It was such a cozy spot that really hit the spot. I got a green tea boba with passionfruit flavor and an egg salad croffle. Everything felt like a super filling breakfast, and the whole thing came out to just $11. The drink was a nice tall iced one too. Service was pretty quick--I had my order in hand in like five minutes--and the staff was genuinely nice. I'd definitely recommend coming in the morning while it's still quiet. The place is brand new, so it's not getting much traffic yet, but once word spreads, it's probably gonna get packed.

As a lover of bubble tea, when I was in the area I stopped by Yaaas Tea. I noticed instantly that they sell food which is different than your typical bubble tea store. I wasn't there for food, so I just got a "Passion Dragonfruit refresher" with boba & lychee jelly. It was good. I love passion fruit & dragonfruit so getting it together was tasty!

Who says I'm a Yelp Elite? I am! Today I went here all by myself on a not so cold Thursday late morning to go to my fourteenth Yelp Elite Event feeling good that I got the regular milk tea, egg tart and banana pudding that it was amazing and delicious. The service there was very friendly and pleasant and thanks to the owner/manager named Amy. I couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely come back again next time! :)

Leah inspired me to write this review. She went above and beyond from the second we walked up to the counter. She was professional and friendly. The drinks she made were delicious. She was taking orders, making orders, and cleaning the whole store. She was so good at her job and giving recommendations for drinks, desserts, and ingredients, you would think she was the CEO of Yaaas Tea!

I was so happy to see Yaaas Tea open up in Queens! I've been to their other locations, and had checked them out during their grand opening. They are conveniently located by the train station and bus stop. I got here a little after 7 AM, which is when they open. I love that they're open so early, since most bubble tea spots don't open until 10-11 AM. This is great for a quick grab before work. Street parking was easy around the corner at this time. They have a couple tables and counter seating if you're looking to sit and chill a while, or even stay indoors while waiting for your bus! The service is very friendly and informative. I knew what I wanted to order, so I ordered at one of the two kiosks they have at the counter. I got myself an Iced Matcha Oat Milk Tea and a Chicken Salad Croffle. I barely waited 5 minutes. There were people who ordered pickup and their drinks were ready for them when they came in. The Iced Matcha Oat Milk Tea (light ice, 25% sugar) could use a bit more matcha, since oat milk has a strong flavor. There are other customizations you can make (such as boba or cream), so I wish there was an option to add more matcha. It wasn't sweet at all, which I enjoyed. I'll probably stick to the Iced Dark Chocolate Matcha Oat Milk Tea, which I got last time. The Chicken Salad Croffle was packed with a good amount of chicken salad. The salad is peppery, not overly sauced, and has a nice crunch of celery, all of which is complimented by the crisp and slightly sweet croffle. I ate mine over an hour later and it held its shape perfectly. Definitely a great spot to hit for your caffeine fix and breakfast (available all day), especially if it's along the way of your commute.

I'm thrilled that Kew Gardens/ Forest Hill now has a boba tea shop! This is a brand I've followed on social media. I know they opened a location in Long Island. So, when my friend told me they opened one nearby, I couldn't wait to try their drinks. This is my second visit, and I haven't been disappointed. The service was great. They didn't take long to make my drink. I went early in the day when it wasn't busy. The place was quiet. I ordered an Earl Grey milk tea with coconut milk. I was surprised to see coconut milk as an option since it's rare at boba shops. I prefer it over whole milk, so I was happy to have the choice. The drink wasn't too sweet. It was just right. I'll definitely be coming back for more whenever I'm in the area. I also love the interior. It's cozy, and I especially love the blue and white color.

After a long day of weekend errands, we end it with boba. This isn't far from our home, so we made a stop here. There hasn't been any good boba by us so we were skeptical. To our surprise, it's actually very good and the people there were very nice. Amy was helpful and pleasant to speak to. She even gave us some cookies, and they were crunchy sweet heaven. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea with YAAAS creme. It was so fragrant and I couldn't stop myself from drinking it before taking a picture for yelp. 5/5 for taste, quality, service and most importantly proximity to my home (probably a bad thing to be honest)

Wow...my 800th review. Yay! Welcome Yaaas Tea to Forest Hills and Queens! They are known for their fresh boba made on every hour. The team has expanded from LI into Queens! Congratulations to the owner of the Queens location, Michelle Chan along with her 3 High School friends, and CEO, Kelly Zhou. The employees are welcoming and willing to help you if you are unsure of what to order. They have croffle sandwiches (crossiant in the shape of waffles with various fillings including tuna which is a new option), bobo drinks, refreshers, milk tea, and coffee. I got the iced caramel macchiato coffee with coconut and jasmine milk tea. Delicious as usual! Go check them out! Forgot to take a picture of of the iced caramel.

