    Free Pho Soup. Tasty!
    G M.

I fall in love with this new Com Tam. Com Tam has been always one of my favorite dish. I literally i can eat it everyday. I tried most of Com Tam in Little Saigon. So far this one is the best, in my opinion. Pork chops was in a little fatty side but juicy and very tasty. Their pickled was unique. Fish sauce was bold and balance. They give you free soup. I am pretty sure it was Pho Soup because it tasted like Pho. They also have Pho on menu so I will defintely come back and try it out. We order: -Com Tam Pork Chop only $11. Comes with huge portion of pork chops. You dont find this meal this cheap anymore. -Com Tam Bi suon Cha $14. Huge portion too. Their service was kinda slow and a little confused because they are still new and ran by young kids. However, they are polite and give their 100% at heart. I can tell by the way they asked questions at the end when we paid if the whole meal and service were good. I will defintely come back for sure. Love it!!

A nice addition to the Bolsa Mini Mall! I never got the chance to try out the food from their food truck, but I assume that it's fairly similar. The menu offers a range of both broken rice dishes and different types of pho. I'm not a huge fan of the BBQ pork chop, but I assume that they allow substitutions. They also have a bunch of extras so you can basically create your broken rice plate if you don't like their set options. The prices are pretty close to competitors', and the portions are decently sized. Each rice plate is given 2 BBQ pork chops, whereas other locations only give you 1, so we definitely had to share. * Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả Tàu Hủ Ky: 9/10 - everything was tasty * Cơm Sườn Bò Đại Hàn Trứng: 9/10 - egg was a nice addition but wish it didn't have such a long wait time * Thịt Xiên Nướng (3 Cây): 10/10 - meat was juicy and tender We had to add our names to the waiting list when we first arrived, but it only took about 10 minutes for them to call our name. The workers were very kind and attentive when we got seated and almost immediately took our order. They were also consistently refilling our cups with free herbal tea which we really appreciated! The restaurant is definitely on the smaller size, and I was actually surprised that they were able to fit so many tables in such a small space. It's located at the Bolsa Mini Mall, so parking will definitely be difficult at peak times and on the weekends. Keep in mind, however, that there are no public restrooms, unfortunately! Nevertheless, very tasty!

I'm so happy I got to check out the storefront for lunch. The location looks great with ample tables inside and outside patio. The staff is super friendly and I have to say they have great customer service. We ordered to go and the food was done so quickly. The pork chops are marinated to perfection and the smoky meat was so tender. There's a good amount of rice and pickled vegetables. I'll definitely be back soon!

Discovered Xe Com Tam VH via an Instagram Reel a few weeks ago and had to check them out during my trip home! They now have two Brick & Mortar Locations (Westminster and Fountain Valley) and closed the truck location. I ordered the Speciality Rice Plate and got the Pork Chop plate for my Dad. The meat was absolutely delicious and had that beautiful charred smell! The portions were absolute ginormous, I believe each plate can be shared amongst two averagely hungry people. Each order came with a side of soup and a complimentary Nuoc Mat drink. Each plate was about $15 each, absolutely delicious while bang for your buck. Definitely recommend!

This was actually my first time having com tam from a food truck, and overall I was very satisfied with the meal. The portion size was huge, which, to be fair, is pretty standard for com tam. The meat itself was flavourful and tender. Price-wise, it was a little higher than what you'd typically pay at a brick-and-mortar restaurant. That said, I feel like that's pretty common with food trucks these days given the operating costs, so no complaints there. The real standout for me was the nuoc mat, which I think might be the best nuoc mat I've had anywhere in little Saigon.

Food is super yummy, especially the com tam is excellent, from fish sauce to grilled pork chop is well marinated The Service is a bit slow which is not a big issue for me, due to the restaurant was packed, and togo order from doordash and phone keeping coming in. You know the food is good when the restaurant is busy Ambiance is great, the service was still very friendly and attentive even it was busy I Will be back for sure

If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese pho with no MSG, premium Wagyu beef, generous portions, and prices that won't break the bank, this restaurant is absolutely worth visiting. The Com Tam is no comment, because it is so good that my husband finish the whole plate, nothing left. Service was friendly, though it was busy The place is small but busy we will be back again

They have a brick and mortar now. They said the truck is no longer in operation. Broken Rice -steaming hot and good BBQ Pork Chop - good flavor Shredded Pork Skin - good Egg Cake - ok Fried Egg - a bit small and not runny enough Spare Rib - ok, wouldn't order again Tau hu ky - ok, wouldn't order again Pickled veggies - a little sweet, but good Nuoc mat - decent, but can't complain cause it's free Prepare for a wait cause it was busy. Only 9 tables for dine in.

