The FOOD here is really good. I got the banh cuon dac biet and the rice rolls were thin, steamy, and packed with flavor. The nuoc mam (fish sauce) here beats the other banh uot spots around Bolsa. The dipping sauce and sides were perfect, and the owners were welcoming. The SERVICE was a different story. There's a Mexican server named Thomas and he was the only server who was actually welcoming and friendly. He did everything by himself with a full house going out the door but handled it like a pro -- with a smile the whole time. It's crazy because you would think he doesn't understand Vietnamese, but he does! The other servers were the horrible. When I tell you not just 1 of them but ALL of them were not welcoming nor did they know what they were doing. They just stood in a circle talking and didn't help at all. I had to get up and ask for utensils and bowl. That should be brought out the moment you're seated. Place is clean and open late until 11pm. If they fix the front house staffing and actually have the other servers work, this could easily be a 5 star spot because the food deserves it. read more

Came back on Sat 9/5 for lunch around 1130am. Did not have to wait long. But the parking was partially blocked off due to construction work. So finding parking spot is a bit tougher. Learned that they will end the 20% discount promo after Labor Day. Had the Banh Cuon Dac Biet and it's still good as usual but took a long time to come out since the restaurant is practically full. I also ordered a couple of items to go and that took much longer to be done. 1. Banh Tam Bi: quite good with generous portion of bi. The coconut sauce was thick and creamy. 2. Bun Tom Thit Nuong: just average. Not worth the price though. They still don't have any item on menu that includes soup. So, the selection is limited. read more

