Honestly, the food here is quite affordable. I normally get the popcorn chicken + jasmine milk tea combo, where it's $1 off for this combo. The popcorn chicken tastes pretty good for the price of it, which is around $10 with tax. That, I think, is a steal around Milpitas. The jasmine milk tea is quite generic. It could be a powder that they use for the milk tea or actual tea but I wouldn't know. Either way, it isn't that bad. Definitely a mom and pop shop feeling. I haven't seen it get crowded, but I have seen a lot of people do take-out. tldr: fair priced bentos that taste good. Updated review, I'm willing to vouch honey express as a key location for Boba Milk Tea. I swung by here multiple times for a couple of key reasons. What looks like to be a small family joint is compensated for great value. The prices here are absolutely incredible. Every single item is affordable. To the point where it's relieving to know you aren't spending that much money? I'm always careful with places offering drinks at high prices, so honey express is superb for that. Added to this are the generous portion sizes. The drinks for example, have no small, medium, or large. Each drink comes in its own generous fairly larger size regardless of the requested ice level. No up charge for a bigger size? Super cool. Taste wise this joint is good, it's fairly better than the majority of locations around San Jose. It's ~$14 or so I believe and adequate portions meaning I usually can't finish it in one setting! You can order via Snackpass. I really like the regular milk tea (no boba) - it's kind of nostalgic. Reminds me of when you're in high school and there are mom and pop boba places that serve drinks at $4-5. About a 3.5/5 at the time, which I will round up only because of service + pricing. Otherwise boba wise they seem fairly average. Service/Workers 5/5 - it did take a while for our drinks to be made but she was carefully measuring out the ingredients which was nice. She also ensured that the seal on the lids was perfect as I'm sure all boba fans have had a leaky seal at least once. Its definitely not fun if you don't find out until you're sitting in a car and shaking it. Pricing 4/5 - They beat out most of their competitors with drinks averaging 5-6 which is great since the Bay is seeing 7-8 now with a lot of popular spots being franchised up here. Ambiance 3.5/5 - Kinda small quaint seating I guess. Small speaker hidden playing some pop music. Parking (?) - Seems ample but this plaza seems kinda sketchy at night time, although being next to a gym probably helps. Boba Milk Tea 3.5/5 - Definitely nothing special but at the same time not bad. Realistically it felt a bit overly milky but would come back if I'm in the area and craving boba. Boba was cooked fairly well and had flavor to it, and tea itself is a bit weak if it's even there. I'm so happy another boba place opened up near me! This boba place is also very accessible compared to other shops, as it is located in a plaza with plenty of parking that's not too busy. I love it when it's easy for me to get good boba! The shop is very peaceful and provides decent seating. The server here was attentive and prepared our drinks quite quickly, and this was during their first few days of opening as well. I have only been here once so far, but it looks like they have a wide variety of drink options on their menu. They also provide some snacks to eat as well. I got the mango milk tea, and it did not disappoint. The consistency was a bit thick for a milk tea and was more like a smoothie. Absolute fan of their fruit tea's. I have tried a few different boba spots around the South Bay, but this was the best one I have gone to for fruit tea's. The food was not out of this world, but it was not bad either. I would rate their food as average to slightly above average. However, again the tea definitely brings Honey Express's rating up in my book. I always ordered ahead and there was never any issue in picking up my food or drinks. The service was quick and I was given everything I needed such as straws and utensils. Additionally, the workers were always very kind and made sure that I was getting everything I had ordered. Honey Express is located in the Foothill Square plaza and have taken over where Sancha Bar was. Plenty of parking here, as it seems like a quieter plaza. Exterior and interior a bit simple, but they do have a cute cup logo. Ordering is through the kiosk or on the app - it was nearly empty when I visited, so I received my drink fairly quickly. I ordered their Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba. Decent drink, not as creamy as I would had liked it to be with a slight bitter aftertaste. You can placed your order by using a self service kiosk or by cash. For drinks I chose watermelon ice tea regular ice 30% sweetness large size cup for $5.75 and for meals minced pork rice bowl $9.99 and six pieces of takoyaki balls $7.75. I wouldn't mind having minced pork rice bowl again generous portion fresh veggies and a slice of egg. They also sell rice bowls, onigiri/masubi, street snacks, and milk tea/boba drinks. Their bowls and bentos (whether discounted or not) are reasonably priced. Service is friendly. This is a very small restaurant with a few tables. Located in a plaza next door to Burrito Express and Little Caesars. I ordered to-go due to the heat wave we're having in the Bay Area right now. Having the restaurant door propped open for cooling purposes means gnats and flies inside, which is my pet peeve. read more

This is my one of my favorite tea and snack places in the area. I come here occasionally before or after going to the Gold's Gym next door (which I also recommend). Their tea actually tastes like tea rather than artificially flavored sugar water that many places sell nowadays. I've come here 3 times now and feel I can write an accurate review for the business. Popcorn chicken bento box is tasty and always freshly made with generous serving of chicken. The chicken is seasoned well and they also have pepper & chili pepper shakers if you want to spice things up. Boba milk tea has strong tea taste and not overly sweet. None of that watered down stuff! But I must say the winter melon oolong tea doesn't have any taste of tea, so that was a little disappointing. The wait for food for the most part isn't very long. There's a kiosk for you to place your order so interaction with staff is minimal. But when the order is ready, the staffs have been friendly and will sometimes deliver the bento box to your table, which I appreciate. There's a few tables inside for dine-in customers and usually it isn't crowded because it seems like most people either order to-go, or through Uber Eats. They have a good selection of food & drink offerings and I hope this small business is here to stay so I can visit every so often. read more

Food is good! Place is a bit small, more ideal for quicker eating sessions. Drinks range from mid to fine in my opinion but I think that is perfectly proper for this location as this specific store has alternated between mid boba places, perfect for the kids in the nearby schools who aren't too picky and just want a sweet treat.
