When I called to learn why they simply said "oh I'm sorry but your promotion has expired, I'll try to find you a new one".... LIE! My bill was originally $73. It increased to $93, then increased to $113. When I called to dispute it, I was given a "new promotion" (absolute BS). I was told that my bill would go back to $73 and..... "rest assured everything is taken care of, no worries".... BS. My bill is now currently $93 because I was misinformed, my "promotion" was only a $20 discount not a $40 discount. I switched from an Android phone to an iPhone because big promises were made at the kiosk at Costco. I was told that the representative at Costco made a mistake and I would have to go to the store to get it corrected. Instead of very low monthly payments and a free phone, I'm paying $126.81 for ONE phone, not the approximately $40 that was promised. As I tried to learn to use the iphone I concluded that I should have stayed with Android. A family emergency took me out ot state and I tried to return my old phone at the xfinity store in Ringgold, Georgia. They could not process my return. I returned home and had immediate surgery that put me out of commission for 2+ months. When I finally was able to get to the store I was told that I had 15 days from receipt of the phone to return it. On November 17, 2025 $881.92 was taken from my bank account. As a senior living on social security only, this was a huge blow to my budget! After my long recouperation, which is not yet complete, I found my old phone in the box and ready to take to USPS. I did that and got a "thank you for returning the phone" email. I was hoping for a return of the $881.92 that was taken, but about 7 days later that same phone was returned to me. I truly believe that xfinity's business philosophy is unethical. Every time I have contacted them I've been treated disrespectfully. Xfinity is a shockingly dishonest provider and should be avoided at all costs I called Xfinity to give their services a try. I currently have Starlink at my home and have purchased a home in a nearby city. I spoke with an Xfinity agent on which services were offered and their pricing. I selected Internet services and cable TV. The agent advised that for $25 I could get a 30day trial and make the decision in 30 days as to which services I wanted to make permanent. The equipment arrived several days later and was simple to self install. The cable TV was difficult and I was never able to set it up. So I called back about 11 days after setting up my account to cancel the TV portion. At this time the agent told me I could pay only for the internet service. However the 30 day trial was only a week or so in. Yet Xfinity charged me an additional $208 (plus the initial $25 for the trial) on that day. I told them I felt this was baot and switch and the agent agreed and promised a ticket was now raised for refund of the $208. 2 weeks later I still have not received a refund and have not received any communication with Xfinity. So, I called Xfinity tonight, was put on hold for nearly 20 minutes, and then told there is no such thing as a trial period, the refund ticket was rejected, and they did not care if I stayed with Xfinity or not. There would be no further compensation. The agent said she didn't care what was promised and did not care if I took my business elsewhere. I will be transferring my Starlink services to my new home and canceling the Xfinity Internet services in the next days. I really expected more from Xfinity. But most businesses have taken the low road, deceit, apathy, and unethical practices these days. Xfinity included. read more

We needed our modem moved to another room so we started trying to schedule this with Xfinity through the app. Twice this was scheduled and once they cancelled without even telling us, and the second time they just didn't show. Once I mentioned that I would be reviewing them on Yelp we got a tech out within the week. Funny how that happened :) The tech was super friendly and did a great job for us. So while it took some work to get to the real people, once we did, the service was great. Xfinity: REALLY REALLY wants everything to be automated. But it can't. So be ready to blow them UP if you need service. Otherwise they seem to correct outages really fast and communicate well when this happens. Four stars. read more

