There's no room to park or hang out at the picnic table without bumping into your neighbor on both sides. It seems like most full-timers live towards the back. The facilities are decent, including laundry, bathrooms, and showers. The dog park is a bit of a letdown. It's a sandbox and not very clean. I've seen dog owners not pick up after their dogs' poop. It's smells bad. Did I mention poor reception for ATT? I think this whole area. Overall, this place works for a quick stopover, but there are some issues that need to be addressed.

Hookups are 50amp however they put a adapter there so we just did are regular hookup. The staff Kelsey was very polite, kind and went out of her way to assist me. We parked in spot 54. There was a nice large size piece of real grass there compared to any other RV spot. They are dog friendly. I would recommend this RV park to anyone. There are a lot of permanent tenants but they are quite and keep their area well kept.

Lo and behold the next morning in the spot next to our friends was a travel trailer the same size as ours if not smaller! A lot of full timers here as well. Not my cup of tea. I needed to use the bathroom this morning and there was no AC in the bathrooms! It has been triple digits here in Reno and I can't imagine using bathroom during the heat of the day. We will never come here again. The KOA in Boomtown was much nicer. We would have stayed there but we wanted to be with our friends.

We found River's Edge and it worked for us. Monthly rent is reasonable, swimming pool, mail boxes, allowed our 19 yo motorhome to rent here. The manager is on site from 7 am to 3pm, M-F. She told us which site was available. We were able to park during the weekend then I did the lease and payment on Monday. It is along the Truckee River. This place is ideal for out of town workers who need a place to stay with their RV. It is a budget friendly option. It is off a busy street and in the path of Reno Airport, which doesn't bother us since we are from the San Francisco Bay Area. This is white noise for us.....lol. We were lucky to get the last spot. If you want to see about availability you need to go to the office in person from 7 am to 3pm.

Full experience below: I was flabbergasted by the way Zephyr Cove Resort treated us this weekend. Had I known of their horrible business practices, I would never have purchased from this resort.  We purchased the Sunset Wine Tasting Tour and the afternoon of the tour were informed we had been moved to the Dinner Tour on a different boat. That is not at all what we paid for and even in the case of an emergency cancelation, we would have expected to be offered a choice between a refund and the new tour.  I bought the tour I did to celebrate my anniversary with my husband. He was recently diagnosed with stage IV cancer and this was likely our last anniversary. We planned our whole Tahoe trip around the wine tour, took time off work, and paid for accommodations for both us and a babysitter. We picked this tour specifically for the smaller boat and we picked a weekday night specifically so there would be fewer people. We wanted a romantic sunset boat ride and we needed fewer people because of my husband's cancer.  We contacted Viator as soon as we found out about the tour change, and they were baffled because nobody at Viator was aware of any change. So we headed to the dock anyway. When we arrived, we found out that the tour truly was canceled. Why? Because they decided it wasn't profitable to give us what we paid for. Viator confirmed at least 25 people had paid for this tour, so even that wasn't enough. Instead everyone who paid for that tour were shunted over to a big boat packed with so many people you couldn't even pull a chair out. It was loud and packed and absolutely not what we paid for.  Based on other people's reviews, I'm sure the tour would be delightful if you get to go on it. But don't take the risk. Just book someone else.

The majority is rented out to low income or disabled people. I found a woman literally passed out in a car in front of the unit my family stayed in. She was clearly under the influence, folded forward in the front seat, a cigarette in her mouth broken from when her face hit the gear shift. There was a broken down, denied, paint peeling car in a parking spot in front of our unit that didn't move the entire time we were staying there. The "gym" is gross. Ancient broken equipment. No towels. Nothing to sanitize before you use the equipment (if you can get it to work). Tbere is seldom anyone in the office to help if you have an issue. When there IS someone they don't help - even if they could. The resort doesn't hesitate to tell lies to get people to stay. For example, the website says you can purchase high speed secure internet for the week. False. There is no high speed internet. There isn't even internet to be purchased. The "open" internet has no internet connection. They have people staying here who are just plain nasty and they bring more people (who don't live here and who aren't resort exchange visitors) who are running around, yelling, leaving trash and belongings wherever they happen to land. The midweek tidy up is a joke. They didn't clean anything ... dishes, shower ... nothing. They left a stack of towels and put some in the wall holder. The shower broke so we couldn't even take showers - had to use the tub. The good thing is that maintenance came quickly to fix it. The inside of the unit is pleasant, but nothing fancy. The TVs aren't smart .... and why would they be? The internet doesn't work. There is a tiny DVD player connected to the back of the TV and it sits on the table where you are supposed to eat. Why? Because the TV is wall mounted and there is no credenza, tv table or anything under the TV to put the DVD player on. If you want to move the dining table away from the wall and actually eat at it, you have to put the DVD player on the floor There is very little counter space. And what little is there is is occupied by a microwave, tiny toaster and plastic coffee maker. Glass wear is on a glass shelf that looks like it hasn't been dusted in months. Finally, this "resort" (not) is in a very sketchy neighborhood. I do not hesitate to say this is the WORST "resort" I have ever stayed in ... for this pit, I exchanged my unit in Hawaii. I'm just disgusted!
