I'm new to the area and wanted to find a hookah lounge to relax at and decided to try out Xscape. Chill atmosphere and friendly service! Not to mention the flavors are great as well. The flavor I picked is called That Good Stuff with pineapple, white peach, watermelon and tropicool as recommend by one of the staff great choice! And the decor is nice as well. I've been to many hookah lounges all over LA and OC and Xscape was very impressive. It wasn't excessive or over the top it was just a very chill place with great quality hookah. With that said, the most impressive part was the service. These dudes (and ladies) were on top of it, fantastic customer service and that's what stands out the most to me about this lounge. Been here once and it's my first time at a hookah lounge. My coworkers and I all had a great time chilling after work. Staffs checked up on us occasionally and made sure everything was good. Long gave excellent service. He was cool af. love how they have a 5 star rewards system and how you can bring in your own food. Pizza Hut is next door so i know what I'm bringing in here next time. The staffs: Nicko and Mohammed are also very attentive with the coals which make the service even better. I've been here a few times and the staff are incredibly friendly and always very helpful. The atmosphere is chill and relax, overall very comfortable spot to just hang and relax with your buddies. They're open late which is also a plus for those late night "feel like doing something" moments that occur. The hookah area is all outdoor patio with music and flat screens. Was only visiting long beach area and found this hookah spot. The service is great and didn't have to ask for a wall plug for my laptop as they have extension cords on the poles for many to use. Internet was fast and to top it off, they constantly came to check up on not only my hookah, but everyone's in the room not leaving anyone out! Staffing is huge to me wherever I go. The staff here sucks, more concerned about socializing and smoking hookah themselves than attending to customers. Only had my coal changed once, and had to ask. Not acceptable. Alot of the customers seemed almost too comfortable, bringing in outside food and looking like they just walked off the street. As far as hookah flavor, it's the same that you can get anywhere. If your really into hookah, I suggest buying your own and doing it at home. It's a good investment. If you just go to socialize, then there are better places out there. Also, call before you go. Sometimes they're open, sometimes they're closed, sometimes they're apparently shutting down. Flakey. Also, parking sucks.(Btw I went here for a date and when we got the bill, I thought it was overpriced so good thing i wasn't paying.) read more
