We were in Hudson Yards earlier tonight and it was my first time in the mall. I have been to Xing Fu Tang a few years ago, this location was the first one I have seen it so busy in a mall. I didn't get a chance to go into the store. By the time we were leaving, I know how popular Xing Fu Tang is. My brother in law got me a Mango Passionfruit Green Tea, large, less ice. The taste was sweet All payments are accepted. If you order in store, be prepared to wait in lone.

I love XFT! I think I'd say it's currently my favorite boba milk shop bc they do the brown sugar boba milk tea so much better, and i think they're the only ones making the boba pearls fresh daily which would also make sense. Not as customizable as a lot of other shops, tho and they don't have as many topping/add-in options either but I'm pretty basic in that regard soooo... It's consistent every time, service is friendly and fast, + I love all of the collabs / special promos / events, like the Lunar New Year promo recently. so fun! I had to grab one of their adorable pins for my junk journaling bag tooo.

I am a sucker for a good bubble tea and after walking by to see their team freshly making their boba, I knew I had to try this again! (I used to work in the building and came here often) Went with a matcha bubble tea, even with only 25% sweet, it was still a little too sweet for my taste but I loved the boba. Great chew and very good taste.

I stopped by Xing Fu Tang while traveling to Manhattan for work, and it instantly made me feel at home. I've never not loved Xing Fu Tang. Being from Taiwan, boba just makes me happy. Especially true when it's from a boba shop that originally comes from Taiwan. They're famous for their handmade brown sugar boba, and as always, the boba here was soft, warm, and perfectly chewy. It brought back all the familiar flavors I grew up with. In Taiwan, I actually think Xing Fu Tang is a bit too sweet, and that still holds true for me here. Even when I ask for no sugar, it still leans sweet for my personal taste. But honestly, for most people who love sweet drinks, it's perfect. When I'm in the mood for something sugary and comforting, this really hits the spot. For everyday boba, it's a little sweeter than what I prefer, but it still makes me smile every time. Anyway, if you have not tried it, do it! ;)

Their brown sugar milk tea has NO TEA in it

I don't know if I ever drank so little of a bubble tea drink. I opted for a small brown sugar bubble tea. I only drank 1/3 of it and that's on top of light ice added to the drink. They charge extra if you opt for no ice. Their prices are high. It costs 8.70 for a small and then $2 more for a large. When comparing to SF Bay Area bubble tea prices. $8.70 could get you a large sized bubble tea in the Bay Area. The brown sugar milk tea has absolutely no tea. I asked the staff after placing my orders if the drink has any tea. With these basic flavor and price point, this isn't it. Also I find it very misleading marketing when it says Taiwan number one. It is definitely nothing close to the best brown sugar boba in Taiwan as it likes to market itself.

Finally got around to trying Xing Fu Tang after hearing so much hype about it for the longest time. Overall, it's quite pricey even across different boba brands and I'm not sure if I'd come back. Part of it is my fault because I ended up choosing the Dalgona topped brown sugar milk boba tea - the dalgona cream they use is very heavy and dense and they definitely don't shy away from giving you a big portion of it - if you look at my photo, the cream probably took up 1/4 of my entire drink. It was way more bitter than I expected, so even though my first few sips were pretty good since it was mixed in with the really sweet milk tea, by the end of my drink, the dalgona became too overpowering. The boba is definitely on the chewier side, which they're known for, but again, I think I had higher expectations just based on the hype I'd heard about this brand. If I were to come back, I think I'd try one of their fruit teas instead! One other thing was that the workers told me their student ID discount (~15% if I'm remembering correctly) is only valid on weekdays... which makes no sense to me lmao

The fresh brown boba is to die for! It is freshly made. The bobas are still warm! This is the best brown boba drink ever! Nothing compares to this at other boba shops! The mango passion fruit was very good but not as good as the brown sugar boba! Service was quick. The prices are comparable to other boba shops in NYC. But a little pricey compared to NJ. I posted the fresh warm bobas in the big wok!

Taro Boba Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Boba Milk

Every time we visit Hudson Yards, this is one of my daughter's favorite stops and now I can see why. On this visit, we ordered a large Brown Sugar Boba, which was rich, creamy, and full of that perfect caramelized flavor. We also tried a small Taro Boba Milk Tea, and I personally enjoyed it a lot smooth, lightly sweet, and just the right texture. There's a small seating area that fills up quickly, but if you're lucky, you might grab a spot. One fun and unique detail: on the left side as you're waiting in line, there are drawers built into the wall. I've seen a lot of people opening them out of curiosity. I didn't check them myself this time, but I definitely will next time. It doesn't seem like there's any charge to explore them just a fun part of the experience. The staff is always friendly and professional, even during busy hours which is most of the time. They handle each order with care and speed. Highly recommend stopping by and trying a different drink each visit Xing Fu Tang is more than just a bubble tea spot; it's a mini adventure every time.

Friendly staff, and free upgrade to large if you're a Wells Fargo customer/worker! Classic brown sugar boba tea is solid. Not too sweet which is nice. Located on second floor of the Hudson Yards mall.

Rough experience here. They charged me for two drinks and only gave me one. I hate to wait 25 minutes from order to receiving the drink. The drink had ice large enough to go through the straw and ruin the drinking experience. I wouldn't come back here.

One of the best bubble teas I've ever had. I mean, they make the boba fresh and it's still warm when you get your order. You really can't beat that. The strawberry boba was lightly sweet at normal level. The Thai tea was a teeny bit sweet but absolutely delicious. Will definitely need to return.

The drinks here aren't terrible but I definitely think they're overrated (at least at this location). The boba quality was significantly harder than it should be and the prices were significantly higher than they should be (which to be honest should be expected given that it's at the base of the Vessel). The Strawberry boba milk and Strawberry Green Tea were pretty decent except for the boba texture but I wouldn't recommend the oreo boba milk.

Xing Fu Tang is located inside a mall by the Hudson Yard. Thankfully they are inside an air conditioned location because that summer heat is no joke, so a drink was in order. Unfortunately, they don't have any non-dairy milk options so I went with a fruit tea in this case. Opting for their Passion Fruit Green Tea with Brown Sugar Boba, I found myself actually really being into the fruit based tea and seeing them scoop from a giant wok of boba meant your drink was fresh indeed. A bit on the pricier end compared to other boba shops but to have a wonderful option inside a mall is fine by me.

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil.
