As this spa was close to my boarding terminal and I can also use my priority pass, I came here to unwind from a business trip and get ready for my flight. I had a half an hour compression chair massage and I paid extra to have a face mask as well as a half hour heating pad rest afterwards. The place is huge in comparison to other airport spas I have been to. Staff: I counted six staff and I was the only customer that I noticed. Prices: for the chair and pad, it is fairly priced. For the human based services, it averages about $50 per 15 min which is a little higher than average but bough I bet it's great. Will I come back here again, of course! read more

NOTE: I am updating my follow up review after customer the service rep, Gladys Collado, got back to me after I expressed my disappointment with the follow through after my visit. I am pleased to say after receiving my third email, she sincerely apologized for the lack of follow up, stating my emails and yelp messages had gone to spam. She offered to credit me back for my poor experience and provided me with points on a loyalty account. Thank you for making the effort to make this right and for taking accountability for the service I received and then consequently the overcharging and lack of empathy when I shared that my experience was not so great. After I took my personal time to write an account of my experience, I am thankful that things are now in action. I will give it a go as a customer again and hope that the rest of my experiences are as usual and that if there are any problems that they are managed with care. read more

Great service here and the massage was really good. And the price was not so bad was very happy to have stopped by and try them out, because i see them a few times while traveling at the airport. What's up with the reviews?!?! This place is AWESOME! Seriously what a great idea for the airport! Ok so my flight was delayed an additional 2 hours for a grad total of a 4 hour layover in Minneapolis. After grabbing a bite to eat I was bored out of my skull and super tired. I walked by Xpres Spa and saw several people getting back and foot massages and seethed with envy! My turn! So I walk up to the service list and a super nice guy named Carlo greeted me. He went over all the options and I decided on a 30 minute foot massage. Good choice:) I was sat in a massage chair that was much better and stronger than the ones at my traditional nail salon. Carlo promptly started my foot massage. I had a nice conversation with him and was loving the massage chair and massage. He also offered to plug in my phone to charge at my chair:) 30 minutes later we were done but Carlo told me I can stay and enjoy the massage chair until my flight departs....umm AWESOME! He then got me a nice warm blanket and some water to relax! This is a must for every airport! Seriously, it takes all the stress off flying! Thank you Xpres Spa and thank you Carlo!!! read more

After arriving at the airport, my flight was delayed an hour and I suddenly had two hours to kill until boarding. As I wandered around the main concourse, I happened to see the kiosk for XpresSpa, and just as I was wishing I could get a pedicure (my nails were chipped badly). The lady at the kiosk was so nice, and answered my questions and even called ahead to the actual salon in concourse F to make sure they would be ready when I arrived. Once I found the correct location, I did have to wait about 10 minutes, even though I had an "appointment" from the lady calling ahead. I thought that was odd, since they knew I was on my way, I figured they would be ready when I arrived. I also had to get the attention of the lady working behind the counter, as she was engrossed in a personal call when I arrived and had to wait for her to acknowledge me: -1 star. I had Melissa as my manicurist, and he did a great job. I had originally asked for mani/pedi combo, but was doubtful she could do both by herself in an hour. She was so sweet and asked what I wanted first, in case we didn't have time for both. Of course, my toes were in desperate need of attention, so I asked her to start there. I had the express pedicure, so nothing fancy, but the foot massage was heavenly! My toes are clean and shiny with the OPI polish I picked out, and I'm just about as pleased with the outcome as I could possibly hope to be. I decided to forego the manicure to be sure I had time to make my flight, but I'm sure she would've done a great job with my hands as well. If I'm ever stuck in MSP again with time to kill, I will most definitely be back. read more