I tried to call to talk about a billing issue and all the automated system would do is have me text with someone. I did not want to do the texting but had no other choice. This was very frustrating and took forever. Also their internet packages are a joke. We constantly get notified we are almost out of data and will be charged extra for going over. No other internet company we have used had a system set up like this. They just want to charge extra money for every little thing. Xfinity/Comcast is one of the most trash services to use for wifi. They Jack up the prices without warning for their users (it just shows up on the bill suddenly). They're slow to respond... but that's not even my big issue. I called 3 times for this company to disconnect my wifi services, and I have proof. Once on July 1st, 5 days before we move out, to put in a request. Then again on July 9th, after I notice that I'm going to be charged on July 22nd for $109 for wifi usage, and the guy assured me he will put in the request. THEN today, I see it's STILL not disconnected and I'm STILL getting charged! I call and she's able to disconnect me in 5 minutes, but then tells me that I'm going to be charged anyways until August 11th. I just stewed in silence, but I felt like cursing them out. I think all TV and internet providers have challenges but Comcast/Infinity is horrible in my opinion. We were with them for over 20 years and the price kept going up. But, we constantly saw ads for much lower rates if you moved to Comcast/Infinity. The service when you went to the store virtually always sucked and they would lie to you almost every time. I think they have a good infrastructure which is there only saving grace. I personally loathe everything about this company and think the leadership should all be fired. read more

We had an family emergency that we needed to go out of town and we tried to cancel our order and pick the phones ourselves and then we're told we couldn't do that until they are returned and they are returned to stock which they are. I called and was prepared for a lengthy discussion with ai before I could speak to a human. What I found was an insurmountable obstacle: an ai gatekeeper more inhumanly polite and more obtuse than the most veteran bureaucrat. Each prompt I followed and each word I said brought me one step higher on the M.C. Escher staircase that is the comcast automated pipeline. So many times I returned to the introductory menu with the only change being that there was less of my soul. Finally, I got something, it let me text a comcast agent! haha! But I haven't yet heard from them. I expected a reply yesterday afternoon. What I did get was a request to, "provide feedback on [my] most recent experience," So... The dreadful truth of it is that they have won. I am too tired to call again. I will not again enter their labyrinth. I may never know whether the charge they gave me was justified or not. If I could give zero stars I would. Cancelled my services, got charged a $70 cancellation fee. After paying, they proceeded to make unauthorized withdrawals of $98 from my account for the next two months. They claimed to send me a refund check that never came and I ended up having to dispute the charges on my bank account. It is cheaper than any other internet provider but you get much less reliable service and the customer service is terrible. Spend the extra $10 or $20 a month to get good internet service and a customer service rep that wants to help you, not screw you. read more

Internet service became available to our home after almost a year and Xfinity was the only option. We initially signed up for the TV and internet package and were told by 3 separate individuals we could drop the TV portion if we wanted before install and get a predetermined price. I requested they drop the TV portion and was told this would be done. The next day I saw I was still signed up for TV on my bill and they had not made the requested change. Now to complete my original request they say internet is going to be $10/month more expensive. I guess it is MY fault they didn't process the requested change and so now I have to pay extra for their mistakes. Internet speeds are fine but customer service is, to put it politely, completely horrendous. If you have any other options for internet in your area I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. read more

An underground wire that was not underground was cut by a lawn mower. It's near a ditch in the back yard right on the line between my neighbor's and my property. I still don't have service. I called days ago and was told someone would be out within 24 hours. No one came. I called back, and was told I never should have been told that, but someone would be out by 5/11 between 3 and 5. I missed a call a few minutes before 3. When I called back I had to repeat many times that I wasn't calling to pay my bill, only to be asked by the representative if I wanted to pay my bill. When I finally got put through to the right department, I was told that the service people were only minutes away. This was around 3:15. I called my job to let them know that I would be able to be in by 4:30. I waited until 4:30, but no one showed up. I got to work late. I tried to call about this, and after going through the same ridiculous process of repeatedly saying I wasn't calling to pay my bill, I finally got put through again to the right person. I am ready to cancel my service. This whole situation has been frustrating. I was told I needed to be here and pull any TV's 3 feet away from the wall where the line comes in. Why!? Nothing is wrong inside. You can show up and go to where I said it was located, and see the wire. read more

We took the xfinity bundle when we bought our home but realized that it was too expensive and down graded to internet only after the introductory period. They charged us for months for the full price and refused to refund anything. They are also very over priced. As soon as we find an alternative we will offer this company good riddance. read more
