We opted to sit outside, the patio was very nice. They even had a heater set up since it was slightly chilly. We ordered whipped feta dip and buffalo chicken rolls (a suggestion from one of the employees). Both were delicious. We also tried the bulgogi beef sandwich, while the meat and other fillings were delicious, the bread was a bit thick for our liking. I tried the lavender cloud drink and it's probably my new favorite cocktail. My husband tried two whiskey based drinks (one not even the menu, that the bartender came up with) and he enjoyed both. Our server was friendly, as was the rest of the staff that we interacted with. Overall, this was a great date night spot!

The restaurant is larger than we expected and has outdoor patio seating for when the weather warms up! There is a large bar (maybe like 12 chairs??) with comfortable seats and hooks for purses- I appreciate that! We enjoyed a couple of the happy hour drinks (Sunset Bliss with Rum- sweet & Sangrita) and had to try a drink on their regular menu. The chicken schwarma rolls were so cute, pretty good too! Fun place with plenty of free parking, away from downtown Plymouth.

This is a perfect place for apps/drinks! A few of my girlfriends and I spent NYE night here, early on in the evening and it was wonderful. The bartenders treated us so special and we loved the vibe. There's live music on certain nights which we were happy to experience while we were there! I highly recommend this spot for a gathering with friends or intimate date because the atmosphere is on point! This is also right next to the Sidecar Slider Bar which features a bit less expensive drinks and more of a sports bar vibe so although they are very different it was super fun to spend time at both in one night and have two totally different experiences!

The seared ahi tuna was overcooked. The filet tips were overcooked. The shrimp tacos were ok, but would have been better with grilled shrimp (not fried) and were not worth the price. Service was slow. After all of our food arrived, they basically forgot about us. Felt like just were not interested after finding out we didn't want cocktails. We like Sidecar a lot, but won't be returning to Shift.

The cocktails are stunning, the food (whether brunch or dinner) is consistently memorable, and apparently every plate is so beautiful that I feel compelled to photograph it. Beyond the food, the service is always exceptional. The staff strikes that perfect balance of polished and warm, making every visit feel like a special occasion. And then there's the atmosphere. The abundant natural light, thoughtful seasonal décor, and the undeniable gravitas of a beautifully restored former bank create an experience that feels both elegant and welcoming. The Ledger is absolutely worthy of being a destination restaurant for celebrations and milestones. But the biggest compliment I can give it is this: we don't save it only for special occasions. Whenever we're nearby, we make a point to stop because the food, drinks, and experience are just that good and the seasonal specials never stay as long as you'd hope. And of course, the speakeasy downstairs is always the perfect end to the night.

She's attentive and on it, the rest of the staff made sure our dishes were cleared, drinks were topped off. Ordered Brussel chips, fat-sar salad, Lobster Mac N Cheese, truffle fries, G.O.A.T. 22, trumpet scallop pad Thai. $170.66 The Brussel chips, lobster Mac and the trumpet scallops (mushrooms) Pad Thai noodles were good at least. The G.O.A.T., Fat-sar and truffles were all underwhelming for me. Their tomahawk steaks are huge, table next to us got two cut up table side. You can smell the smoke flavor from the old fashioned drinks as soon as you walk in the door.

It took the server 12 minutes to even come to our table, just to tell us he also has a party he is taking care of so he would need another few minutes prior to being able to come back to our table. Our order was eventually taken and we received our food in a reasonable amount of time. The food was not that great. I ordered chicken fajita's and half way through eating I chewed on something hard that I couldn't bite through (possibly a tendon from not being cut properly) which turned me off completely from finishing my dinner. My husband got the Chile Colorado, which was basically steak with tomato sauce on top. The sauce for this dish should have been made with dried chiles , tomato sauce and broth (traditionally). The only good things were the guacamole, beans and tomatillo salsa. Our server asked us how the meal was and we honestly told him it wasn't that great. He told the manager who didn't even come to our table. We had placed a carry out order when we placed our dine in order and the 2 burritos we ordered were extremely small ( 15$ for a small burrito and rice and beans). Bottom line, don't waste your money here when there are so many other Mexican restaurants that have really good food (Like Las Palapas in Livonia or El Trompo in Ypsilanti).

There was no question, I would see my friend. We had selected Chicane earlier, eager to try the new restaurant in a familiar setting, by the train tracks on Starkweather. This location was formerly Station 885, a restaurant my friend and I visited years earlier, when a toy train ran along tracks around the perimeter, delighting her young daughter. We arrived early, scoring a great table with a view of the large bar, lounge, and stage. The restaurant is glamorous, with gorgeous lighting and attractive furnishings. Musicians entertained the eager and appreciative audience. There are so few places that provide this level of entertainment and hospitality. I had already previewed the menu and was anticipating the meal ahead. The duck sounded amazing and is almost always my first choice. However, the short ribs were tempting, as were the scallops in a coconut curry broth. I went with my first instinct, the duck, paired with a French Onion soup. The medium-rare duck breast was perfectly prepared; I liked the sweet potato puree and slaw accompaniments. Incidentally, the portion was huge. My friend enjoyed her braised short rib, which was on the 2-course supper menu, available before 6pm. For dessert, I went with the chocolate cube. Unfortunately, I didn't even see the banana parfait, which was mentioned in several of the reviews here. Oh, well, I was content. The dessert had a bold, intense chocolate flavor, which paired well with the ice cream's more subtle flavors. I also appreciated the different textures on the plate. Service was fantastic: professional and helpful. Unfortunately, my car died during the cold, and TripleA was unable to help, given the number of people/vehicles in a similar situation. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to find someone (the Executive Chef, who was in the middle of service) to provide a jump; I am so grateful for the gracious hospitality.
