    christmas lights and decorations

If you're looking for a place to get you into the holiday spirit, you've found it! Loved all the kitschy decor. Lots of photo ops if you love doing things for the 'gram. There's a special holiday cocktail menu available until 10 pm. Once you get past the decorations and theme, it's your standard bar with a dancefloor. The bathroom of hallways was interesting... some doors didn't close or have door knobs on the inside. On the night we went, the DJ was playing old skool hip hop and kept the vibe going. Everyone there was dancing and kept the drinks flowing.

Enjoyed our visit to Xmas Bar on the day after Thanksgiving. It's a brand new Xmas Pop Up Bar this year. Thought it was very spacious and I was happy with all of the xmas decorations. I feel like they have a good amount and a lot more by the restrooms. The drink price I thought was pretty steep but I was happy with my drink - Santa's Lil Helper. The alcohol really crept up to me unexpectedly bc it tasted so good. The music was just ok. Perhaps bc it was earlier in the night. Definitely a cute festive spot to grab a drink. Service was fine. Bartender took my drink quickly and my drinks came out right afterwards even when it was busy with a lot of people waiting at the bar.

This was so cute! And based off other Christmas themed pop ups in the Tampa Bay area, the prices for drinks were great but they HAVE to get the AC blasting next year. How ironic, sweating your butt off at a Christmas themed bar lol welcome to Florida!

My drink was pretty good, but way overpriced. The service was horrible and the vibe was a little strange. The decorations are super cute, but the workers were just not the friendliest and there were some weird things going on. They also were out of almost all of their drinks, and continued to serve one of their drinks without the main ingredient and without warning people before they spent like $15 on it. It's a cute idea but not executed well.

This bar is your first stop when you're ready for the holidays. There's so much happiness going on with all the festive decorations! My friends and I loved the cozy fireplace area! The cocktails were great even without the available edible glitter. I will be back!

I came here around 10pm to get Christmas themed drinks, turns out they stop serving them at a certain time.

We took a walk to get a few breakfast items. Very long. We started our Saturday morning with a nice…read morewalk to grab coffee and breakfast, and it was the perfect way to kick off the day. We ordered two large coffees, two ham, egg, and cheese open-faced croissants, and a blueberry scone. I wasn't used to having a breakfast sandwich served open-faced, but I'm officially a fan now. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and paired perfectly with the ham, egg, and cheese. Every bite was delicious. The coffee was exactly what we needed to start the morning, and everything together made for a fantastic breakfast. If you're looking for a cozy spot with fresh pastries, great coffee, and a relaxing way to start your weekend, this is definitely worth a visit.

The pizza may have been the worst slice of pizza I have had in the last decade. It should have been thrown out hours earlier, but they sold it to us anyways. The tea was served so hot and was bitter. The person making the drinks didn't k ow what they were doing, and it shows. This is on management/ I'm sure somebody called out sick and this person was clearly not trained. The result is a $6 drink that was not drinkable. The turkey sandwich was very good, and is the only reason this isn't one star. I wish the house made chips were less salty as they were not enjoyable. All in all, I would bypass this place at all costs if there is a line. Pastries looked great- if you just went for a dessert, I think you would be happy.

We found Baked in the Burg looking for Maddie's Cakes on Google Maps. Immediately, we realized that…read morethis was not the business we'd looked at online, but decided to give it a try. To start, Maddie's Cakes indicated that it opened at 5pm, leading us to believe that it serviced the late-night coffee-and-pastries crowd. Baked in the Burg opens at 10am and closes at 7pm, and has a very different vibe than what we were expecting. The pastries are definitely meant to be the star of the show, but they were mislabeled (labeled as chocolate pistachio but only chocolate was available), and the baristas knew very little about the product. Speaking of the baristas, although they were very friendly, they clearly were woefully lacking in training. I ordered a chai tea, and one of the baristas asked the other, "Do you know how to make that?" Additionally, my mom ordered a coffee, and when she asked if the brew coffee sitting on the hot plate was fresh, the barista answered, "It was made this morning [seven hours prior to our visit], but it's been on the hot plate." My mom had to ask for a fresh pot to be made, because apparently no one told these poor girls how disgusting coffee is after seven hours on a hot plate. To their credit, though, they were extremely friendly and accommodating, and did their best to answer all of our questions. I just think they need more training. As far as the pastries are concerned, we were so disappointed that we ended up going to Sorrento Sweets right up the street. Skip Baked in the Burg and head to Sorrento's if you want a high-quality bakery experience.
