This Military friendly place is super nice. So much to choose from as snacks go. We always get kids popcorn for my grand daughter. While my Wife and I go with the large popcorn combo. Today we came to watch the David movie. Pro Deo Et Patria

Comfy seats, tons of options. They are remodeling so it was interesting to walk through it with just guidance from a small sign. First time checking it out but definitely would come back, they have great prices for matinees. $9

Another fun visit to Xscape. This is the only movie theater my kids and I go to. Never have I been and it's crowded. The only downside to this excursion was one of the seats didn't recline. We just moved over as there wasn't anyone else in our row.

I love the reclining chairs. However, my shoes stuck to the floor. Popcorn was really good.

Though the foundation drink and butter bar where messy, it was just popcorn and straw paper because people don't know how to throw things away. The floors where very clean and the staff where nice and furthermore the seats where not cracked like some reviewers lead you to believe! Overall a great experience and very entertaining!

They have an elaborate snack list I was impressed. Hot food. Ice cream. Snacks and candy. Promotional popcorn buckets. It's was clean. The theater seats even though not recliner were still comfy. And that theater was absolutely disgusting. Are they not cleaning between shows anymore? Look, I'm the type to take their trash when I leave, and I know that's not the norm, but there's no excuse to pay extra for a ticket because it's an IMax theater and find what looks to be liquified food in a ziplock bag under my seat. There were seats with what I assume to be dried cheese (I hope). The seats are torn up and dirty. There's even a weird smell to the place. they're not even trying to keep up with the place or upgrade it to the point where it's at least closer in comfort to say Tinseltown or Excape, they've really let this place go and still charging full price. For a cleaner experience rent the movie on an iPad, find a run down chevron station down the highway a few counties over and it'll probably be about the same experience.

Ok, I haven't experienced better (yet) because this was my first ever nerdy-con-thing. This was a…read moreterrible first impression of a Con. This event was a shit show. The very model of a shit show. The level of disorganization, absolute absence of communication and helpful information.....they had to have *TRIED* to make it that terrible. Endless lines for photo ops, that really meant nothing anyway since they just kept moving you to other lines and forming new lines. Obscenely late and delayed starts to photo ops and purchasing of photo op tickets (because the credit card machines were down...well fine, take the people who can pay with cash so you can actually do something and get people moving). Based on Twitter, they treated the celebrity guests with about as much disdain as the event attendees, forgetting them in their rooms, at the airport, cancelling their events. I doubt most of them would return. I wouldn't want to. And if celebs and agents share their industry information, I can't see this event lasting much longer before none of them will agree to show up. FandomFest has an active Facebook and Twitter account that was information filled in weeks and months leading up to the event. But they were dead and silent the whole weekend. No updates from them at all. Even AT the venue, there was no information posted when a panel was cancelled. Just no one was there. And nothing put on their sites. Then there was the FandomFest "staff" telling attendees that they weren't allowed to Facebook or Tweet about their bad experiences. Excuse me? You can't tell me to do that. And to top it off, the schedules that they posted online, the times and prices of everything...they were ALL wrong. Not that it mattered anyway....nothing started on time or even close to it (my noon photo op eventually *started* around 3pm). And then, instead of man-ing up and taking responsibility for a crappy event, apologizing or acknowledging that he should make changes next year, the event organizer deleted comments from the facebook page and just blamed the "minor" issues on "growing pains." I met a lot of out of town and out of state visitors and attendees. I am embarrassed that this may have been their only impression of our city. Louisville can do, and deserves, so much better. I gave this 2 stars because, while it was a colossal waste of time and money, I *did* eventually get to meet, hug and get my photo taken with the Boondock Saints. But that was the *only* thing I was able to do, and I am not sure if it was worth it.

Sunday morning I went back to the photo area. When I arrived at the KICC, I found some fans…read moreactually lined up all of the way outside the building for their photos. But there did seem to be a more organized system to get these photos completed. On Sunday, I only spent approximately 2.5 hours in line for photos-an improvement from the day before. However, when it came time to pick up the photos, they were not ready and I was told to check back at 5 p.m. So I waited around with no place to go as we had already checked out of the hotel. I went back at 5 and was told it would still be a minimum of another 2 hours before the photos were ready. Having to return to work on Monday and having a two hour drive ahead of me, I could not wait an indefinite period of time to get these photos. I ended up being told to write my name and address on my ticket stubs and that they would be mailed to me. Up to this point, I have not received them, but it has only been one week. In short, this event was complete and utter chaos. There was a terrible lack of communication and completely clueless staff. Some of the volunteers tried to be helpful and others were just plain rude-maybe to their frustration at the lack of information. There was no helpful signage ANYWHERE. This had to have been the most disorganized event I have ever attended. Between hotel, VIP ticket, costume, gas and food, I spent between $800-$1000 to attend this event and spent the majority of my time standing in lines like cattle. My first con-and I doubt I will ever go to one again. I was shocked when I returned home to see so many negative tweets from other frustrated attendees with exactly the same complaints. If this con is this organized two years in a row, why would anyone ever think you might get it right in the future?

I absolutely love VR and have experienced VR on multiple platforms. One of the best features of…read moreSandbox VR is that you have a vest that provides feedback and you have wrist and ankle monitors. This allows you to play games without having a controller in your hand which is great for games like Squid Games and Seekers of the Shard, where you use your non weapon hand to throw magic. Even though the rooms look massive, reduce each wall by about 2 feet or so and that's the boundaries of the VR box. It is still a lot of room, but it becomes crowded with 6. I'd prefer to have 3-4 people as this is the sweet spot. You WILL be moving around and the space adds to the immersion. Some of the games require you to reach out and touch other players to "revive" them but you don't actually have to touch each other, just get your hand close enough. It's a really cool mechanism but could be awkward when playing with people you don't know well enough. Overall a very good experience despite us having some initial issues with lagging in some of our groups headsets, but the staff fixed them quickly and the game is paused when this happens so you don't lose too much of the experience as long as you report it quickly. I WILL be back! Anxious to try Rebel Moon
