In addition, I tipped about $20 each visit. The regular price for a single session is $108. After my second appointment, I experienced significant eye pain and irritation during and after the service. The discomfort lasted for quite a while after I went home, and the salon staff even provided me with artificial tears before I left. I have been doing lash extensions for years and had never experienced this level of discomfort before. Because of this experience, I no longer felt comfortable continuing the remaining sessions. I was not asking for a full refund. I specifically offered a compromise: the salon could charge me the regular full price ($108 each) for the two completed sessions and refund the unused remaining balance from the package. However, this request was refused unless I obtained medical documentation proving a severe glue allergy. What disappointed me most was the aftercare handling and the lack of clear policy disclosure at the time of purchase. During the discussion, the salon's explanations repeatedly changed regarding refunds, transfers, and what conditions would qualify for cancellation. Certain "policies" were only brought up after I requested a refund. I also did not feel it was reasonable to require a customer to continue risking additional eye irritation or pay out-of-pocket medical expenses just to qualify for a partial refund for unused services. To be fair, the salon did offer alternatives such as changing lash technicians, transferring services, or complimentary sessions. So it was totally damaged. But naturally I have wavy hair. I always want to get soft and straight hair. So I been talk to him and he told me I cannot get the Chinese Straightening because the hair will just fall off. I waited and waited for 2 years. Finally todays I was able to get the straightening. It's soft and healthy. I met him at a different hair salon. And I know he is my hairstylist. Because he is honest and he is trustworthy. He told me to wait for the bleached hair to get cut and then I can do the treatment. Last year in July, I did the Brazilian treatment. I feel it's not as good as the Chinese straightening. Because it last only for 2-3 months. Another thing I would like to say after you get your hair done by Alan. It looks good for a couple of months. It's easy to maintain. Not like other places. It looks good to the first time, then you washes it. It's back to normal. Alan know how different hair types works. And he always get me the prefect hair color. He is been doing it for over 15 years.
