Steve has been extremely responsive to my pest control needs. He came out immediately when I called him after finding a roach (gross!) in my kitchen back in June. Then he came back out two weeks later when I was still seeing bugs intermittently. I contacted him to ask about wasp nest removal and he said it was no problem and that it's included in the $85 charge that gets me three months of coverage. Update: I received a text message after posting my review. He apologized and stated he's been overwhelmed due to our current circumstances, which is understandable. He offered to come out immediately and complete services free of charge due to the inconvenience. He arrived, was extremely apologetic and took care of my property. I appreciate the fact that he reached out to me after my review, handled it in a professional way, and was willing to do whatever necessary to make things right. I will continue to conduct business with him. I moved into my house a year ago and was lucky enough to come across these guys. I've been dealing with them ever since. I've dealt with a few no-shows and poor communication but he seemed to always have a good reason after the fact. Well, I left a voicemail with him about two weeks ago to schedule service. He finally responded, via text, a week later. We scheduled my appointment for today (June 6th) between 9am and 10am. Yesterday, June 5th, he showed up to my house a little after 10am apologizing for being late. I told him that my appointment was for the following day. I wish I would have just allowed him to spray, but my daughter was asleep at the time. Well, today (the day of my appointment) he's a no-show. No call, text, nothing. I texted him a little after 11 to see if he were still coming, but I haven't received a response. I've even tried calling, but he didn't answered. It's now 1330 and I've yet to hear anything from him. He's done this before, but this is the last time. He's a great guy (quite friendly), and does a great job when he actually shows. read more

On Wednesday September 1st I booked pest control with this company for today from 9 to 10am as requested via the phone. Seeing that they didn't show up I called and no answer so I left a message. A representative calls me back apologizing saying that they didn't receive my text for booking. Then we settled on him coming over at 11am since he was going to be in the area. I will start off with saying Steve is very friendly and over the phone gave a great first impression. We messaged on Yelp and then spoke on the phone. The Yelp conversation and phone conversation happened on a Tuesday. Steve asked me to text him the address and date/time we agreed on. His rate was good $85 to spray and check out my daughters attic to make sure there were no pests up there. I had no doubt this would be a good experience. A few days later (Friday) the appointment time came and went. Steve was a no show. My daughter texts him and he says he doesn't have her down as an appointment but he can do it the next day. Steve doesn't come the next day or message her back. I text Steve and remind him of our multiple conversations and the appointment he had scheduled and he has no clue of talking to me. I even sent him screenshots of my call log. Very frustrating experience. It sounds like Steve is overwhelmed with his work. Nice guy but not dependable. read more

After seeing an American roach (the bugger was big...too big for my liking) crawling up my living room curtain this morning, I cursed the wretched thing, ran into my room, cursed myself because i left my cell on the coffee table so i had to go back out there with that THING still chillin on the curtain.... and ran back to my room..and started searching for pest control. Yelp does this thing where after booking/requesting quotes online, it gives you other businesses you can contact about about the same issues/needs. Very professional and friendly. Told him all the issues I was having with the bugs getting into my home, and he took it from there. I appreciated his friendliness and his honesty. The very next day we found several dead bugs all around the perimeter of our home. That did not happen with the previous pest company we used. He sprayed every inch of our homes perimeter. They also use pet friendly chemicals so I didn't have to take 2 hours off of work to keep my cat out of the house. The price was very fair. He was on-time. Don't pay for your services all at once up front if Steve says he has to come back to finish the work. You won't be able to get him on the phone. He sealed in a dead possum under our hvac in this 90 degree weather and dodged all my husbands calls and only answered when I called from a separate number. This took place over a couple weeks. Said he would come take care of it and never did and never called back. He never finished the job we paid him for. We feel taken advantage of and ripped off. read more

Update. Apparently there was issues with communication back and forth and Steve thought that everything had been taken care of. Honest mistake. With that being said Steve came out today and finished everything up. Not only that but also refunded us which was so sweet. He obviously takes great pride in his work and cares about his business. So we originally called Steve about 4 months ago because we had a rat problem. We had a fantastic first experience where he put out the bait traps and explained he would have to come back out to seal the points of entry. Fantastic. Since that time I've been able to get ahold of him once to see if he would come fill the spots seeing as that was all included in the price we paid not just the traps. He said he'd be able to come out that day while I was at work which I was completely okay with because it was a few holes in the backyard at the edge of the house and by the crawl space entrance. Upon returning home I checked and the holes were not taken care of. I have called and left numerous voicemails as well as texted and have received no response. As stated above we paid to have the traps and the bait stations as well as all points of entry sealed. This wouldn't be such a big deal if we could just get a refund and have another company come do it, but as I said I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone. This is quite obviously not a dependable company, you can't reach anyone and they are completely okay with just taking your money. If you are looking for someone long term and reliable I would definitely look somewhere else. Which is quite disappointing because after the first appointment I thought we found a company that would be our long term service provider. read more

He did a good job and worked with my schedule and my picky pet issues. Furthermore, he was communicative--we rescheduled because of rain, which I also appreciate. I think any other big corporate pest control would have happily done the treatment, rain be damned. Everyone/business has bad service days. I guess I was just on the receiving end of his bad luck with his phone. So, I've updated my review. It's rare that a business actually apologizes for its failures, but he did, and I appreciate that. ____ Nice guy and does a thorough job, but is a little flakey. We've been stood up a few times. The last time, I thought we were all confirmed. He seems to prefer to work by text, so I texted confirmed between 5-6pm. I went home a little early, skipped my workout at the gym. Didn't hear anything. Went out in my back yard, opened my front gate, kept my phone on me and worked in the garden with an eye on my driveway. Nobody came. 5:55 I texted to see if we were still on. No response. Finally at 6:30 assumed he wasn't coming. I texted and asked to get back on the schedule for another appt. Nothing. A few more texts and finally after I said I'd call someone else, got a text back saying he got incredibly busy and do I want an appt. for the following week. I responded ok, but no more no-shows. Heard nothing back. Ugh. This is problematic to me, especially because I've referred your business to my friends, at least one of whom has hired you. I hope you will accept this review as an opportunity to improve your services, particularly with scheduling and communication. Point 1: Nice isn't enough. Good work is important, but again, it's not enough. I'm busy. I value your time and I do expect that if I'm going to give you my business, you will value my time as well. That means, if you cannot make it, you need to communicate with me and be proactive. Don't leave me waiting for you to come so I'm skipping a trip to the gym or foregoing other errands. Point 2: Accept valid criticism. Saying "no more no-shows" when you know well that you've stood us up more than once is not being rude, it's pointing out an honest flaw. I'm stating my conditions for continuing with your business. As much as I want to support your small business, I cannot right now. I've given you an opportunity to make it right and you did not, which is why at this point, I can only give the 2 star rating. Very similar to everyone else. I used this company for a home I purchased. I was out of state when I purchased the house due to being military. I arrived at my home after being shown an invoice for the work he did totaling to over $3,000 which had already been paid. I started to notice the work was only half done and reached out to him. Very responsive he came and checked everything. He said " this is not how we do business these things should not be this way. It looks like my employee was in a rush to leave. Unacceptable" we then discussed a time frame. I was told Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. I messaged on Thursday to a response of "we got busy. Does Saturday or Wednesday work" I said either day is fine. On Sunday I began reaching out to no avail. Thursday I got a response he was out of town. That was the last communication I had. I have since completed the work myself only to find more corners cut and things I have to redo. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more
