I came on a Friday night around 7:30 pm and the store had a couple customers inside. There's a kiosk to order from, and we got our orders relatively quickly. I got the seasonal mango cream smoothie with jelly pearl and grapefruit jelly. I paid more to get the reusable bottle - what can I say, I'm a sucker for something reusable. The bottle itself is not the largest, especially for the price you're paying. But I will say, they were quite generous with the toppings inside, and everything tasted fresh. The mango and grapefruit flavors were quite prominent, and I loved how every sip got the drink plus all the toppings. I had dinner with friends, and since we were in Koreatown, I knew I had to revisit this spot. Tanghulu has been all over social media, and the last time I tried it here, it was fantastic. They have a self-service kiosk where you can place and pay for your order, and within minutes, it's ready. I went for the strawberry tanghulu again, and it did not disappoint. The candy coating was perfectly crisp, and the sweetness was just right--such a satisfying treat to end the night. I've tried both their Matcha Panna Cotta and Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta. Tbh, I didn't really like their Matcha Panna Cotta since it was pretty bitter. It just didn't seem high quality and was lowkey kind of bland. Would not get that again. I recommend their Strawberry Latte Panna Cotta since that is decent. The strawberry one is kinda grainy with seeds (which I don't mind) and I love the panna cotta bits at the end. Machi Machi's first United States location is in NYC located in 33 W 32nd Street and shares space with Jongro Rice Hotdog, Tanghulu, and Mochi Mochi Donut. When you walk in, there are 3 chairs on the left against the wall and self checkout kiosks on the right to use and order. Machi Machi is famous for its fresh teas, cream cheese foam, and milk teas. I ordered a Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea with Panna Cotta. The ice level was fixed, but you can adjust the sugar levels. I waited about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. I think it'll be a better system to have the order number displayed instead of saying the order number at the pickup window. This would give you the flexibility to order from the other places down the hallway and roam around in the space. The Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea with Panna Cotta comes in a special Machi Machi bottle. I never had panna cotta with matcha and it was a wonderful combination. The matcha was high quality and complemented the creamy sweetness of the panna cotta. I enjoyed every sip. One of my favorite places in k-town for their cute panna cotta bottled drinks. It's a small, grab and go place that's also conjoined with another Korean corn dog shop and a mochi donuts shop. Once you enter, you'll need to order at one of the three kiosks located on the right side of the establishment. After entering your phone number, you'll receive a text notification when your drink is ready. Note that there are multiple kiosks, including one outside (which I believe is specifically for the corn dog shop.) (if you see lines form on busy days, make sure you're on the correct line). Service tends to be faster on weekdays, while weekends are typically busier. I recently tried their new, limited-time corn milk tea and absolutely loved the concept and presentation. They were generous with the corn and cream, defs a must-try if you're a fan of sweet, creamy corn with a subtle tea flavor, or if you're simply looking to try something new. Another thing to note is that this drink feels more lukewarm than hot after being mixed with the colder corn cream. If you're a boba/milk tea aficionado then Machi Machi is a must-try. I initially came across Machi Machi whilst searching for boba in the area. I bookmarked them so hard. I was lured in by the aesthetically pleasing drinks in a rectangular bottle. I was most intrigued by the 2 toned drink which had panna cotta on the bottom. Milk tea and panna cotta sounded like a pretty delicious combo. I made my way here on a cold Tuesday afternoon and the shop wasn't busy at all. The shop looks pretty minimalist-esque with 3 floating chairs and art on the wall. There's also a few other grab and go shops towards the back where you can get korean hot dogs and other small bites. They're not a place to sip and chill, but more so grab and gtfo. The oversized paper menu is located next to the pick up window. They have a good selection of drinks such as fresh tea, milk tea, fresh fruit teas and teas with cheese. There's a screen showcasing the popular drinks and what they look like, which is helpful if you're indecisive. Not all drinks come in the reusable bottle so you'll have to look for the small icon on the menu that indicates if it'll be included. I ordered from one of the three kiosks, since no human was available to provide service. I went with a simple black milk tea with panna cotta and hot damn it was expensive. I think this is the most expensive drink I've bought. I believe I paid almost $10 for this drink. I for damn sure was going to reuse the crap out of the rectangular bottle. Anyways, the wait time for the drink was a tad bit long, especially since there was 3 people ahead of me. Once my order was up, the guy wiped down the bottle and asked if I wanted a carrying bag, which I gleefully accepted. The bag had their logo and sprinkle detailing all over it. I reused it, too. I wasn't able to drink the tea the same day because I had already bought boba from a different place and needed to finish it first (Biao Sugar a block down from Machi, lol). I took a straw to it the following day and I was impressed by the milk tea taste and the smoothness of the panna cotta. I could taste the tea in the milk and the panna cotta complimented it nicely. It wasn't too sweet nor too bland. The panna cotta was creamy and easily sipped up into the straw. I made sure to get every piece of cotta out of the bottle and get every drop of the milk tea. It was a pretty good treat to enjoy on my way to the port of airs. Overall, I enjoyed my drink and I appreciate my bottle, though it can be a challenge to clean. The quality of the drink was top draw and the most costly I've had. If I come across another location, I'll of course have to stop on by to try other teas. Machi Machi would make a great addition in the Bay Area, though already saturated with boba places they would stand out a bit from the crowd. read more

They share a space with a Korean corn dog place so the pick-up counter can be a bit congested when it's busy. You order and pay at one of the 3 kiosks and pick up your drink at the counter when your number is called. The "I love you so machi" neon light is cute, but aside from that, the walls were pretty barren. There's only one small bench and no tables.
