Service was mediocre. We purchased and put in our order for hookah and it never came. We had to ask and found out that the lady in the front had never put in the order. The hookah arrived and it was harsh!!! I have tried hookah at multiple spots and even have it at home. The first puff had me coughing and choking, not smooth AT ALL. Replacing the coals never happened, until we asked. We had a section where the DJ is and some random people (not employees) were just walking in the section to speak with the DJ.... Just a mess!! I hope the owner makes some much needed changes so this spot can last read more

After a long busy day, my coworker's and I decided to hangout and have some fun down time. We went to a local place called "Ice Hookah", and let me just say it was THE BEST! The minute we walked in, the staff greeted us, which made us feel welcomed, comfortable and happy to be somewhere that allowed us to melt away all the bad juju's that work brought on. The place has a really cool vibe, it's very clean, and "Shawn" set us up in a spacious booth, where we all were able to relax and enjoy the feel good atmosphere that Ice Hookah brings. We all enjoyed ourselves so much we are excited to come back to chill again this coming weekend. read more

Went here on a Saturday night and the vibe was chill. I tried the ice sex on the beach and not going to lie it was so damn good. It tasted like I just drank a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch lol Some of the other hookah places I've been to aren't that flavor focused so I definitely recommend coming here if you want good quality hookah. I'm new to the city and I have tried to come visit this lounge 2x. Each time, it says they are open online, but the door is locked. There is a sticky note that says "we are open," however, you cannot get in the building. Things like this make it very hard to support. If there is an alternative way to come experience the lounge, please let me know. Thank you. read more

Ambiance was great for a chill night out with friends. I went to discuss business with my realtor and it was the perfect environment to talk while still keeping things casual. The hookah was smooth and the music selection consisted of rap and r&b which we loved. I recommend paying them a visit! read more

Ice hookah Lounge is one the , if not the best hookah Lounge I have been too! There service is incredible, their vibe is always right , GREAT customer service (they even have cute outfits!) and the hookah is top tier with the best flavors. Their specialty flavor "cold December" is my favorite so far, it has a smooth pull with a perfect touch of lemon. The owner is incredibly nice and is strong on customers having a great time and great service. Ice hookah is also a black owned business. I just want to start by saying I never leave reviews, but for this place I had to! When we first got there the vibes were amazing, good music, and decent service. Our hookah took a while to come out but me and my friend were vibing to the music and enjoying our night out. Finally, our hookah arrived and we were having a good time but then this guy who said he was the owners uncle began to harass me and my friend. He claimed "my niece is the owner of this place so I get to bother whoever I want". First of all that was a red flag I should've walked out right then and there! At first he was being funny and we eventually thought he would leave but no he never left! He began touching my knee and wrapping his arm around me and my friend repeatedly which made me extremely uncomfortable! He even tried to sit between us to "make a sandwich" he claimed. We literally could no longer enjoy our hookah because the fucking uncle would not leave us alone. We expressed that we would like to be left alone and he still remained harassing us until we walked out of the door he was even sticking his tongue out expressing sexual gestures which was extremely disgusting. It really pissed us off and ruined our whole night since we had just paid $40 dollars for our hookah and couldn't even finish nor enjoy it. The owner needs to get her uncle under control because he is extremely bad for business! read more