9am- It's open, there's someone there, but apparently they can't do manicures until 10am. Ok fine, I'll come back. 10am- it's open, now she says ok have a seat and pick a color. We discuss what type of manicure, whether I have gel on, and what time my flight leaves (in 1 hr, so i want out in less than 30min to board). I pick a color and have a seat, enjoy a massage chair. ...that's it. That's the end of the story because no one ever showed up. I just sat there for 10minutes listening to workers laughing in the back and one passing by me twice, no eye contact or anything... I got up and left because clearly this mani is not happening. I thought when reading yelp reviews that maybe they were being harsh--it IS only an airport "salon," after all--but no, they are not. I don't expect the best salon experience or mani I've ever had, but I expect A MANI if that is what we've agreed to for goodness sake!!!! Save your time. Don't bother. I had a long day in Saint Paul and late flight out of MSP so thought to refresh before a long flight and utilized their shower facilities (they have the only shower facilities at MSP -- I belong to Delta sky club and they don't have at MSP). For $40 - you get access to the shower facilities, a changing room and spa level toiletries. I walked in exhausted and feeling grimy and left feeling like a million bucks -- clean and coiffed! Got to the airport an hour and half early because my ride had an earlier flight. I decided to get my nails done since why not. I first found the location in he mall area and was told that the person there doesn't do nails. I then went to the one in terminal F where there was a lady who did nails. My nail lady was very nice and did my gel nails in 30 mins. She would have probably done them a little bit faster but she knew my flight was an hour away because she asked right as we started. The price for a gel mani was $45 which is pretty normal for a gel mani at a nail salon not at the airport. No complaints about the service from my nail lady at Terminal F. Three stars because I don't know why they have prices of all the services if certain ones don't provide the services... Also there were a limited selection of colors to pick from for a gel mani. It was a good place to go to fill my time before my flight but nothing extra ordinary or anything! read more

I was heading back home to Phila after 4 stressful days of business. It was a demanding week, it was a very challenging prior month, and I carried stress in every fiber of my body. I was passing by the XpresSpa, and my feet just turned towards the empty massage chairs. I scanned the menu, and decided on a 15-minute neck and shoulder massage. Eli was the masseur on duty.... He was extremely attentive and accommodating: I wanted some relaxing music, but couldn't find my iPod, so he whipped out one and set smooth tango melodies to play. Nice start... Starting with my neck, he diligently worked on every link of the neck and spine, tried his absolute best to undue the hard knots in my shoulders, massaged the gnocchi-sized knots around the shoulder blades, down the arms and to the finger tips. I told him not to hold back. The second pass was a pain and a blessing, mixed together: I could feel the pain and tension melting away, but some areas were still a challenge, to be battled with at a different place and time. At the end of 15 minutes, Eli gave my back an energizing run with the edges of his hands, and finished with a head massage. Boy oh boy - what a miracle an expert masseur can do in a short time. Had time to kill before my flight out of Terminal C. The staff were thoughtful, pleasant and made sure I was comfortable. I signed up for a 20 minute neck and shoulder massage and on the spot was able to extend it to 30 minutes. It was a perfect way to take care of a lot of stress and tension after a day of meetings and before headed on a late night flight home. On top of that, I left my coat and the manager Teresa and her staff couldn't have been nicer in helping me coordinate getting it back. Offering to ship to me no less! This place has about 3 locations in the MSP airport. One is kind of a kiosk and the other 2 are shops. We went to get a beard trim for my boyfriend and we were told someone comes in at 10am who can do hair and they would be at "The Mall" which is the looks like location. So we waited and then went and the staff there said they do not cut hair at that location. She directed us to the the other shop in Concourse F. After a 10 minute walk we arrived and were told no one was available to cut hair. I think it is dishonest to call yourself a "salon" when you clearly only offer massages. Nothing on the service list posted at each location, including the kiosk, mentioned anything about limited availability or only available at certain locations. If you want a massage, I'm sure they are fine, but I don't trust a company that puts out signs with services they really don't offer. read more

I walked so much over the last 4 days for my national conference in Milwaukee that I needed some reflexology therapy desperately! Bao was extremely accommodating, professional and friendly. I was 45 minutes on the waiting list to get a haircut. There were 6 chairs empty, 1 person working. I don't want to give names but, that person was cutting hair for the first time in her life. Chopping like my head being a tree stump ready for carving. These people need to be shut down before they do this to someone else. There was 1 person with a license to do hair. Perhaps it wasn't specified on her license that it was for dog grooming not humans grooming. I will go out of my way to make sure they will be closed down. read more

Ira is my favorite. Seriously. I had just finished up a week long trade show and had plenty of time to burn so I asked for a 15 min tension relief massage. It was FANTASTIC. The spa manager after the fact mentioned that I looked extremely released. Which I was. They also let you just hang out in the massage chairs after your session which was Devine. I travel a lot for work and have had my share of airport pedicures. This was the worst one ever. 1). Wasn't acknowledged when I walked in and spent time looking at the services menu. This happened to the 7 other people who walked in after me. 2). The woman giving pedicures was sweet but all over the place with tasks, etc.... In an airport it's about delivering a service quickly and efficiently. XpressSpa did neither of those. She filed my nails too short and the application of the polish was sloppy. I had to have her re-do a couple nails a few times and they still didn't look right. Downright awful experience. read more

