I came in several months ago for their Friday the 13th promotion - several tattoo shops offer steeply discounted tattoos on this holiday, but this was the first shop I've seen to include piercings in their promotion. A list of piercings was covered (including jewelry), at $20-$40 each, compared to the usual $60+ elsewhere. I called before heading over and spoke to Smiley - posted hours on Yelp were wrong, so I was coming close to the end of their business hours. He assured me that the wait wasn't long and if I was already on the way, he'd wait for me. The shop itself is clean, and after completing a waiver, I worked with Jason. We discussed a few different piercings and I ultimately ended up getting my nose repierced, plus a helix and conch in my ear. Jason was quiet and put me at ease, and the piercing experience itself was quick and fairly painless. No joke, we were in and out in about 10 minutes, and this is with the piercing tech having to stop a tattoo for her little ears! XS is clean, the staff is attentive, quick, and friendly. They were so fast with he piercing, counted down for her since she started to get nervous, and hid the needle on their glove so she wouldn't see since she stated getting anxious. Since she is a a minor, we brought my ID, and her school ID as proof we were related. We actually called ahead for that information. They gave us a sheet of paper after for care instructions. I was very attracted to the decor inside. They had several antique items on display, which kept us entertained while we waited. I've been wanting a face piercing for as long as I can remember, but I always ended up talking myself out of it. Three weeks ago, my coworker came into work with a nose piercing and I loved it! He recommended I get mine done too-and for a week straight, he would keep trying to talk me into it. I got a Friday the 13th tattoo here and it looks like a kid did it. Im having my actual professional artist fix it soon because i cried myself to sleep with how bad it looks. I don't care if it is a cheap tattoo but if you are someone who's job is to do tattoos then take it serious bc it's on me forever. So unprofessional and I'm sure the guy was drunk or on some major drugs. Also Edward Jasper Espinosa is just as bad as the guy who did mine. He tried to make me take down this review in hopes I'd go to him to have it fixed but his artwork on his instagram is horrendous. I would never give my money to that place ever again. Went here on a whim to get a spur of the moment piercing. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and most importantly knowledgeable. My piercer (I forgot his name) worked quickly, and I felt almost no pain! My friend got a watercolor tattoo from Erin. It came out great. Fast forward 2 weeks and we came back to see Erin for another tattoo. Her work is great and the lines are crisp. I would say that this was the worst tattoo experience I have ever had. A group of friends and I all went to XS Ink for their Friday the 13th tattoo event. We originally got tattooed by Jason Christ and I would not recommend him to anyone. He not only messed up on the two tattoos that I received, but also the 9 other tattoos that my group of friends got. I do understand that there is a level of art that is expected for a Friday the 13th tattoo, however the end product was horrific. We were also the last group of people that Jason Christ had tattooed that day, and he had mentioned that he had been there tattooing all day. He also mentioned that he had 20+ years of tattooing experience, so I am very confused and baffled that he let us walk out the way that we did. I wish if he felt burnt out, or unable to deliver at least a half decent tattoo, that he would have advocated for himself and tapped out. That tattoos me and my friends received from Jason Christ were unforgivable and irresponsible. That being said, my friends and I all returned to XS Ink to have all 11 of our tattoos fixed by a different artist. We had called before and talked to one of the owners Nick, who was very understanding and nice about the situation. He told us to of course come in, and he would handle the situation and we could get all of the tattoos touched up. When we got there, the front desk ladies were also very helpful and were aware of the situation. We even talked to the other owner Blue who was also very understanding, nice and empathetic to our situation. He even was upset by the work that Jason Christ had done to me and all of my friends. He told us of course we can touch them up, and try and fix them. That was when we saw the tattoo artist Johnny V, who was honestly a life saver. He assessed all of the 11 tattoos and told us that he could definitely help us out, and was very understanding and apologetic for our situation. He did everything he could to try and save the tattoos, and we all left feeling much better about the look of our tattoos. They weren't and couldn't be 100% because of the terrible job Jason Christ had done originally, but we were understanding that Johnny did everything he could to make sure we were happy in the end. Overall I would recommend any other artist at XS Ink except Jason Christ. Johnny V was very nice, helpful and talented. All of the staff was very understanding, empathetic and helpful to our situation. I liked the vibe of the tattoo shop as well. Just avoid Jason Christ. My sister and I went to get friday the 13th tattoos yesterday and we were so excited to get them. This past friday the 13th i went and got one done by Blue (i believe is his name) and it was cute and adorable. This time my sister got a cute jelly fish. However the line work is horrible and it looks like a 5 year old did it. She immediately booked another appointment an hour later to cover it up at a different shop. This guy was white and he was stationed in the second room on the right. I forgot his name and don't get me wrong he was a very nice guy, but he had to be drunk or on drugs or not a professional tattoo artist because it is absolutely horrible. Called ahead to see if they take walk-ins, and 30 mins later went in with a large party (the whole family lol, 7 people). They weren't busy, only a group of 2 in front of us and we didn't have to wait long either. In total our piercer was able to pierce all 7 of us in probably less than 30 minutes. Our piercer and the girl that was working (sorry, their names are completely escaping my mind) were very nice, amicable, and excellent at keeping those in our party that were nervous, calm. Shop was brightly lit and very clean. Gloves changed in between people and surfaces wiped down. New needles and everything used every time... basically general sanitization and cleaning procedures followed! Clean, efficient service! Love this place! This is my newest favorite place to go. As most people know, I am super spontaneous and that's what makes YELP the best place to find last minute quality experiences. First, I came and got my nose pierced with a friend for her birthday. Walking in, it's clean, open and decorated for a laid back feel. The receptionist was extremely friendly, told us the prices and options. Nose ring plus piercing was $25 bucks, plus tip. Super reasonable. Msg places in las.p Vegas don't do nose rings anymore because of COVID. The part I loved was that we were walk in and they accommodated us. Other places I saw online wanted you to. Make an appointment a week or two in Advance. I'm salary and with my work schedule I can't do that. Nick was our piercer. He was training another person and it was awesome to hear him being extremely precise. He let us know he was the owner with his brother and appreciated us choosing their place of business. I loved how down to earth and real he was. My friend wanted a second hole next to her original and he showed her what was best and why. He joked and made light of the person who did the original because it was done incorrectly and wasn't healing right. Before I let I spoke with their tattoo artist Cody about getting a tattoo that I wanted to design. My second experience (check my checkins) was a few weeks later when I set the appointment with Cody, paid my deposit and sat and designed it with him. It was exactly what I wanted. Check pictures. I was so impressed with his artwork and communication that I right then designed another two tattoos with him. It was very affordable. The next day the tattoo went down, he was personable with conversation, calmed my fears about a collarbone tattoo and played music. Before beginning he sanitized the room, chair and opened utensils in front of me. I felt safe and clean in his hands. Three tattoos took an hour and a half. Very pleased on the healing and can't wait to design the next one. It's such a shame this place has reviews that were left but they don't show. Five stars! read more

Erin was super cool, and granted it was Friday the 13th, but I feel as if if you decide to rush a tattoo on someone, at least be somewhat good at it. At first glance when my friend and I initially got them, we were stoked off the adrenaline rush. Now the more we look at it, the more we're stressed about it. The moon on the cat's forehead is definitely something else, and not only is the line work wobbly for both, they don't meet at a few points. I kind of feel bad for dragging out my friend for her first tattoo and that this wonky plane is what she ended up with.
