Should have stuck with not trying but the curiosity got the best of me. I ordered their smaller sized Strawberry Boba Milk ($7.25) and maybe what ruined it was when I asked for Less Sugar. But the drink just tasted so watered down, like a Starbucks Pink Drink refresher than milk. The bubbles had little strawberry seeds infused, so that at least was cool to try. Love. Love. Love. The boba is so soft and chewy. You can definitely tell that they're home made. The softness and chewiness does not compare to any other boba store in NYC that I've had so far. The bubbles are the best thing here and I have yet to find any bubbles that are better since Xing Fu Tangs have opened in NYC. (Lmk if you've had something better, would love to try out your spot). I came with my friend after a foodie trip all over the Flushing, so this was a nice refreshing treat after all the Chinese food we ate. I ended up getting the Oolong Black Sesame drink which was their seasonal drink, and my friend got the regular Oolong Milk Tea with boba. The oolong was amazing. So so good as well as the boba. Mine was decent, but the oolong tea mixed with the black sesame didn't hit it all the way for me. It was okay overall. I think separately, the flavors would of been perfect, but together, it felt a little odd. But the overall boba was delicious of course. Of course, they're freshly made on spot and you can see it from the window; they are warm, tender and chewy. Being fresh, they don't fight back too much as you're chewing on them. DALGONA COFFEE Pretty good dalgona cream that they of course make in-house. Creamy, bold and they drizzle the cup with brown sugar to give it that sweetness dalgona coffee otherwise needs. If you weren't aware, dalgona was all the rage during early COVID popularized by korean creators. Their brown sugar syrup is on the toastier side, and deeply caramelized. You will taste it for sure. Also, get the ice cream over the milk tea for one of their more special items. The drinks themselves are pretty solid, though I prefer bubble tea at spots elsewhere as you can get more of a tea flavor at some other places. When you walk in, you can sometimes see employees making and shaping boba or scooping generous amounts into their cups. We ordered the brown sugar boba milk and the brown sugar boba soft serve. Their pearls are warm and incredibly chewy. I would recommend getting the brown sugar boba milk tea instead because the milk is really creamy and a little too rich for my taste. However, it's not overly sweet which is amazing. There are sometimes little bits of crunchy brown sugar from when you mixed it and that adds a bit of unique texture to the drink. The brown sugar soft serve was really good as well, not too sweet for an ice cream and tasted very similar to the brown sugar milk tea with more brown sugar. There are pearls on the bottom so make sure to mix. Eat it quick too, since the pearls are warm and melts the ice cream. Although the portions of both desserts were relatively small, they were quite filling too. They are both pretty rich and quality over quantity also applies.
