how do you go from a tire patch, to sanding the rim and then copious amounts of tire glue? they upcharge for every little thing, including rim size, tire size and one thing I can tell you.... 50 bucks and up for a tire patch, crazy pricing, might as well get a new tire ... never going back, and I used to go to Xtreme tires for years, they are going to lose many more customers with this pricing and upcharge for every little thing you think its worth charging for. read more

Brought my Mercedes in for 4 new tires got all of them replaced in less than an hour. Everyone was working together to make sure it got done in a timely manner 2 people changing the tire while one was putting one on couldn't ask for better service. Very friendly and open to other services besides tire replacement/repair. Also got my paint chips painted, my spoiler polished for a great price, a carwash which of course I tipped for, and a free drink before I left. They did a really good job with good prices on four new tires. I had a little wobble right after I left to get the car aligned. & they told me to bring it back & showed me the issue that caused it (I had a bent rim) but they still offered me help to get that replaced if I wanted. I've been here several times for all of our vehicles' tire needs. Like new to gently used tires, huge selection of inventory, super reasonable prices. I get a pair of tires, installed, for less than half what I would pay for one, even on Tire Tack. They always have the brand and size I need to match whatever I have existing, from SUVs to sedans. Owner is very nice, very honest, won't sell you anything you don't need. During peak demand, you may need to wait about 45 minutes, but otherwise it's a pretty quick in/out. There's a small climate-controlled lobby/waiting area with a couch and chairs, TV, water cooler, etc. I highly recommend this place to save you hundreds in new tire costs. read more

One word!....FANTASTIC!! Great, reliable, and dependable service. Thanks to the pothole infestation that seems to plague DC every winter, I got a flat on not one tire but two!!...on Tuesday night while heading home from work! I spent part of the freezing night waiting on a tow and you probably can figure out the rest....I was not a happy camper!! The next morning, I started the not so exciting task of trying to find a tire repair/installation shop to bail me out. After calling and searching online to nauseam, I only found tire service shops that gave me the run around, jinky responses, inflated prices, and rude unprofessional service from people on the other end of the line...that only left me thinking they would be sketchy to deal with overall. Well, this was definitely not the case when I called Xtreme Tire Sales & Auto Detailing! I called and spoke to Eduardo. He was very responsive and professional. More importantly, he sounded eager to help. I explained that I needed two new tires of different sizes. Eduardo was able to find the exact same tire, brand and size....and check this....had them available the same day! I was very impressed. To sweeten the deal, the price of the tires were significantly less than any other tire shop I have dealt with in the past....and believe me there have been plenty....because this is not the first time being a victim to DC potholes -- due to having low-profile tires. At any rate, I was able to utilize their mobile tire service which reduced the stress and extra cost of having to tow my car to a tire shop..... to then only take a seat and wait for servicing. This place saved me big time! They primarily service the VA surrounding area. I was not in their servicing area but they went the extra mile to come from Chantilly, VA to my home in DC and help me anyways. That says a lot about a business, their generosity and great customer values...in my humble opinion. The technician arrived at my home on time, as scheduled and completed the tire installation really fast; in less than a hour flat (no pun intended..lol) and with no issues. The mobile truck was fully equipped with all the tools and equipment to install, mount and balance my tires. There was no mess, cleanup, or disposal of tires to deal with....they took care of it all. Talk about a convenience! I was really pleased with their service and able to complete the entire process over the phone. Not to mention, the cost of the tires and mobile service was less the hassle, cost, and time of going directly to a tire merchant shop!! Yelp states that they open at 8 am on a Sunday but when you navigate to their website it says they open at 9 am on Sunday's. Since They didn't return my call, I called back again after 9 and nobody picked up. Same deal at around 10:30 ish. I called them when I needed a spare tire and didn't want to spend a lot. When I called I was told they didn't have any new tires in my size, only used. I didn't know they sold used tires, and that worked out good for me in terms of price (about half the cost of new) and convenience. I set up an appointment but got caught in nasty traffic, so I got there just 15 minutes before closing. They still took me in and did the job. Tires come with mounting and balancing included, which is great. The only downsides were that the waiting area is kinda dingy and cramped, and the TV is set to the tastes of the receptionist. In my case, that meant 45 minutes of watching the Kardashians. By far the most painful part of doing business here. I used their Alexandria shop. Place is awesome point blank. Eduardo takes cares of you big time! I needed to replace my tires but didn't want to spend $700+ on all four new tires since I do not know how much my Ford Expedition will go since it has 194k on it. So looked on craigslist for tires and XTS had the size I need and best of all a full matching set of 4 Goodyear AT/S 265/70R17. Plus side was I sent less then half of what I was going to spend on brand new tires, these tires that I got had maybe a little more then half of the tread left on them. So total cost out the door was only $252. For a used tired place I must say place was well organized and clean, not like other places that have tires stacked up like a mountain. They also are able to hook you up with brand new tires as well, plus they can handle larger size wheels too. read more

