Service was mediocre. We purchased and put in our order for hookah and it never came. We had to ask and found out that the lady in the front had never put in the order. The hookah arrived and it was harsh!!! I have tried hookah at multiple spots and even have it at home. The first puff had me coughing and choking, not smooth AT ALL. Replacing the coals never happened, until we asked. We had a section where the DJ is and some random people (not employees) were just walking in the section to speak with the DJ.... Just a mess!! After a long busy day, my coworker's and I decided to hangout and have some fun down time. We went to a local place called "Ice Hookah", and let me just say it was THE BEST! The minute we walked in, the staff greeted us, which made us feel welcomed, comfortable and happy to be somewhere that allowed us to melt away all the bad juju's that work brought on. The place has a really cool vibe, it's very clean, and "Shawn" set us up in a spacious booth, where we all were able to relax and enjoy the feel good atmosphere that Ice Hookah brings. Went here on a Saturday night and the vibe was chill. I tried the ice sex on the beach and not going to lie it was so damn good. It tasted like I just drank a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch lol Some of the other hookah places I've been to aren't that flavor focused so I definitely recommend coming here if you want good quality hookah. I'm new to the city and I have tried to come visit this lounge 2x. Each time, it says they are open online, but the door is locked. There is a sticky note that says "we are open," however, you cannot get in the building. Things like this make it very hard to support. Ice hookah Lounge is one the , if not the best hookah Lounge I have been too! There service is incredible, their vibe is always right , GREAT customer service (they even have cute outfits!) and the hookah is top tier with the best flavors. Their specialty flavor "cold December" is my favorite so far, it has a smooth pull with a perfect touch of lemon. The owner is incredibly nice and is strong on customers having a great time and great service. Ice hookah is also a black owned business. I just want to start by saying I never leave reviews, but for this place I had to! When we first got there the vibes were amazing, good music, and decent service. Our hookah took a while to come out but me and my friend were vibing to the music and enjoying our night out. Finally, our hookah arrived and we were having a good time but then this guy who said he was the owners uncle began to harass me and my friend. He claimed "my niece is the owner of this place so I get to bother whoever I want". First of all that was a red flag I should've walked out right then and there! At first he was being funny and we eventually thought he would leave but no he never left! He began touching my knee and wrapping his arm around me and my friend repeatedly which made me extremely uncomfortable! He even tried to sit between us to "make a sandwich" he claimed. We literally could no longer enjoy our hookah because the fucking uncle would not leave us alone. We expressed that we would like to be left alone and he still remained harassing us until we walked out of the door he was even sticking his tongue out expressing sexual gestures which was extremely disgusting. It really pissed us off and ruined our whole night since we had just paid $40 dollars for our hookah and couldn't even finish nor enjoy it. The owner needs to get her uncle under control because he is extremely bad for business! read more
