Went to the 82nd St location after a frustrating experience at the Town Center location. The rep seemed only interested in trying me to switch my cell phone service after I repeatedly explain I was in their only to swap out my box and remote. She gave me a remote but it didn't pair as my box needed updating as well. The 82nd St location were on their game. They listened to me and swapped out my box and remote. Went home and it paired and updated perfectly. Will go out of my way to go to 82nd Street loc from now on as this is my second positive experience. read more

I went to the Xfinity store to pick up my new modem for my home Internet, and was surprised how quick and efficient the experience was for me. My apartment complex had an agreement with Xfinity to provide Internet for all residents, so I just had to set up an account with Xfinity and go to the store to pick up the equipment for home installation. The store was not busy at all when I arrived and walked in, and a customer service representative greeted me right away. I gave him my name and he gave me the modem and equipment I needed to set up the Internet at home. He gave me a phone number to call if I have issues setting up the modem, and I was on my way out the door. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. It was nice service and I appreciated the help from the representative, but really did not feel impressed with the experience. I have had problems with Xfinity/Comcast in the past, and I hope this time around, things will go well with my home Internet service, but I cannot comment on the value of this experience because I really did not get any sense of value. The store is nice and the service was good, but I would not say it had a "wow" factor. It is what it is, and that is all to say about that. read more

I wish I could deduct two stars! I dealt with this company for around five years. Then suddenly, my cable bill and my phone bill went up,and up!There were hidden charges; it was crazy. I closed my account. I turned in my equipment and had my receipts. I had to close out my checking account because they kept dipping into it. Then they turned me over to a collections agency,!saying I owed $133 more!,How when you pay ahead? They turned my account over to a collection agency gave me a derogatory mark.I straightened it out with this agency.I sent them all my receipts,and to the collection agency remove the derogatory mark. I also mailed , in two letters and my receipts to comcast explaining my side I sent the letters certified! Well, they sold my information to a new collection agency, and that derogatory mark came right back on my credit reports with no notice!! I called the new collection agency , and I also called the credit bureau! But I now I have no receipts!! I would turn this over to my attorney , but he charges 200.00 hour! If I were you, I would run as fast as I could away from this company.They are a huge scam giant and you cannot fight them,and win! My advice , if you have them and you're having problems with them , you need to close your account that they take the money out of immediately. And save all your receipts!! I went to the store today to return equipment after the year of "free equipment rental," had concluded. I have been using my own router for months but was informed today that I would now have a data cap on my home network unless I pay $15/month for unlimited data. When I pressed them on this, they told me that only their routers could handle the unlimited data. This is obviously a lie. So all in all, I returned their equipment but was asked to pay the same equipment rental price for continuity of service. This predatory corporate policy is obviously designed to take advantage of people but is not why I am writing this review. This review is for this specific store. I sat down to wait my turn and watched the store manager raise his voice to tell off an elderly customer who appeared to be well into his 80s. The man came over to me and explained that his phone had been stolen and he'd driven 20 miles to come to the store for help. The account however was in his wife's name and they would not help him without her present. They would also not allow him to use their phone to call his wife. This is the part of the conversation I overheard where the manager very loudly told the man that it was a business decision. The manager then stared him down with his shoulders set and square until the elderly man dropped his head and walked away. What strength. As I was being helped, I overheard the man talking to another waiting customer, explaining the situation, and a different xfinity employee yelled across the store, "we don't have to help you at all if you don't change your attitude." I did not see the elderly customer be rude to any of the employees, but even if he had been, there is no excuse for the level of disrespect this man received. If your employees are not willing to have any grace or patience for a man in his 80s, who's phone has been stolen and needs help, then you need new employees. I shared my discontent with members of the staff and they apologized for my wait time but would not acknowledge their treatment of the other customer. My family will be leaving Xfinity immediately and I sincerely hope that this review is seen and things are made right with this customer. read more

The only reason I am giving 5 stars is for David and David alone. I know most places are short staffed, and the wait is out of their control. Even after dealing with Karen after Karen, when Davis's took care of us, he was focused on us and us alone. Amazing customer service was provided by him regardless of how other customers treated him. And man, I would not be able to keep my cool like him. Professional, and actually listened to us and helped get the best deal possible. 10/10 recommend setting an appointment with David. I have been a Comcast / Xfinity customer since 2004. I turned off my cable in 2019 to just have internet service. In 2019 I returned the cable boxes, yet I discovered 6 weeks ago that they have been charging me an extra $30 a month since 2019. That is over $1800 in over charged fees. After hours on the phone over multiple days, with multiple promises to refund the overcharges I still have no credits or refund. After not receiving resolution via multiple phone calls we visited this location. They again would not help with a resolution. Every employee we come into contact with says a refund will be issued but no refund ever arrives. EVERYONE you come in contact with is either inept or a liar! I came to the store because my wife's phone had had issues with the SIM card. As expected, the rep suggested she try getting a new SIM card, but we would have to wait. The rep told us that he would get us checked in and send us a text when we were next in line. The wait time was 1.5 hours. There are many stores nearby, so we decided to walk around while we waited instead of waiting at the store for 1.5 hours. Two hours later, we came back and were told that we had to get back in line. The reasons included: we're not there when they called my name; they wouldn't have texted us because they simply had no ability to call or text. The young lady insisted that it's my fault because WE LEFT. Well, the guy who checked us in told me that we would receive a text, and I did receive a text as pictured here, and he heard we say we were going to go to other stores and he didn't ask us not to, or that we had to stay in the store. The young lady saw the text I showed her, and she just looked at me coldly and said, "but you left" as if it's solely my mistake when it's not mine at all. Would it kill them to just apologize for wasting customer's time? All we need is someone to activate a new SIM card. That's all. Would it hurt them to just put us first in line, instead of making us wait for another hour, which will be three hour wait time in total for us just for a SIM card? So stupid. If switching a phone carrier were easier, I would be gone. So mad. read more