Tires I got were good. No dry rot, rips, plugs, etc. good tread and relatively even wear. Eduardo, the owner, seems like an upfront, honest dude. He addressed all my concerns, told me what he thought of each set of tires (didn't talk smack about them, but he wasn't pushy either) and let me check out the tires before he popped them on. His prices are impossible to beat and if he did more than just tires/brakes/wheels I probably wouldn't go anywhere else. Edit 1/15/15: driven cross country multiple times and I drive like a maniac. Very pleased with the high quality of the barely used tires I acquired. They have over 80% life left and cost me less than 1/3 of what it would have cost for same tires new installed. Service was quick as well. My next stop was to get an alignment and they recorded my tires as having 10/32 tread left, which is what tires have when they are new. What a great deal! read more

I had already purchased one tire online and dropped by to buy the 2 that they had in my size. All in all from purchase to mounting/balancing/installation I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Just took my '94 LeSabre to X-Treme for tires. They were VERY professional, and a great place to do business with. Very nice to my 2-year-old, and made us both feel welcome. The original tires I was looking at were not the best choice, and they explained why, and got me a better set for the same money. Great customer service, and very knowledgeable. These guys are awesome! I brought in a set of OEM wheel upgrades for Xtreme to install after calling several local tire shops that were not able to accommodate a larger wheel size. My initial contact with Xtreme was positive. I called to inquire if they could in fact work with a larger wheel. I was asked general questions about the wheel and was assured that they would be able to do that job. Upon arriving the information that I provided about the wheels was verified and they began working on my vehicle within mere minutes upon arriving. At some point they did run into a problem with installing the rears. I was given options, as well as recommendations. They recommended an in-house procedure to get proper fitment. I agreed, they worked diligently for almost an hour and a half on two wheels to assure that I was satisfied with the final product. I think I've found my new tire and wheel spot! read more

If there were option for zero stars I would've give it zero stars. I will never do business at this place very rude workers including his owner. I bought four new tiers from this place! First they broke my car tier sensor, second after putting the new tires my brand new 2016 Toyota corolla was shaking like crazy while driving over 40 mp, and the tire that they put got bubbled. When I went back to ask them why is this? They said get a new tire and u have to pay for it. I asked them what about they warranty that I have for 40,000 miles? This said bullshit, this warranty is not for road hazards bla bla. When I asked them to change one the tire which was extremely because the bubbles so they change it for me and it told me it's going to be there in two weeks after two weeks so when I went there to change a tire they charge me additional money not going to pay because I have the warranty they use the shitty words to me and say fuck my car in the garage and they told me if you don't see me you're not going to get your fucking car and they took my car in their garage were extremely rude. so I ended up being paying them additional $50 for one and they took some much of time, it was a really bad business. It really doesn't worth to for saving little bit money to buy tiers from these shops instead of buying from walmart Costco and other big stores, you get great service and good quality. This was my one of the biggest mistake to bought tiers from here will never do it again. read more
