Updated but not maintained! A $50 incidental hold is placed on your credit card upon check in which seems excessive for this quality of property. When 4 Star NYC properties charge a $50 hold, it's acceptable. This place.....uhh, NO!! For what?! The indoor pool/spa area is in the front of the hotel which is not very inviting as anyone needing to take the elevator would be walking through. I suppose they were expecting very tall guests as the beds are extremely high! I'm 5'7'' and still had to climb onto the thing! The towels are of cheap quality with stains. The walls are dirty. There was dirt or stains on the box spring covers and stains on the sheets and pillow cases. The pillow cases smelled horrible! The elevator sounds like it's about to collapse! The shower head came over on the Mayflower and had no pressure! I booked here because it was the only 3 star property that was reasonably priced. I now know why! Never again!

Just disgusting. I'm nauseated over the smell in my room. The pictures are nothing like the hotel. The "restaurant" is only open certain hours and for dinner you have to get food at the bar which is restricted to 21 and up and looks more like a trashy club (again, not like the pictures). The hotel is very dark. I couldn't even get my shower warm enough to my liking. I'm extremely disappointed and feel like I was mislead by their advertisements. For example: I attached pictures of our bathroom and it is nothing like the pictures on the website.

This hotel was reasonably priced at $75 for a King room. The oil business has slowed in Midland so the hotels are starting to return to normal prices. The property is an older one, but it's obvious that a lot of renovations regarding the decor and furnishings in the lobby and rooms have occurred. The furniture is new and looks good. There is an indoor pool and a workout room, as well as a restaurant and bar area. The dining area and bar were pretty busy too, so they must have something going on. The elevator and hallways haven't got the full renovation treatment yet, but they are passable. My only issue is with the AC unit. It worked very well as far as cooling the room, but it would not allow me to set it to constant fan. So every time it reached the desired temperature it would cut off. Then I would hear people in the parking lot talking. Not yelling, simply talking. Very thin walls here as I was on the second floor. I would stay here again because of the price. Other hotels in the area were still asking $125.

    At least you get water.

Meh. That sums up my impression. Walls are paper thin, or at least I can hear everything going on around me. Rooms show a little wear, but the actual is killing it. I could hang meat in here. Not worth the cash, but everything is overpriced and overbooked in oil country.

A run down property. Paid $100 to stay here. A poor value. The breakfast bar was disappointing, had powdered eggs. ,

No hot water in the mornings. Couldn't shower in the cold. Took 15 minutes to simply check in.

Staff energy is a split experience: the overnight front‑desk person radiates pure "please don't…read moretalk to me," but everyone else more than makes up for it. The daytime team is warm, upbeat, and genuinely conversational -- the kind of folks who'll ask about your plans on the way out, remember what you told them, and check back in later with a natural "so how did it go?" that feels personal rather than scripted. Breakfast is simple but surprisingly delicious, the kind of unexpectedly good start that makes early mornings easier. The poolside gazebo is a standout -- a shaded, breezy escape from the relentless West Texas heat, and one of the few places outdoors where you can actually relax without melting. Rooms are clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Beds hit the sweet spot between soft and supportive, and the AC doesn't just work -- it thrives, keeping the room cool even when the outside temperature is doing its best impression of a blast furnace. The location is another plus: a short walk gets you to several restaurants and a full grocery store, making it easy to grab dinner or stock up without needing to drive.

We called and asked the hotel if they had 2 adjoining rooms available while on our way to Midland,…read morethey confirmed they had ADJOINING rooms available so we booked and paid over the phone. When we arrived less than an hour later they told us they booked us 2 rooms but they did not have adjoining rooms available. We asked for a refund as we specifically requested adjoining rooms during the booking process, the lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE and refused to process a refund, stating they had a 24 hour cancellation policy. This did not go well for any of us. I feel like they intentionally lied during booking to take our money knowing they would not refund it when they were not able to meet our needs. I will admit that I got ugly and tempers flared, she would not allow me to speak with the "Manager on Duty", she told me she did not have a phone number for him. She did finally send him an email and he agreed to refund the money (in 3 business days, I'm still waiting). I am hoping they give the refund as they stated, if not I will spend the money on an attorney. I will never waste my time or money with this hotel.

TLDR: Cute room, friendly staff…read more I went to bed late like at 11:30 PM, and after I slept for what I thought was seven hours I decided I should get up and go to breakfast. It was actually just after 1 AM. I didn't sleep at all apparently. And how could I with the loud nightclub next door. I made my way downstairs and I asked if I could switch to a different room. They said yes and they gave me a new room, which was actually on the same side of the hotel. So I went back down to the front desk again and this time they gave me a room that was on the opposite side of the hotel. So if you stay here, be sure to ask for a room on the residential side and not on the bar side. Unless you're into loud music pumping through your window while you're trying to sleep. Also, the blackout shades didn't really work and the light from the nightclub was also coming through the window. That's why I thought it was time to get up. Once I was able to fall asleep, which was after 2 AM, I slept OK. This had more to do with my state of mind and less to do with the room or the bed. The bed was comfortable, but I had a lot on my mind. I got up for breakfast at 7 AM and I was downstairs at 7:15 AM. They had eggs and the thinnest bacon I've ever seen in my life, and when I and another guest went to get pancakes we found that there was no batter in the machine. Also there was nothing in the frozen yogurt machine. The container for the oatmeal was full of boiling water which was spitting at me while I was trying to get oatmeal. It turns out the breakfast matron was distracted and that was because her tires were slashed the night before. Apparently a lot of people on her street got hit as well. Not a good start to the day for her. I wished her a better tomorrow. I would stay here again, but honestly I hope I never have to go to Midland again. More about my state of mind.

Of course they close at 1-2 am, so we had to listen to that for hours. Other than that everything thing was perfect, large spacious rooms, the bed was perfect, very clean, no bedbugs, and the breakfast was great! I loved my stay, it's just the noise from next door. If I come back I Will stay there, except ask to be on the other side of the hotel.