I was a little sceptic going in given how 8 calls to Xfinity customers service didn't help at all . All the rep over the phone were polite and helpful but our problem never got solved .so after trying everything possible we decided to go to the service store . Jeremy in the service center solved our problem in no time . He knew what needed to be done and what he did helped us get our internet back promptly. (It got cancelled for no reason) I would have given him a 5 star but we did get charged the 70 dollars which we weren't supposed to ..for that but i am hopeful that we might be able to resolve the issue if we visit the centre again .. i will update this review as soon as we do . read more

The service in store is friendly and fairly quick. However the actual internet service is just average. It goes out regularly and if you're not on a promotional plan it's expensive for what you get. There's always a bunch of people at the store waiting for service. I get it's annoying to have to wait but obviously they need to serve customers in the order they come into the store. There are things that can be improved as far as in store service. The biggest of which is for people who are just returning equipment, the person checking people in should take care of that rather than having to wait for a representative along with everyone else in store. read more

He helped me navigate a change with my phone service last year, and accomplished feats that no one else was able to do (it was complicated!). I went into the store because I thought it would be a better experience than doing it over the phone, boy was I wrong. The person who helped me screwed up everything I asked of him. The biggest issue being I went in to move my service from my old house to a new home. Apparently he did not enter the stop order, and now Comcast is refusing to return my money that was taken via autopay for a home I no longer lived in, because of it. It was 3 months before I realized the money was coming out twice a month. I have tried multiple times over the phone to get this rectified and they are not bending. Worst customer service ever. Worst cellular service experience in my lifetime. And I'm 72 years old! Having been a customer for a couple of years, my wife and I were on the 'Share a gig' plan and decided to leap to Unlimited Data and she wanted to upgrade her iPhone 7. So we went in and upgrading the data plan was seemingly easy. It was a false flag. She went with an iPhone 11. Seems simple enough. The agent, though, didn't transfer the data from the first phone. He also never activated the phone. Two days later, frustrated, we returned the phone and asked that her iPhone 7 be reactivated. Returning the new phone took...get this...4 1/2 HOURS!! (At one point, the store manager said "Look, we're an internet and cable company. We don't really do phones.") And that was just the beginning which led us to switch back to Verizon. We ended our relationship with Xfinity on June 7th. We received a bill from Xfinity for service from June 7th to July 7th. PLUS, A BILL FOR THE IPHONE WE RETURNED. It took two weeks and five phone calls. Finally, someone competent tracked the iPhone to the warehouse and took that off our bill and then took June billing off our bill. So, we're done, right? Just got a bill for June 7th through July 7th for $14.95. And so it begins again. You do what you want, but let this harrowing tale be a warning of what to expect. read more

We hired Xfi service got home and didn't work, came back to get it fixed and we where told everything was ready ended up getting a technician 4 days after we hired the service, went back to get a new line phone but David was careless and like looking us down like if we were not as important as the "Americans" customers or maybe he thought we didn't just "had papers" FYI they don't help or give service unless you are a citizen! David did not only was horrible from the moment he started (he didn't even look at us at the eyes, something else in the surroundings was more important that addressing our concerns). The flyer said 60 a month we agreed on 90 a month and when the wonderful installer came they only had us for basic cable which I can get with my antenna for free. The offer was now 160 today. Visually this new store is beautiful. However, the staff is awful. I thought this would be better than the previous option on Shadeland which is a nightmare. Since they closed the store in Fishers it's just awful if you have to go in person for anything. I really hoped this new store would be different but the staff including managers here seem like they are very inconvenienced by the customers presence. Unfortunately if you want cable you must accept whoever services your area so there is no completion which makes customer service even worse. I've visited this location a few times over the years since it opened. I get much faster service here than at Comcast's previous locations throughout the city. I do hate that they downsized to only two locations, but they offer free shipping and many services via phone/Internet so a trip can be avoided most of time. I've haven't experienced any long wait times during my equipment drop offs or exchanges. The staff has always greeted me as soon as I arrived and friendly throughout the transaction. No real complaints other than my bill is too high,lol. read more
