Cool little cocktail bar in Cole neighborhood next to a French restaurant Brasserie Brixton. There's no sign or anything just a door guy outside checking ID's before heading. My buddy and came here on a Saturday night around 1030ish pm and the place was happening. You can't tell from the outside because the windows were tinted. Luckily for there was an open space at the bar. We ordered a couple Old Fashioned and Mezcal Margarita with was fantastic. The Old Fashioned wasn't that sweet just how i like it. The vibe was great, everyone seems to be having a great time including us. The bartender was fantastic ask well. The only food they serve here is hot dogs. Which in my opinion was fantastic. We ordered few dogs to-go. All dogs were made to order. We got The Lorraine Dog and The Caviar Dog. Each bite the dog had a nice snap to it. Overall, we had a good fun time there and the best part, it was just a 5 minute walk from our Airbnb. read more

So I had just finished eating at the French restaurant that's attached here. I wasn't ready to go home quite yet so I wandered in here. The bartender was nice and I got my drink fast. Great prices as well. The employees checked on me constantly ensuring that I was taken care of and pleasant as well. It's very small and everyone had to jockey for seats but it was still pleasant as the customers were nice as well and shared chairs and tables. read more

My friend had just recently discovered this place and thought I'd like it and she was not wrong. They have seasonal drink specials I've never heard of combining - like champagne and chocolate with cheddar or mezcal and rose. I went with The Grand Wazoo cocktail with cider, guava, chamomile, and saffron. I'm not sure I loved the combination, but very open to coming back to trying the other drinks! The waitress was also nice to let me add a caviar bump for $5 which is such a steal. There's also a small hot dog menu, but since we were coming from dinner, did not partake in that. All in all, I would probably describe this as an "elevated dive bar" and would definitely recommend. read more

I came for the pop up Oyster bar on a Wednesday night but stayed for multiple cocktails and then of course was hungry again so, I ordered the Hollywood Frank. The gourmet hot dog concept is cool but, feels a bit off with the vibe of the bar. The Hollywood Frank was interesting not sure my brain could process that it was hot dog but tasted like an Italian beef sandwich. The beverage I had on repeat was the Nothing In Between, give me any drink with Yuzu and I will be happy. I was fascinated by the fact the drink was completely clear. What a vibe!! I loved this bar so much. I came here with two of my friends and we had a great time. The drinks here utilize natural wine, which I love, but the cocktails are also incredibly unique. I got an old bay martini, which was good! I'm from Baltimore so it was like a little taste of home haha. I also ordered some of their wines, which I really loved. The bartenders helping us were attentive, friendly and fun! The music in here was great, and we happened to be there at midnight when it became my birthday and the bar made it really special! It happened to be TWO other peoples birthdays as well, but they brought us a little candle sitting in ice to blow out, and a shot of tequila. It's redundant to give it a five star rating because it gets best cocktail lounge in Denver annually. But since I don't live in Denver, it's worth my time to give it a review. And it's worth your time to check it out A pre-airport stop for a couple of cocktails and a caviar dog or the perfect Denver sendoff. All of our cocktails were absolutely delicious and I've never seen a block of ice quite so pure. The caviar dog is no joke. It may sound silly, but this isn't your average hot dog in any way shape or form. The hotdog itself is not an Oscar Meyer ballpark Frank. This is a legitimate butcher shop wiener. The crème fraîche and caviar is not just randomly plucked on there. It's artistically arranged so that every bite is the perfect combination. The simple side of a bag of potato chips is so appropriate. Even better when you shove some of the potato chips into the hotdog bun. (You can thank me later.) The chill vibe of the atmosphere and the courteous, but not overly exuberant service was on brand. read more

There's just something about a place that serves incredible cocktails, has killer vibes, hot dogs, and zero pretentiousness. Add a caviar hot dog on a dinosaur to the menu? Say less, I'm in. I've worked my way through almost the entire cocktail menu (every time they change it too) and have never been disappointed. Fun spot! I wanted to come here as I had seen they were nominated for a James Beard Award and we enjoyed it. A charming somewhat small and laid back atmosphere and certainly unique drink options to boot. I love this place and I can't wait to go back!! My only complaint is how small it is and if you're waiting for a table there isn't much room to even stand around. We ordered the bottle of Champagne, cheese ball, and 2 caviar hot dogs deal for $140. It was 10/10!!! The server accidentally brought us a diff hot dog before the caviar hot dog ( can't remember the name) it was so good!! For his mistake he gave us a free bump of caviar. The service was great. Super chill and fun dive bar, right next to once of the best French restaurants in Denver, Brasserie Brixton, so it makes for an easy before or after dinner drink spot. Drinks are pretty reasonably priced, with a decent variety of options. They also have one of the more fun NA options of a glass of classic red Koolaid. This FEELS like a neighborhood bar. It's full of people who obviously know each other, it's informal and fun, and it's often packed. It doesn't take itself too seriously (for example, one of the hot dogs is served on a dinosaur). Pros: The hot dogs are cheap and soooo good. The caviar dog was my favorite but the Italian was also good. Cons: The cocktails are fine. They have fun ingredients, but they don't really come with garnishes and they sound much better than they taste imo. Takeaways: I would still bring friends and come, but I would do it after clubbing or after already having drinks, in scenarios where maybe we want one or two more but also need FOOD that's insanely satisfying read more