Caramel Milk Tea & plain croffle for my son

So good, I had to go back. This time for my son. He approved of the croffle and the caramel Milk Tea he requested. We reside closer to another location; yet I was at a UFT Summit. The packaging was perfect for travel with no spillage (cup holder at bottom). An appreciation for the function, quality and taste of products. I only wish there was more seating. I was lucky to have a sit down as my order was serviced.

First Yaas tea in Queens finally! I was super excited as I heard great things about the Long Island branches. I was so lucky to have met the owners/partners, and they're all so friendly. Yaaas Tea has the freshest boba. They make boba by the hour and it's so good. It's one of best that I've tried. They have fruit drinks along with other milk tea flavors. They also serve croffle sandwiches and thin and crispy cookies. I haven't tried the croffle sandwiches, but I'm a fan of their thin and crispy cookies. I personally like butter pecan cookies and my kids like the red velvet ones. They also have chocolate chip cookies which is also good. I like that it's not too sweet and it comes in a cute container so the cookies won't crumble. The crispiness goes so well with bubble tea. The place is so cute, there's a kiosk and also cashier. The back is open so you can see them making boba and drinks. It's very nice and bright. There's also plenty of tables and a bar counter.

Cute new bubble tea spot in the neighborhood. I stopped by on Sunday around 11am and there was no wait at all. The staff were really helpful and constantly checking in on us to make sure we had no issues ordering through their touch screen kiosks. It was their grand opening promotion, so all the cold drinks were 50%. What a steal! I got two drinks for around $7 after tips. They also gave us complimentary multi-wire charger-- so nice of them. I'm glad I made the trek to try this. For me, since I am sensitive to dairy, I got a dairy-free Iced Strawberry Matcha Oat Milk Tea. It was tasty and refreshing. It might not be my first choice for next time since you can taste the oat milk. But this definitely set a high bar for my next drink. We also got the Iced White Mocha Brulee with Boba. Boba was delicious--perfectly cooked and nicely sweetened. The drink was refreshing and tasty. It is a tad bit sweet if you finish the whole thing in one sitting.

    Iced Caramel Macchiato with Boba
    Carina H.

I Iced Caramel Macchiato with Boba, which tasted like a Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino with boba. It was a tad bit too sweet for me, so I should have either adjusted the sweetness or picked another flavor. I really like the boba here, and I think they have the best flavor selection and tapioca in the area. I also had a sip of my friend's earl gray boba, which was good. She said the tea flavor/tea strength tasted Taiwanese, and she herself is from Taiwan. The service is friendly, and on a weekend, my friend and I got our order after about a 5 minute wait.

A court injunction barred the US operators from using the brand's trademarks, forcing a viral rebrand to "? Tea" in New York. Headquarters' Allegations: According to court documents, the corporate office revoked the operators' trademark rights after claiming: - Unauthorized Expansions: The US operator opened a Los Angeles location without prior corporate approval. - Unapproved Ingredients: The franchise was sourcing ingredients independently, violating strict corporate quality and recipe standards. - Hiding Profits: Headquarters accused the operators of voiding their contract by allegedly hiding store revenues and bypassing royalty payments. The Franchisee's Perspective: The US operators disputed the claims. Before the courts stepped in, franchisees alleged that corporate HQ had attempted to aggressively renegotiate the ownership equity, attempting to slash the operator's share from 80% to 30% after the US locations proved highly lucrative. Current Status & Rebranding: Due to the legal injunction, the affected stores were forced to scrub the name "Molly Tea" from their storefronts, uniforms, and delivery apps. The operator complied by covering up the logos and using hand-drawn question marks on cups, quickly earning the nickname "? Tea" among fans.

We walked into a cozy space with a comfortable feel that makes it easy to settle in for a bit, and the atmosphere strikes a nice balance between modern and relaxed. The drinks themselves are the main draw and largely deliver. We ordered the Coconut Mango Boom, the standout on the menu, and it came loaded with a generous chunk of actual mango that made the whole thing feel more substantial than your average fruit tea. The Triple Matcha is another strong option for anyone looking for a matcha drink. Toppings were consistently chewy and the flavor balance across most of the lineup leans on the lighter, less sweet side, which works well for us. Where things get complicated is the wait. This location runs long on order times fairly regularly, and during busier stretches or when delivery orders are stacking up, a single drink can take thirty to forty minutes. The staff are generally efficient and straightforward, which suits the format, but the kitchen and barista workflow seems to struggle with volume in a way that other HeyTea locations do not. If you are already a HeyTea regular, the Long Island City location is a convenient option for the area, and the menu quality holds up to what the brand does elsewhere. Just plan accordingly on timing and you will leave happy. We would come back for the Coconut Mango Boom, but we would order ahead and build in a buffer before we need to be anywhere else.

Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.