Wanted to get a massage with having a 3 hour layover at the airport. I walked over and was told there was a 30 minute wait - ok, no big deal... I'll grab a snack at the restaurant directly across from them and kill 2 birds with one stone, right? No, no, no I'm told - if I leave the confines of the kiosk I can't get the massage. Whatever, I'm hungry so I go get the snack. While directly across the way from them I see another guy do the same thing. Leaves, comes back, no problem. So wtf???? I head back over and now although there are literally NO CUSTOMERS and 3 employees standing around I'm told the wait is now 45 minutes. I'll be reporting the discriminatory behavior to the airport as well so they are aware and can take it up with the owner. I had about three hours to wait in MSP. I decided to stop by the XpresSpa and they said that they could do a no-chip manicure in about 45 minutes. When I came back, I waited about 10-15 more minutes before they actually seated me. Since I was getting a no-chip, there was no additional charge to take off the no-chip polish I had on. The nail tech Debbie was very nice and the reclined massage chair where I was seated (during the manicure) was very comfortable. Overall, my nails looked great when I left, but were peeling about a week later (when I've had most other no-chips last about two weeks). Also, they offer a crew discount, which is nice for airline people like myself. Would I go back in a pinch - yes. However, I'd be more likely to get a normal manicure instead of a more expensive no-chip, since it didn't last as long as expected. Overall, I was grateful to have the option of XpresSpa in the airport, but I wish that my manicure had lasted longer. read more

Avoid for manicures!! That was the only service I had here, and the work was terrible. I feel bad because the girl who did my nails was very nice, but the manicure was so sub-par I can't even spot her an extra star for being personable. 1) I went in with long natural nails and said I wanted to keep them long, merely even them all out. I apparently should have specified to file only, because the clippers came out and she hacked them down almost to my fingertips. 2) Sloppy polish job. The hallmark of a professional manicure is that slim tiny bit of white space around the edges of the skin. She polished right up to and onto my cuticles, and I had polish on the sides of my actual fingers on 5 out of 10. 3) She apparently didn't bother with a base coat (my eyes were closed post-hack job so I could try to relax) because now I've removed the polish at home and my nails are terribly stained. This has never happened before even with even black nail polish. Bottom line, I could have done a better job myself at home, which isn't saying much and is NOT acceptable when I've paid a professional to do it. If you have time to kill at the airport, don't spend it (or your money) here. read more

My nails are all did and I feel fancy! Stopped at the location in concourse D for a quick polish change. What a delightful (and productive) use of pre-board wait time. In terminal F by gate 6 was greeted immediately and enthusiastically by very friendly staff. I needed a haircut, I had an hour and a half to kill and decided to give this place a try. The folks who greeted me told me it would be a few minutes but the stylist, Cassie, took me right in. I don't typically chat it up during a haircut but ended up really enjoying talking to her and the entire experience. She gave me a nice shampoo followed by a haircut to my exact specifications. I have tight curly hair that is not easy but she did an excellent job. Not overly expensive for a salon spa especially in the airport! Totally worth it and since I'm on the road a lot traveling through MSP I look forward to my next visit. read more

I had around 4 hours to wait for my plane at MSP- so naturally I wanted to spend that time decompressing from spending a week with my coworkers. There's several of these kiosks located throughout the terminals. All of them are understaffed. Since they only have one or possibly two people working they have serious wait times. The staff directed me to other locations in the airport but after walking over to those- they also had wait times. A much simpler solution would be to call- but the staff is to busy to do this. So heading home sweet home I thought after an exhausting 10 days...10 inches of snow, Winter Storm Warning, 2 hour flight delay in Rhinelander, missed my nonstop connection in Minneapolis, now rerouted through Detroit then on to Fort Lauderdale...I stop in at XpresSpa and they feel so bad for me they offer me a Shiatsu Massage chair with all the gadgets for free for two hours during my layover...thank you Carlo, the nicest Italian Guy!! Can't speak to the actual Service but the guy in a tie standing behind the desk eating chips told me I couldn't get a pedi at 2:45 pm on a Sunday. He asked another guy if he was leaving at 3 and the answer was that he was. So the guy behind the desk eating chips told me no pedi. It didn't seem super professional and really not convenient for me, since they shut down so early. I'm a frequent flier, diamond status on Delta and am through MSP a couple times a week making connections. read more

I was greeted by Tony, whose customer service is excellent, and who made my experience wonderful by checking on me and providing water and the massage chair while I waited for a manicure. Florida gave me a great express manicure which lasted through the rest of my trip. For me that's fantastic. She's fun and professional.