Was really excited to check this place out for the first time. Their posted hours said they were open until 10 PM, so I arrived around 9:15 PM only to find the restaurant already closed. Unfortunately I didn't even get a chance to try the food. Hopefully the hours just need to be updated because I'd still like to come back and actually give them a try. I would not return and would recommend that friends and family spend their money elsewhere. For better portions and value, I recommend Bánh Cuốn Lưu Luyến instead. My mom approved this new Bánh Cuốn place. We went on a Sunday during the soft opening week so the restaurant was super busy. Personally I loved what I ordered: bánh cuốn with chả. It was delicious. Its been a while since Im impressed with the texture of the flour of bánh cuốn, which is tricky to make. I Order the banh cuon and to my surprise i like the flower rice cake. it's very smooth and silky. And You can actually taste a flavor of the rice noodle role a feelings we're good as well. We can always welcome another banh cuon place since it's one of the easiest things to eat at any time of the day. This restaurant replaces Ngoc Suong so it's spacious inside. The service was prompt for a new place. The menu is a little interesting since there're a lot of different kind of dishes offered ( a lot of them are not available at this time though). I wouldn't think I could (or should) order something like honey cashews shrimps at a banh cuon place. The banh cuon here is the more translucent kind and the portion is on par with other places. The cha lua or cha chien are cut thicker but seem lacking the distinct pork flavor. Everything just tasted above average but nothing impressed me. They did give dinners %30 discounts for soft opening so we ended up paying $24 for two. I tried it and if I have a choice I would go to BC Luu Luyen instead but that's just my preference. Banh Cuon Thien Huong I stopped by during their first day of soft opening because I was curious to see how this new spot would be. I ordered three bánh cuốn with pork filling and the Bánh Ướt Thanh Trì. According to one of the staff members, they are connected with Banh Cuon Tay Ho, so the quality of the bánh cuốn was pretty much what I expected. Tay Ho has been well known around the Bolsa area for years, especially for their thin and soft bánh cuốn and bánh ướt. The texture here was very nice -- soft, delicate, and not too thick. Since it was literally their first day, I completely understand that things may not be 100% perfect yet. I usually try not to be too critical during a soft opening because the team is still getting used to the flow and working out all the little details. What stood out to me the most was the service. Everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. For a first day, I thought the staff did a great job. The restaurant itself is spacious, clean, bright, and everything still feels very new. Parking is also super easy since there's plenty of space in this shopping center, which is always a plus in the Bolsa area. I believe they're currently offering 30% off during their soft opening as well. Overall, a very good first impression. Good bánh cuốn, friendly service, a comfortable space, and easy parking. A nicely opened banh cuon place taking over the old Ngoc Suong restaurant. It's an extremely large space, and they seem to only occupy about less than 70% of the available area. First off, Yelp waitlist or check-in doesn't work. While Yelp mentions a waitlist on their app, the place doesn't actually use it, at least not yet. Second, there are free drinks while you wait, including iced tea, water, herbal drinks, and soda. The service was good. The female cashier is very friendly and greets with a bright smile. Overall, the staff was quick. The food is very similar to Tay Ho. The cha, or pork rolls, are thickly cut. The grilled pork roll is packed with flavor. It could use more veggies inside, but otherwise it's good. The ground pork banh cuon is a bit thick in the dough after rolling, but it's flavorful and seasoned with a lot of pepper. I saw a post about Bánh Cuốn Thiên Hương a few days ago saying they were doing a soft opening, so of course I had to try it while it was still new. And when they say soft opening, they mean **SOFT opening**. They're literally still working on the place. When I walked up, they were power cleaning and prepping outside and I wasn't even sure they were open. I asked one of the workers and they were like, yeah, we're open. So in I went. Inside everything was clean and presentable. They specialize in bánh cuốn, with plates around $14-16, so prices felt pretty standard. They had both concentrated and premixed nước mắm available, chilies on the side, and the fried onions looked super light, crispy and fresh. Unfortunately, the flavor was where it fell a little short for me. The nước mắm was very light and even after adding chili, I got more spice but still wanted more flavor. Same with the fried onions -- they looked amazing and crispy, but I could barely taste the onion. Maybe I'm just used to a more pungent, less healthy version lol. I actually thought the portion wouldn't fill me up at first, but it did. They were also offering a free drink. I asked what one was and was told something like "watermelon," so I was very confused when a black drink showed up. I'm pretty sure she meant **winter melon**. There was a little language barrier, but everyone was nice. At checkout they asked for my phone number. Their system didn't seem completely set up yet, but they do take cards, and giving them my number got me **20% off**, which was a nice surprise. It also looks like there's a stage and lights inside, and they're open pretty late, so I'm curious what this place is eventually going to turn into once the soft opening is actually over. a new hot restaurant in the city of westminster, little saigon. parking may be limited due to many stores in the plaza but was able to find one on a tuesday afternoon! they have a soft opening deal of 20% from your total as well as drinks that consisted of teas & soda! i ordered the banh cuon dac biet which is a little of everything/combination. this dish was pretty good in my opinion but not the worst. they cut the rice noodles in squares instead of having the whole sheet like other restaurants. the tables were set up easy. once you arrive, the hostess is just at the front and telling you to pick your own seat rather than sitting us down with menus. we had to wait for a different server to give us waters and the menus which i thought was severely off. this place is worth a try but i wouldn't spend $19 for a small dish like this unfortunately read more

When we pointed this out, the staff apologized but said they don't put shrimp on it. One waitress even told us, "The picture is AI." Using fake images to describe food is incredibly misleading. I understand they just opened, but management needs to fix the menu immediately to avoid disappointing future customers. This review is based on their banh cuon, their namesake. Cons... First off, the one thing that stands out the most is the ratio of dough to filling. There's way too much dough, unlike their local competitors. Next, their filing has too much mushroom and not enough pork. The seasoning appears off as well. Another thing that kind of stands out as a con, is the fish sauce. It's a bit light and doesn't have that full savory taste. Pros... Lots of veggies, especially the steamed bean sprouts. I like the huge tempura sweet potato with shrimp. The mung bean cup cake was mid at best. The biggest pro would be their steamed and fried pork roll/loaf. They give thick slices but I can foresee thin slices in the future, so enjoy it while it's thick.
