Pleasantly surprised! After a bit of a wait on a Monday night (the place was poppin'), I ordered the Trio Shrimp, my daughter ordered the Ahi tacos and we shared the guacamole. We both were gobsmacked. We're from California and have had very, very good Mexican food on multiple occasions. This was at that caliber - even better! I went here while in town for work with a colleague. After reading reviews we decided to give it a try. When we arrived the host sat us quickly and our waitress brought waters right away. Your meal comes with complimentary chips and salsa which tasted fresh and the salsa had a nice kick. I ordered the chicken fajitas which came with all the normal sides. Eveything was bountiful but the chicken was tough and the flavors were flat. After the waitress left our meal, she didn't return. We waited so long we asked someone if they could help us get water and the check. They said they would let our waitress know but she still didn't return for a while. If our waitress would have been available I would have asked for some lime. I think the extra acid would have helped add freshness. Still, I would give the place another try as this could have been an off night. Nextime I would plan for earlier in the day and a different entree. My wife went for a work lunch event and was absolutely floored by the place so she insisted we go. I'm Always skeptical of a Mexican food restaurant in Great falls! We don't have the greatest track record. Xochitl (So- Chill) had to overcome my bias and well... they absolutely did. And after our fourth visit, I still haven't found anything I didn't like. First time we went I had a combo platter, it was plentiful and delicious. The second time we went, I had the skirt Carne Asada. This has been my favorite so far. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked and the peppers, onions, beans and rice all on the side were delicious as well. The third time, I had the brisket street tacos, again Excellent. Last time we went at lunch and I just had the pork belly bites appetizer... these are addictive! Only things I can say on the not-so-positive side is there isn't much space for a large party so maybe keep your party small. On an up note, it gives you a chance to come back again with your other friends and family to try more of the delicious food. We are from out of town we live in Vermont, so we don't have opportunity for amazing Mexican food. That being said we did live in Mexico for a year and this place is absolutely incredible. I would travel to Great Falls just to eat here the flavors added in every food are absolutely mind blowing! If you know, good Mexican, then you cannot pass this out. Came here on a whim on a Monday and it was PACKED - come to find out they had just opened. Since I was just one they were able to seat me at the bar (although I don't think it's usually first come first served). While I waited for my drink chips and salsa were brought out. The menu is pretty large but prices I thought were reasonable. I got a steak dish with queso onions mushrooms and rice. While the flavors were great it was a touch salty and the steak was a little overdone. The portion size was huge though. I plan to go back again soon! read more

Got to this restaurant at 4pm and the margaritas were great. Our server said he had only been a server anywhere for 3 months but he was great. The food was pretty good but they were soooo busy. The setting is industrial and the noise factor was horrific. You could not talk in normal conversation and be heard across the table. Have visited twice for dinner so far and I am amazed at the smooth and efficient service while the team is dealing with the crowds that accompany a new restaurant opening! The menu has many options for familiar and new foods. The wait staff are smiling and friendly and efficient. The food is served quickly and has been excellent. The restaurant is very attractively done. Maybe the only thing I would ding them on is the loud music combined with the happy sounds of a full restaurant. My experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I visited twice. During my first visit, both the food and the service were very good. Unfortunately, my second visit was completely different. While I was eating, I asked the server for a paper napkin. She responded by saying that I already had a cloth napkin and questioned why I needed another one. I politely explained that I preferred a paper napkin and mentioned that another server had provided one during my previous visit. She did not respond and behaved in a dismissive manner. About five minutes later, while I was still eating, she brought me the check and placed it on my table without saying anything. It was not a busy time--it was neither a weekend nor a rush hour--so I felt as though I was being told to leave as quickly as possible. After I finished my meal, I asked to speak with someone because I wanted to express my concerns. I did not realize at first that I was speaking with the restaurant manager. I explained what had happened with the napkin and also mentioned that bringing the check while I was still eating felt rude and unwelcoming. Instead of listening to my concerns, the manager became visibly upset and told me that this was normal practice and that if I did not like it, I could simply leave. I have never experienced such dismissive and unprofessional customer service at a restaurant. The way my concerns were handled was far more disappointing than the original issue itself. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. read more

I'll start with the food because it was good and priced well. I order the Grande burrito, which was large enough to share. It tasted good and I like it. However, I wouldn't say it was great because it lacked balance. The ambiance was more like a sports bar than a restaurant. I guess in that respect so was the food, being good but not great. It was so loud in the place that it was difficult to hold a conversation. So, if you're expecting an elevated sports bar, you'll love this place. Now for the reason that I rated it so low. The people working the welcome desk seemed to busy to talk to us. Why? Because it appears that joking with their coworkers is their job. There were no available tables and appear to be annoyed that I would be happy to wait for one instead of sitting at the bar as they insisted on. The waitress was friendly but not very attentive. She seemed to be more in keeping the crowd moving than service. I don't think I ever had the credit card machine just thrown on my table in the middle of eating my meal. read more

They don't have reservations or a phone number that works so we went to the restaurant at 5 to tell them we had 10 people coming. The person then put us on the waitlist as a party of ten and we got there at 6 when the waitlist said we had 0 minutes left of wait time. There were still parties ahead of us on the waitlist so we waited outside. Someone came outside an hour later and asked how big of a party we were and said he'll see what he can do for us. We waited from 6-8 because they said a table was almost done and we were going to sit there. That table was still mid meal so we left and then we were texted that in five minutes they'd be able to seat us. Waiting two hours when we showed up to the restaurant to tell them we had a large party and then arriving on time and not being seated is crazy. The hostess was also rude and did not help us when we asked when we could be seated. She said she would get her boss and she never did. Very disappointing because the food and drinks are amazing.
