Xpro Auto Glass promised to fix the problem but failed to turn up twice as promised. Update- one of the regulators they installed has failed due to improper installation. I've rolled the window up and down maybe a half dozen times since installation. Upon inspection, the rivets were all very loose, and part of the regulator was installed backwards. They insisted the installed had 20+ years of experience, but I could have done a better job. So my wife came home with a huge rock chip on the windshield of her BMW X5 e40. These are the types of thing you need to fix, not just for cosmetic reasons but also to ensure the crack does not propagate. It was also annoying that the chip was right on the driver's side. I normally try Velocity Autoglass but it turns out they close on Saturday. Xpro opens on Saturday and I was able to get in an early appointment at 10am, same day. Jose our technician clearly loves his job and set expectations early. He could not guarantee the repair will make the crack invisible, but he can patch it up and reduce the size. He also explained the process to me and was thorough and efficient. The entire job was 15 minutes max. The mobile auto glass repair is super convenient since they come to you for the repair. All I got was automated responses to go to the website. I never once was able to speak to a human being. I needed to be reassured and talk to a person so I went outside the city and I found X-Pro. Raphael answered the phone Raphael was able to put my worries at ease, and Rafael was able to get a repair person out first thing Monday morning so that I could return back to Nevada without adding any timely delays to my planned visit.
