I wasted my money and time with Xpress Urgent Care. I told them I was leaving the country the next day and I needed Result as soon as possible. After I was swabbed I asked when should I expect my results and they said "within 36 hours." Even though I paid for probably the most expensive test ($275). I asked if there was anyway I could get my results faster, they said it would cost me another $225 (another billable event). I asked if I could cancel and get atleast 1/4 of what I paid and they said, No. They didn't offer any assistance or anything so not only was I out $275, I had to get tested elsewhere. Evelyn and the provider Bryonna were so rude. Got to my appointment early and I guess I didn't complete my registration so Evelyn says "I can do it for you this time and we will see you" and then asked if I wanted a rapid or regular test. I said "if my insurance covers a rapid can we do it?" (My appt was initially for the regular result 2-3 day one) so then Bryonna starts saying rudely "we are canceling your appointment you were scheduled for the regular one, go online and reschedule" and I said "no worries I'll just get the one I was booked for." Then she said "no you have to reschedule." Then Evelyn was then saying "we can't see you since we need time to check your insurance and you didn't provide it to us" but I been there 3 times, they have to have my insurance. DO NOT GO HERE! I would give -2 stars if I could. Worst experience I have ever had in my life. I had my appointment at 1:30 5/30/22 for severe stomach pain and vomiting. I was looking forward to finally getting some help from a doctor, so I was really relived being able to get in. The second I walk in I said " hi I have an appointment at 1:30 for-" the front desk girl with glasses cuts me off says name and last name very rudely. I know these places I can't expect the best service so I just didn't think too much of it. I filled out the paper she told me to and said follow me to the room and I very nicely say "Sorry I have a question I just wanted to make sure my medical was able to cover" she then says " well I didn't charge you so obviously". I just said oh okay I was so shocked at how rude she was to me when I have literally given no reason to. I sit in the room waiting for the Doctor thinking okay at least the doctor will be nice and I can talk to her about my pain. I get a call from my boyfriend asking me making sure I'm ok and I hear a knock on the door so I say bye right away and hang up. I shoot him a quick text Brb before the doctor has even said hi or closed the door I was already off my phone as she finished closing the door she says very rudely " I'm going to need you to get off your phone I'm very busy and I have many patients to get to so I am not going to wait for you to finish texting so I need you to get off" I WAS SO SHOCKED. at this point I'm still so nauseous and pain in my stomach has been unbearable for hours so I'm desperate for help so I just take it. My time with her was really only 5-7 mins long. I was so uncomfortable and regretted my decision so much I wanted to cry because I've been going through hell since 3am and now I'm having the worst experience ever. I understand this place probably gets very difficult clients who are rude and the workers must go through a lot. But I was very nice and easy from the start to deserve this treatment. On a Tuesday i signed up for a covid test for the next day. The administrator at front desk sent an email which I got to confirm a next day appointment. The email says "complete the appointment process steps 1-5". But rather than put the process steps in the email, they send a separate message in text format to your phone. Their system failed to get the PHONE text of that process to me on Tuesday or again when they tried it in front of me when I went back. It doesn't matter if it's their system or my phone....the front desk administrator would not acknowledge that maybe there was a system problem and I wasn't receiving their texts, no apologies, its pretty much on me. Then after much unnecessary discussion, she hands me 5 pages to fill out, and YES...reluctantly she was going to accommodate me that day. However her really unprofessional demeanor confirmed one of the reasons why this place has such bad reviews, 2.5. Then I go outside in the line, in the hot sun ready to fill out the forms when I thought....am I going to trust this place to be professional with covid testing technique with all that I read in the reviews? As a chief real estate appraiser, TRUST IS VITAL, and now I just lost that with this organization...and I'll have to look for a different place. I felt a slight fever on Friday night into Saturday morning. So I thought it would be smart for my family that I get a rapid COVID test! This place was the ONLY one I could find that would take me before Monday. Made my appointment online (super easy)! Got there a few mins before my appointment time walked in, filled out one page of paperwork. I asked the young man (didn't catch his name) about the accuracies to these test. He was VERY helpful and full of info (THANK you Young man)!! I then waited in my car for maybe 3mins before someone called with questions, 2 mins later Evelyn came out to do my test! She was SUPER friendly and professional (THANK