Well after the guy found out she wasn't going to have any work done that day he charged her $63 for looking over the car and claimed that people don't "do that for free anymore". Well fuck you very much? I've been to Little Falls Gas down the road from here when I've had issues with my tire. The mechanic took my tire off my car, plugged it, checked it over and changed me nothing. I gave him a $20 bill for his trouble and I've gone back ever since. That is good business. Not this shady place. It's one thing to charge someone $63 to look over the car, it's quite another to do it by blindsiding someone and never disclosing that fee from the get go. Nope nope nope. If you want to save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere that's trustworthy then go somewhere else.

The first time, I came in for an AC issue. I mentioned that I believed the blower motor resistor was the problem, but I was told the issue was related to wiring instead. I declined the repair, and later confirmed that the blower motor resistor was in fact the issue. On another visit after a tire blowout, I only wanted to replace the damaged tire because the other tires were still fairly new. However, I was strongly encouraged to replace three tires as well as purchase a new battery. I ultimately replaced only the one tire and decided to get a second opinion before spending money on the battery. I later went to another shop for an oil change and asked them to check the battery, and they confirmed that it was completely fine and did not need replacement. I understand that repair recommendations can differ between shops, but having multiple experiences where I was advised to purchase additional parts and services that later turned out to be unnecessary made me lose confidence in this location. As someone who has since learned more about vehicle repairs and maintenance, I am glad I sought second opinions before authorizing the work. Based on my experiences, I would recommend that customers get a second opinion before agreeing to costly repairs or replacements recommended at this shop.

Ryan pulled the car in immediately, quickly diagnosed the complete issue (including shocks and struts) and had parts ordered and delivered within the hour. The job took extra time because years of rust had degraded the calipers to the point of no return, and he got those in by the end of the day as well. The next morning, the brake light happened to come on again. Swung by the shop and Ryan quickly pulled the car in again, rebled the brake lines and topped the fluid.

Not only did he tell me that my belts had to be changed out (they were due), but he actually took the time to show me where the problem was happening underneath the hood! As a teacher, I really value learning and was so pleased with him, his mechanics, and the wonderful job they did changing out my belts, which didn't take long to do.