4.5 stars. How have I not heard of this adorable cocktail bar within walking distance of my house? Probably because it used to be located in the Source Hotel. Now it's attached to Brasserie Brixton (which I've been meaning to visit) and relatively easy to find if you recognize the nautical logo. Yacht Club gets busy quickly after opening at 4pm, so arrive early! Love that it's one of what seems like a few places actually available in Denver on Mondays. Lots of delicious, colorful cocktails with high quality ingredients. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri which I thought was frozen, but maybe I misspoke. Still tasty and boozy. The vibes are EVERYTHING, from Les Miserables projecting on the far wall to the staff laughing with each other. The Yacht Club menu mentions inclusivity as one of their values, and that's exactly what I felt. So many more drinks I can't wait to try, in addition to the separate menu of hot dogs. read more

I don't normally write reviews for bars but this place is a hidden gem! Unique and perfectly crafted cocktails. You won't find anything else like this. A huge selection of unique drinks including a ton of clarified milk drinks that confuse your brain with how something so clear can have such a balance of flavors. Super friendly & knowledgeable bartenders (shout out to coleman!). It's the cocktails of your dreams without the pretentiousness of a cocktail bar. Unassuming almost dive bar vibes - you'd think its a place to just get a beer. But obviously don't - the bar tenders are seriously talented. Perfect spot to hang out, have fun, and enjoy amazing drinks. Bonus points is that they serve hot dogs! This bar was recently awarded as one of the best bars in North America by the 50 best discovery list and I can see why. This bar is definitely one of the best bars I've ever been to. The drinks are super unique, well balanced, and full bodied. Each drink had such a cool combination of flavors and the texture of each one was smooth. The bar tenders were also crazy fast at making the drinks but the quality was great. The place surprisingly never got too crowded and we found a spot immediately. Keep in mind we showed up around 9 and it started to get more crowded around 10 or later. The bathrooms were clean considering it's a bar and the place was fun and they played bobs burgers on the wall. All the drinks are very reasonably priced considering it's denver and how the drinks are so amazing. We had the im on soka, south side swizzle, hvr water, laughing bones, and pencil thin chinstrap. The I'm on soka was super refreshing and the bar tender actually gave us a sample of it since they pre make it and keep it in the fridge. The drink is amazing. Not too strong of absinthe and I am not a absinth drinker. The drink is so refreshing and a great way to start the night. The hvr water also is premade and was genuinely one of the best drinks I've ever had. The dill flavor was so prominent and the buttermilk which was strained out gave a really great full bodied feel to the drink. The tequila was not strong at all and the drink was very refreshing. The pencil thin chinstrap was very booze forward and definitely not my style but if you like cognac and stronger flavors like that this is the drink for you. The laughing bones had such a unique flavor and it was so good. You could actually taste the curry leaf too which blew me away. The south side swizzle was a very pretty drink although the ice was super thick and it was hard to enjoy the drink. The flavors were the least complex but it's definitely a trendy drink. The bartenders were fast, attentive, and were so good at their jobs. They were busy and yet had time to answer our questions. Seriously go to this bar and you won't regret it. Gosh I wanted so bad to love this place but the service & drinks just let me down! These may have been the worst craft cocktails I have ever had in my life. Located outside RiNo in the Cole neighborhood next to Brasserie Brixton, The Yacht Club is a whole vibe- it's darkly lit, no sign (except an anchor on the door) and looks super swanky from the outside. When you enter, the area between the door & pub is nature-y vibe & inside, it's super trendy with a dark ambiance & filled with music that is just a little to loud. We picked an open table that sat 4 but was missing a seat so it was a little awkward but we found a barstool that didn't fit but worked. The space holds maybe 40-50 people max so it's super cozy! And, who doesn't love a themed Yacht Club that serves up gourmet hot dogs & craft cocktails? There were ~3-4 bartenders that were interchangeably acting as servers too. We finally got some water as we perused the funky menu. All cocktails were $14 each & the beer selection was awful (think: miller highlife, PBR, etc). I loved the funky names & crafted liquors in each cocktail though! I tried the Milly Grace (corn whisky, mr black coffee liquor, rancio wine & caramelized banana)... served in a highball glass with an ice rock- I wanted to love it but it was so damn boozy I could hardly drink it! Joey got the Beginners Luck, which was the best of all of our drinks, albeit still so strong. My stepmom loves fruity drinks so she got the frozen banana daiquiri & it was soooo boozy too, you couldn't even taste the banana over the booze. My dad got the watermelon la crawl, which was a vodka based cocktail that was all booze & the only watermelon was from the jolly rancher they put on top. This all might have been a little better if the server actually returned to our table to see how the drinks were, or refill our water, or just to provide service... but that didn't happen. Once the drinks were on our table, we had to do the rest for ourselves- filling up water from a large gatorade cooler & getting our check from the bar. Not quite the experience you would expect from a craft cocktail lounge where you're paying good money for drinks with nice glassware...... All in all, the Yacht Club gave me really mixed feelings. I am all for $14 craft cocktails but I want a good flavor profile & not just so much booze that I can't taste anything... but the vibe was on point, I loved the space, so I may come back here for a hot dog & drink sometime but it certainly isn't on my list to return. read more

main problem is the FOOD PREPARATION (note: this is done bar side so anyone present, including unfortunately those about to be served food, can easily observe): the preparer doesn't ever wash hands, wears no gloves, touches his HANDS TO MOUTH and face repeatedly while handling bun and fixing dog, and incredibly also tastes some of the condiments in between placing on patrons' dogs, also while handling drinks, money, garbage, etc., again all while touching your food in front of you, and seemingly zero sense it is abnormal...comical unless it is your food. good bar but is also comical-not as bad as food preparation, the best thing tho is the 3.50 high life's as wine, mezcal or gin, rye, rum etc just doesn't mix very well, in a single drink, duh another reason why Denver will never be considered a real city, people in NY, LA, and other major US cities would never observe this poor quality of food preparation and tolerate, disgusting, and certainly the yuppies not vote it as a better cocktail bar, duh read more
