The owner Chuck is aggressive, violent, disrespectful and rude to patrons. On 5/3/2026 I visited the establishment with friends. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The DJ was playing sad, heartbreak/breakup songs. Many of the patrons did not know the song word for word.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After 3 attempts to get us to sing I informed him that we don't know the songs. He began to antagonize me asking the bar tender to make me a free drink. I was not drinking so I called my uber preparing to leave. As I return to the door way to wait on my ride he comes out to apologize and asks what he can do to make me happy. He then states that he was wrong, he is going through something and it will NEVER happen again. To which I say thank you but I am leaving. He goes on to explain how he is going through something and my leaving shows my inability to understand his situation. To which I respond, I don't care to understand after you've already done too much. I then tell my friends the uber is on the way, I'm fine. He then responds, "well leave". I stated "that's what I was already doing". He goes back inside saying things on the mic then comes out again trying to make a mends. I stated I find it interesting how comfortable brothers are disrespecting black women but what's telling is this is your establishment and we've spent so much money here, why would you even think to talk to me like that. He calls me a "b" and proceeds to get in my face as if he wants to hit me. Thankfully friends were there, however I will NEVER return to this establishment. read more

After searching the internet, I came across this bar in Long Beach. I had been searching for a soulful environment, a place that reminded me of my 2 nd home back East in NY where the vibe is fun, good music, drinks and food! We checked them out the week prior to my birthday and needless to say the DJ was amazing that night and even played some reggaeton for us. The bartender Ishmael killed it on the drinks, best I've had so far ! The regulator was my fav. We met 2 amazing local ladies that shared their booth /welcomed us and a gentlemen that danced pretty amazing ! I knew then that I needed to have my birthday here! We reserved the back booth $$$, and the night kicked off with some great beats, the food was delicious, drinks on point with Ishmael, Charles came by to say hello and it was a great night ! The only downside is the seating. First come, first serve, but well worth it! See you again and thank you Charles ! read more

It's so sad that black women continue to be disrespected by black men. The owner of this establishment is unprofessional and lack the ability to control his emotions and his liquor. My three friends and I went here for a night cap on 5/3/2026 and was enjoying ourselves until CHUCKIE decided to get on the mic and disrespect two of my friends. At this point, we decided it was time to go. Chuckie then follows us, apologized to my friend and we thought it was all good. However, we still decided that his actions warranted the need for us to leave. He follows us outside not once but three times and started calling us derogatory names, and proceeded to get in our faces as if he wanted to hit us. This incident has definitely scared us and after all these years of patronizing his business, we will never be back. read more

This is my childhood friend Chanel's dad's bar. Everyone go tell Chuckie say hi to "Chanel" for me. That's his daughter's name, & Amber! Ha ha, I grew up with them. My mom went to high school with Chuckie. Yes POLY. Chuckie was a Cowboys player back in the day turned fitness gym trainer and owner and now owns this bar. We spoke about him wanting to pursue this dream. He finally did it. I pass by this place all the time. I used to workout at his gym. Anyways, me and my sister will have to stop by.