Originally, we were going to try to hit up Zuzu's petal, but the line was ridiculously long and the parking was a nightmare, so I decided to take her to my 2nd choice, which was Kin Long. I thought it would be a run-of-the-mill local, Thai place with food that is more homestyle and tastes slightly above average to hit the Thai food fix. Boy, was I wrong! First and foremost, they have their own parking lot, so YAY! It's starting to sound like my standards are low, but they aren't. OMG- their restroom is clean! JK. From the outside, it looked nice enough, but I was impressed when we entered. It had a comfy, modern, clean, and beachy elegance to it (the lights and that chandelier) without it being stuffy or looking disjointed in terms of interior decor. Servers were very polite and accommodating. I let my friend order since she was the guest. She ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and scampi shrimp to share, and the Thai tea drink with the ice cream bar. I ordered 3 cocktails (Jalapeno + tamarind, Lychee, and Thai tea martini) and they were all good (not overly sweet and weak sauce, but balanced, tasty, and had the right amount of buzz). We had a light lunch since we had AYCE hot pot later that evening (Mikiya - yes I'm a good host). The garlic noodles exceeded my expectations - shrimp were huge, seasoned well, and just cooked through, the noodles were broad, float, tender, and had a slight chewiness to it. The scampi shrimp were huge, tasty, succulent, and cooked perfectly (not surprised since the shrimp with the garlic noodles were so good). NOTHING WAS OVERCOOKED OR MADE ME GO.... "MEH...." and I've been to many Thai restaurants even the highly stylized kitschy ones like Farmhouse Thai in SF. The waiters were very attentive. They made their rounds to make sure waters were filled and all guests were taken care of. It helps they were also handsome too! LOL. I generally find many places nice in the competitive LA, but not nice enough for me to travel from the SGV. However, I will go out of my way to visit KL again to try the rest of their menu (drunken noodles, pork jerky, crab fried rice, papaya salad, etc.) because they left a good impression with me. Prices are reasonable and the quality of food, cocktails, clean restrooms, ambiance was coastal modern, has its own designated parking lot, and service was lovely.

I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

Could have gone for another glass of wine but then not getting one saved me $15-18 and I could still ride my bike home. Their bread is supposed to be amazing so have to try that next time. It's not a cheap night out but it is a fun one. I wouldn't bring kids here or too large a group maybe 6 max.

Ambiance (5/5): Although we didn't sit inside, it was super cute, with classy boho vibes. The restroom was clean and well-decorated (although, not gonna lie, I don't know how I felt about the big mirror facing the toilet). The outside patio area was airy, and although right by the street, I didn't find it unpleasant. Service (3/5): It was just so-so. They sat us down quickly, gave us our menus and checked on us maybe twice. It wasn't super busy, but we had to wait to ask for things like extra plates and water for our dog. Food Overall (5/5): Food was delicious. We got the beef shawarma lunch special and got fries for the side (extra charge) and also the chicken shawarma lunch special with the hummus side. Beef Shawarma (4/5): It had a nice toasty flavor, perhaps from the spices, and the pickled veggies really complemented it. My only complaint was that I wish it had a bit more of the white sauce (maybe adding more hummus would have helped). It was also strangely a bit watery, maybe from the veggies. Overall, it was still a yummy wrap. Chicken Shawarma (5/5): The chicken shawarma tasted more balanced to me overall. I don't recall the meat being dry, although I did also slather it with a bit of hummus. I thoroughly enjoyed this wrap. Fries side (5/5): Their fries are made in house and it tastes so fresh. It was crispy on the outside yet still gooey and moist on the inside. I'm not sure if they make their own ketchup too, as it looked clumpier and tasted really fresh too. The kids gobbled this up. Hummus and pita (5/5): It came with a generous amount of both hummus and pita. The hummus was well flavored and blended, and it really complemented everything on the table. The pocket pita bread was not what I had in mind (I'm used to thicker ones), but the kids really loved it overall. Ice cream (4.5/5): We ordered two scoops from the dessert menu. They were both really thick, creamy and almost chewy like liquidized mochi. It was a very interesting texture but nonetheless a nice tasty treat on a hot day. I much preferred the vanilla bean, as the pistachio tasted and looked rather artificial (and I'm a pistachio ice cream lover). This place had so many to-go orders during the afternoon we were there. I can see why. Food is super fresh and tasty. I think we will be back the next time we are visiting.

Reserved a private room for a birthday celebration, great music playlist and they take requests. Very hospitable at the door and with answering any questions I had throughout the evening. The flavored hookahs were also great, the overall quality of everything they provided was excellent. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10 read more

I love this place!! I came here for the first time and when I say it was amazing from the service to the hookah to the music. 10/10. The owner is so amazing.
