I wasn't feeling a super heavy tea but wanted to check out their tofu pudding. Besides the hint of tofu flavors, I liked how it was silken but had a slight chewiness to it. The taro was fresh and had a mix of paste vs cubes. Both toppings were easy to mix with the milk and I liked the textural contrast. Literally the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The person taking our order could not have been more irritated by our existence, he was huffing and puffing, mumbling, wouldn't even look directly at us. When I asked him if I was able to add an ingredient to my tea he said, and I quote, "that depends on you"....what does that even mean??? To top it all off both orders were not only bad, but actively disgusting -they tasted like they were made with dirty dish water. I truly wish I could give negative amounts of stars as this description barely scratches the surface of how bad this experience was. A wholesome hidden gem! When we went to visit, we had the pomelo mango fruit tea and the strawberry mochi drink, and they were just right. Another Boba Tea shop crossed off my list. I was really impressed with the drinks I ordered and will definitely be back for future boba purchases. I came here with my gf and she ordered the Purple Yam Milk Tea ($5) while I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50). They're made to be consumed immediately, so once you receive your drink, you're supposed to swirl the boba in the drink with your straw for a good 10 seconds or so. This is to give the boba that soft chewy texture from getting into contact with the cold milk tea while the boba is still served hot. My drink is more like a 3 out of 5 but this is a great spot if you're craving milk tea or that sort not that there are any other better options without a long walk. The good thing is there are some seats inside so you can chill with your drink! I got the Hawaiian Tea with Cheese Foam cause it was my first time seeing this tea on a menu before. Not my type of tea but enjoyable enough with my favorite cheese foam on top - the tea had floral hints though it wasn't sweet. I know where to go now for a drink if I'm nearby at least! Another long very hard work day has ended and time to chill with bubble tea. Also another bubble tea business patronized to check the box. It was a very hot humid muggy July evening in New York. Cheese foam fruit tea appears to be a very popular trend cropping in the bubble tea industry as it intensely dominates the Moge Tee drink menu. Unfortunately, this business does not offer my default favorite Jasmine green tea for fruit tea category. Ergo, I decided on fresh lemon green tea $6.25, herbal jelly $0.50, and 30% light sugar for in large size. It was entirely too lemon-ish as there were actual fresh lemon and lime fruit skins embedded in my drink. The lemon mixed together with lime emit a excessively sour taste. The menu does not state lime but only lemon, thus suddenly lime appeared and embedded in my drink without my request as a customer for that option. I surely do NOT want milk or extra sugar as a repair to offset this excessive sour taste. Squat! Aija, can a maintenance worker repair my drink that is O/O/O? The drink menu needs to be re-written for detailed accurate clarity rather than misconception and misleading information. The definitive underwriting in the menu emits only confusion and misleading misconception. The herbal jelly was very minuscule and very minimal. The ice completely melted by the time I walked to the nearest subway station. Augh, I want more ice! Moge Tee left me in jeremiad with profound grief! Dismay. Utter slough of despond. Dispirited. Customer service is average. Life is warier!! This business is located on First Avenue and East 22nd Street in Stuyvesant Town, NY. So i don't really know what's good, and the cashier was very nice and helpful she asked me what do i usually get from other store and how sweet i like. Based on that she did alot of recommendation, this gives me the feeling that they really know what they are selling. So i got fruit tea, and it taste really good, it has alot of fruits in it, and i lowered the sugar percent into 50% and it's just right for my taste. I've been counting on Möge lately for my boba fix and they have not disappointed. They're known for their fruit teas, but today I was in the mood for a brown sugar milk tea. I ordered it with Creme brulee and it was amazing -the boba was perfectly sweet and soft and the Creme brulee added an amazing texture to the drink. The shop itself is cute too. They have a few tables for indoor seating, but seem to do a lot of to go or delivery orders too. Either way, the service was amazing. I love boba, but I'm not a big cheese foam person. I got the matcha milk drink, which wasn't very matcha-y, the match seemed to only be on the sides of the cup. So when I drank it, it mostly tasted like milk. Also, this place is pretty expensive. If you're into milky, cheese foam drinks, this place is good for you, but not my cup of tea. I've gotten the regular bubble tea before, and it wasn't very strong in my opinion, more milk than tea. It's a small cute place and drinks are instagramable. I ordered Taro milk tea after finishing up some things that I had to do for my job at the Veteran Affairs hospital, so I figured I would treat myself with an order of bubble tea since the shop is almost next door to the VA. However, I should have known better since no one was in there ordering but me, and the person that was there before me didn't appear to order and walked out on his phone. Nonetheless, it didn't seem like the young lady knew how to make Taro milk tea because it was warm, the substance was not mix well resulting in a cake batter texture and it was just nasty, so I threw it in the trash on my way to the 6 train since I didn't want to take a chance of getting sick from it (I tried to drink it as one cab see). This was the worst bubble tea I've ever had in my life, and I've tried bubble tea in various places from within the U.S. to outside of it, etc. I really didn't know anyone could mess up making subpar bubble tea, but I learned that people can yesterday. I will stick to Tiger Sugar or even Kung Fu Tea. I ordered my GF dissert from Moge Tee before so maybe the cakes are better than the drinks since she said the dessert that I ordered from the one in Brooklyn was okay.
