The one star reviews are well deserved. This could be renamed as the Waiting Room. Come prepared to spend your day. Reminds me of Labcorp.

DO NOT RECOMMEND -- BILLING, SECURITY & CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE…read more I have only had Xfinity Internet for two months since relocating to Upper Marlboro, and although it was cheaper than Verizon, it has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. On July 14, we received what appeared to be a legitimate Xfinity call to pay our bill. The caller had our information, and we even received an Xfinity verification text. We paid, received an email saying the bill was paid, and later discovered serious concerns that our payment and account information had been compromised. When I called Xfinity, I was told my account would be credited by July 20. Instead, I was charged another late fee. I called again on July 27 and was passed around to representatives who gave conflicting information, read scripts, and continued asking me to pay an incorrect balance instead of fixing the problem. Even my installation experience was terrible. The technician asked personal questions unrelated to the installation and made me so uncomfortable that I asked my husband to hurry home. Two months in, I've dealt with security concerns, incorrect billing, late fees, broken promises, and terrible customer service. I will be canceling as soon as Xfinity corrects and zeros out my account. I would not recommend Xfinity to anyone. The cheaper price is NOT worth the frustration.

When I moved back, I assumed Verizon would still be the stronger carrier. Wrong. If you know me, you know I don't tolerate anything that doesn't serve me. Marriage, relationships, bad service... I'll exit stage left with no hesitation. I made the mistake of switching from T‑Mobile to Verizon, but it only took 12 months to correct it. The service was terrible, and for a carrier that charges premium prices, the experience was anything but premium. Now, about the in‑store customer service: It was... decent. I arrived an hour before closing, and even though I should've been next, another customer was helped first. The assistant manager announced that skipping me was "the correct order," which made no sense. Thankfully, the actual manager explained the mix‑up and was kind about it. With several vacations planned through September and knowing Verizon offers nothing close to T‑Mobile's international perks I switched back. In true Nessa fashion: divorce finalized. Verizon has the worst service in the DMV. I took a last‑minute getaway and refused to give them another dollar so I quickly switched! They're expensive, and I'd rather support a company that actually works. And for my Verizon WiFi loyalists: I even changed my WiFi provider, and everything at the new company is better. If you're still with Verizon... make the switch. Grass is greener on this side! Life lesson: Leave anything that doesn't satisfy you. And when you take the trash out, don't hesitate. If someone else wants what you threw away, let them have it, some people mistake your discarded scraps for treasure because they've never had anything better or simply put, it's their only option. It's a compliment when anyone tries to be you! Cheers Yelpies! See ya Verizon.

Verizon computers repeatedly froze up during the sign up process and our helpful but justifiably drained Verizon staff member, had to check with his unseen manager for 10 minutes, three separate times. We simply wanted to buy a phone, and pay for the whole thing, for our nephew to replace his phone that broke on the Appalachian Trail. After an hour, we believe it was perhaps done except Verizon won't actually sell you a freaking phone. They require you to make payments. Plus, they don't have any phones in inventory. Plus, they are apparently required to try to sell you crap you don't want. They were even required to offer services to my wife and I which we declined, repeatedly. We all had to listen to multiple offers unrelated to the simple desired transaction we actually wanted to perform. Meanwhile, we couldn't read and accept incredibly lengthy terms and condition sheets due to the computers locking up, over and over again. What a struggle! All this hassle, for more than an hour, just to buy a phone, which they didn't have. Life is good with telecommunications. Verizon leadership... please go to a Verizon store and try to buy a phone with Verizon service. I dare you.

I need to connect to a VPN for my work place, however, the connection is ONLY blocked whenever I am connected to the Gigstreem network (The ISP of my apartment complex). I have detailed the issue and escalated it multiple times to Gigstreem support, however, they have just kept on closing my tickets without resolutions after "escalating to the engineering team". They have been hesitant in hopping on a live call session to see my issue in real time and insisted that they will be "working on the issue after the call". I have been waiting on a resolution for 3 weeks, I even have escalated this issue to my work support and the VPN provider's support who have both confirmed the issue is from Gigstreem. I have confirmed that as well since the connection works when I'm connected to any other non-Gigstreem network. It is really disappointing to be locked into this ISP and their support channel just refuses to even look into this.

Wifi doesn't go as far, wifi 5 speeds(slow), no IPv6, no UPnP, double natting with CGNAT, no inbound connections. This is glorified hotel wifi with all the lockdown and no support. They sell this as a "less expensive, faster, and equally functional" service to Spectrum, and so far I get faster on Spectrum, I don't have these technical issues, and support is far better and is actually US based. While this is a money grab by my apartment, if the service delivered by GiGstreem was what they promised at the property meet and greet, I'd still be unwilling yet wouldn't be complaining.