you Evelyn)! Was told my results would be back in 20mins and sure enough I got a call and was told to come back in for my paperwork! Terrible experience. Admin staff at front desk asked my name when I entered and I pointed at a paper directly in front of me with all my information on display printed out on a document and said that's me. This place seriously needs to be shut down. I set an appointment with this urgent care facility because I believed I have strep throat. I am not from California I am from Texas. So I was unfamiliar with the business and just looking for something that could help before I had to return on my flight home. I walked into the facility and the woman asked me what my name was I looked down and there was a sheet of paper that had all of my information for everyone in the office to see and I said that's me and pointed at the paper. She got upset with me and said you're not supposed to look at that information it's not for you to see. And I said I am losing my voice and you asked me what my name is you had this print it out for anyone who could walk in to see with all of my personal information. All of the information that I filled out online that included past diagnosis etc, prescriptions, personal information, etc. she even told me that I was too close to the counter and shouldn't have read that. There was no barrier on the counter. She made me refill out all of the information I had already filled out and she had printed right in front of her. When I went back to the doctor the doctor asked how long my symptoms had lasted. I said about three days. I explained that I flew on Friday with a scratchy throat but had taken a Covid test and it was negative. She asked me again why I would fly on a Friday. And said are you sure you didn't fly on a Saturday. I didn't understand why she was trying to confuse it. I said yes I flew here on Friday my symptoms became worse on Saturday. My voice is very hoarse because I've lost it. She got an attitude immediately with me and said do not talk to me as if I am retarded. She blatantly used the word retarded as a medical professional. I was appalled. She told me that I was not allowed in their facility and that she would call my insurance company to say that I was banned from their facility. This is the most unprofessional experience I've had in my entire life and I would never submit this if it didn't need to be looked into. Security and safety of my information but also the disrespect of how I was treated in this facility. This place is ripping people off with Covid exams. They wanted to charge me $225 and I'm sure they would had thrown in some hidden fees in there. If you live in Orange County and have no insurance or money for a test please register online at the Anaheim Convention Center. Would not come here again. My boyfriend called on the phone asking a simple question and she answered very rudely making him feel stupid for asking a question. I walked in and signed in on the iPad. It was my first time here, so I did not know what to do. After giving her my I'd, she rudely told me to fill out the paperwork. After seeing the doctor, I went up to the desk to ask a question about where the prescription was sent. She, once again, rudely said whatever pharmacy I picked when I signed it. It may be my fault for not remembering which location I picked, but she was rude. I just walked out because I did not want to talk to her anymore. I came out not knowing where to pick up my prescription, nor did I get paperwork for my prescription. Once I got home, my boyfriend's mother called and asked for my prescription to be sent somewhere else because the one I picked was apparently closed. She informs his mom that she sent it to our desired location and asked us to call in about 10 minutes so see if it went through. We called to see if the prescription went through and was ready for pick up and she said yes. My boyfriend is currently at the CVS still waiting for my medication because it's still not ready. Yes, we do know it takes time to process, but we were told the medication was ready for pick up. Front desk should be nicer to the sick patients that walk through those doors. I don't usually make reviews, but I was treated so poorly. Both customer service at the front desk and from the doctor. Came in the morning to check myself out, but then I was told, reservations are only done by appointment, yet it is called a "walk in clinic." I then go book myself an appointment the same day, but then I am told that I need to have a negative COVID test result since I am complaining about having the flu. I already have that proof from my test but yet the front desk girls said that wasn't enough since it needed to be a PCR test 72 hours before the appointment. When my dad started asking to see the doctor instead of talking with the front desk, the doctor comes out trying to kick us out for talking with the assistants badly but really we were trying to plead our way through into being seen. My ears have been hurting from the fever that i have had for days and i was trying to get a prescribed medicine for the cold. We also heard many other patients come out of the clinic cursing. A few weeks later I was exposed again and so I went back to take another test and this time the price was $225.