#2- Com Tam Suon Bi Cha (Vietnamese Broken Rice with Pork Chop, Shredded Pork Skin, and Pork Egg Cake) $13- Delicious! 5 stars

Xe Com Tam VH (VH Broken Rice Truck) serves the BEST COM TAM/BROKEN RICE! Com Tam Thành was my all time favorite... but this truck has been around since February 2024. I remember seeing them at Garden Grove Park and they were having specials on their #2- Com Tam Suon Bi Cha, broken rice with pork chop, shredded pork skin, and pork egg cake. The plate also comes with pickled veggies to balance out all of the meat. I have since gone to them about five times. You can find their promos on their Facebook page. They currently have a promo until 3/31/26 where their #2 entree is only $11 ($2 off)! All entrees come with FREE nuoc mat (cold herbal sweetened tea). Their NEW LOCATION: 15084 Weststate St, Westminster, CA 92683 (Off Bolsa and Magnolia, next to 168 Kho Bo near Asian Garden Mall) I forgot to take a recent photo of the food, but their portion sizes have increased. The plate is HUGE and they give you a giant pork chop and a fluffy pile of broken rice. I've also gotten the #7- 3 pork skewers $13. It's a little small, but grilled to perfection, with a smoky flavor. DO NOT get the tau hu ky (fried shrimp cake) $5. It is pricey for the size, and when you get it at restaurants, it's 100% shrimp paste. Here, it is mixed with pork. Flavor is good, but not authentic and it was burnt the last time I got it. :( Service is quick and you can order on their Instagram page @vhcatering_ or you can place a phone order with them. Can't wait to go back. I want to try their sup cua- crab soup next time. Come try them out- you will be hooked! Happy eating! Yelp Review #31- 2026

restaurant is located in the bolsa mini mall with plenty of parking. restaurant itself is pretty cozy so there may be a wait if you go during peak times. food was good - large portion and reasonably priced. free nuoc mat was a plus! would go again :)

The marinated beef was delicious--tender, flavorful, and packed with flavor. The marinade really soaked into the meat, and they were generous with the portion, serving three slices of beef, which made the meal satisfying and worth it. The downside was the tau Hu Ky. It wasn't good in my opinion. It had way too much black pepper, which overpowered the flavor, and I just didn't find it tasty. The shrimp inside wasn't juicy either--it was dry and disappointing.

I was very disappointed with my order today. I ordered 3 boxes of Cơm Tấm, and two of them contained meat that was almost half FAT instead of meat. At first, I thought it was just one box with the issue, but when I opened the second box that I brought home, it had the same problem. I paid $18 per box, so I expected much better quality. Receiving meat that was mostly FAT is very disappointing and not worth the price.

Food was absolutely delicious and authentic. When my friend told me that there's a com tam food truck, I was skeptical tbh. It made me think it's probably one of those modern places catered to non-Viets but I was wrong! The meat was not only tender and superbly seasoned, I got 2 big pieces! For $15, that's amazing. The cha was alright to me, I've had better because it was pretty bland to me. I was pleasantly surprised to see dua chua in the veggies, so that was new. Would stop by again :)

The broken rice tasted like they mixed it with some sort of meat-infused oil to add that extra depth of flavor.

Our tour guide, Scarlet, was awesome. A local Angeleno, it was clear she really knows her stuff. She shared a ton of history with us, about downtown and Los Angeles in general. My favorite morsel was when the city was removing a bunch of trees from Pershing Square, Walt Disney took a bunch of them off the city's hands and used them for the Jungle Cruise! We started with an almond croissant from Pitchoun, then got pork belly skewers from Sari Sari Store at Grand Central Market, then we were on to Maccheroni Republic for some pumpkin ravioli, then tacos at Guisados, and finally donuts at Donut Friend. We walked 2 miles total, and enjoyed every step and every bite. Highly recommend!!

Totally not the guide's fault, but there was a bit of huddling under awnings and leaping over puddles throughout the evening. Also, there were times we wished that the guides waited to tell stories when we were inside, instead of standing in the weather. We were a big group and they split us into two - we started in different places and met up halfway through. Several members of our group had food allergies. The best part of the evening was the diligence our guide took making sure he accommodated the special diet needs, including some bizarre allergies. There were no slip ups or mix ups, and there was a couple of things everyone could eat at each place. The stories we did hear were very interesting, although it was really limited to a couple of anecdotes here and there. There was more socializing and sampling than touring and learning the area's culinary history, which was fine. We felt like the delivery could have been more engaging and the tour more interactive but overall it was really enjoyable. Good variety of different restaurants, and this was one of the only tours we could find that could do an evening slot instead of just daytime. Food was pre-ordered, and all the choices were really good. A great way to learn about the area and try a lot of different things, while spending quality time with groupmates.

My friend chose Best Coast Tours for her wine tasting birthday celebration in Temecula this weekend…read moreand we all had a great time! Our driver/tour guide, Joseph, was awesome. He was so friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable... and he let us pick the music (extra points)! We were a group of 9 and did the South OC pickup from San Juan Capistrano. The shuttle van fits a total of 14, so we were joined by another couple and pair of sisters, who thankfully, were really cool people, so it wasn't awkward at all. The shuttle van was very comfortable and Joseph provided waters and snacks, but you can also bring your own if you like. We visited 4 wineries in total, tastings and winery tours were included in the ticket price, and most wineries offer a 10-25% discount on bottle purchases through Best Coast Tours as well. You can even order your lunch in advance, not included in the ticket price, to be delivered during your lunch stop on the tour. We chose that option and enjoyed our lunch seated at a table on the grass listening to live music. Everything was so convenient and we really got lucky with the beautiful weather. Overall it was a great experience, I would definitely recommend Best Coast Tours to anyone from SoCal looking to spend a day out in Temecula without any of the stress of planning and coordinating. The ticket price is very reasonable considering everything that's included. Don't hesitate!
