Wooooow! Never crave for skewers before in my life. Bieber said never say never. Someone said these skewers are better than any expensive steak. Couldn't agree more! We only sampled the chicken, beef, and lamb. All spiced up. We waited about 15 mins for them. I realized people placed a big order and come back after a bit of shopping. What a pro move. I never regret anything in my life. I regret not ordering more! The skewers were godly! I can't describe it but one bite can take you to heaven. Super flavorful! So glad to have tapped into this xinjiang bbq game. Can't wait to come back for more!!

Skewers are such a childhood snack for me; whenever the Chinese New Year Festival came about, I would think about how much BBQ Chicken Skewers could I eat in a night. But with inflation, it wasn't really worth getting even one skewer for the night.... Stumbling on this cart in New York was such a dream because the prices were so reasonable and the vast variety they had was crazy! If we didn't have other meal plans for the day, I would of tried one of everything! The true winner of the skewers was defintely the lamb! All the reviews said that even if you don't like lamb, you would love theirs and I could see why. The gaminess was not prominent whatsoever and my friend who does not care for lamb wanted more! I really wished I could of bought back a dozen sticks back home for my friends who hate lamb just to see their reactions as well -sigh- why is New York so far from Hawaii...

Wooow. I spontaneously stopped here and it was so worth it. Squid Skewer: 5/5 - Had the perfect texture and amount of spice (it's on the spicy side for sure) Lamb Skewer: 5/5 - Perfectly seasoned as well We approached the line and soon after someone asked us for our order. Unfortunately we were behind some large orders so even though we only ordered two skewers (We wanted to just try it out first) we waited maybe 20 minutes for it to be done. Not really an ideal wait time for two sticks so we started to get a bit skeptical. However after the first bite we knew it was worth it, and we wish we'd ordered more. The line got too long so we left, however we're definitely coming back to get more and try other skewers too.

Loved the lamb and chicken heart skewers here but really did not like the beef tendon. Lamb and chicken heart were so perfectly smokey and juicy, I believe it was $1.75 each (cash only). But beef tendon was v different from beef tendon skewers I've had at other Chinese bbq places - it was really tough and stringy, couldn't chew it at all and was overloaded with sauce.

This place is bomb. We come here every time we visit Flushing because the skewers are just so good. Prices are very reasonable (~$2/skewer), they're grilled-to-order, and you can choose between spicy and non-spicy options. We usually order the lamb skewers and ask for them spicy - they're always perfectly seasoned and hot off the grill. Heaven!

Cheap ($1.75), fast and delish. They used real charcoal to get that smokey texture & flavor. The chicken was moist & tender, the lamb was slightly over cooked so it was more tough, thankfully there were enough fatty parts to keep it juicy. Its located right in front of the Paris Baguette in the Queens Crossing. We still prefer the bbq cart at prince/Roosevelt a bit more as the lamb was fattier & juicier for 25 cents less.

This is my new to go snack place, the cart is located across from Paris Baguette Bakery.my fave are chicken and beef tendon. The meats cook right, they trimmed the burn side. You can order spicy or regular. Waiting time is okay because I came on Saturday afternoon. Definitely will order again.

as others have mentioned, this bbq cart is actually located across from the paris baguette. the skewers here are delicious - the barbeque coating is just so good and savory and cumin-y. the lamb and beef skewers were both perfectly cooked too. at $2 a pop these are the perfect street eat as you're wandering around flushing.

Sometimes the simplest of foods, when done right, are truly the best. Xinjiang BBQ cart does bbq right and if you are blessed to come across the dude who makes them, do yourself a favor and drop by to get yourself some. Even after being full of eating all around Flushing, I couldn't resist helping myself to a skewer once I smelled the well-seasoned meat over a flaming charcoal grill. There seems to be several bbq options, but I just went with the lamb. And within a few quick minutes, he gets them out to you and can make it spicier upon request. Yes, some of the pieces of meat were pretty fatty, but I'm not going to pretend like I didn't enjoy it because I did haha. At $1.50 per skewer, I'll definitely be back to treat myself to some more Xinjiang BBQ.

Delicious bbq with a fair price. Waits can be really long if you are coming right when they setup, but still worth it. Meats are juicy and delicious. There are 4-5 carts in the area that sell something similar so if you want to go specifically to this place, compare the signs and menus.

Two words: cheap (less than $2) and delicious! The yelp map doesn't work and it's actually in front of the paris baguette in flushing but you'll be able to find it by smell and a crowd of people with scewers. The owners don't speak english but pointing worked pretty easily! Definitely get the lamb skewers and the squid!chicken gizzard was not bad either. Don't be afraid to get 5 per person because you will end up back in line after one. There is usually about 10~15 mins wait but it moves fast and is worth it. Will come back to flushing just for this!

The smell is immaculate and the seasoning on the food is on point. I got the lamb and squid, and it was extremely flavorful. To get there, don't use the yelp map. Type in Paris baguette into maps, and it's across the street to the side of the store (not in front of the store). It's next to a large parking lot. I highly recommend visiting for a quick snack or meal, and I will be back.

Where is the truck now? I heard all the food trucks were banned. :( This was my favorite "meat on a stick" cart! Waaaaaah!

Yes, I'm wondering the same. Where are all the food carts??

Are they only open on certain days? The last two times I came out to Flushing, I couldn't find the cart. Please advise as I am desperately craving some delicious lamb/lamb kidney skewers!

I was originally told they operate in the evenings, usually found on prince street near Nan Xiang XLB but I've seen them on 39TH and Main Street (next to the eggies mini cakes uncle) too during day hours. There's another vendor that does the meat… Read more

Though true Xian food is usually halal, I believe that this cart is not. I do recommend that you ask the folks at the cart, to be sure. Still the seafood and veg choices are quite good and really tasty. Enjoy!
