I've been ordering bowls from them for at least 3 years and they always have the freshest ingredients, my bowl is always ready within the time they quote for me over the phone (or sooner), and they have never missed an ingredient--which is a big deal because I usually make at least 2 alterations. It never ceases to amaze me that they have fresh blackberries (!!) year-round!Their employees have always been attentive and courteous, nothing over the top or fake which I really appreciate. I tried an Acai bowl yesterday. There was nothing in it that makes me want to go back and try something else, but I probably will due to proximity to other activities. Every time I've had an acai bowl, it's been overwhelmingly sweet. I just can't take it, and I like sweets! The reviews on this new shop have been so great, however, that I decided to give it a try. The storefront cannot be seen from the parking area. Since I came at night, this was a bit of a struggle for me, but if you just pull up in front and park curbside, it's not an issue. The people who work here are very exuberant about their store and products. I like that a lot. I got the Pyramid with almond milk, and it was fantastic! The portion was huge, and it was delicious (and not too sweet). On my second visit, I felt like the portion I received was slightly smaller, but maybe they're downsizing now that there's a clientele? You can call in and order ahead of time, if you don't want to wait in-store. I also want to try their juice delivery, but I haven't yet been able to commit. Mrs and I got the longshoreman which comes with bananas, strawberry and honey on top of a mix of different fruits in the acai bowl. I was really longing for the granola and at first glance it was plentiful, but as you get lower into the bowl it leaves you dying for more. I was out with my boyfriend and I thought of this place because I've always wanted to try their bowl! The place was a little hard to find because of no big sign or anything but it's before Stearns. They have a huge selection in them and the reason why I didn't give this place five stars was because they didn't have a wide selection. But all the good stuff about this place is mentioned right below! Bowls/Juices (4/5): I got the longshoreman acai bowl and it was excellent! I'm REALLY happy with how they make them here! The downside at jujubar is that they make their smoothie base of the bowl way to watery. The smoothie base for their bowls here are thick and perfect! Excellent texture and they layer the granola, strawberry and banana perfectly! It's almost half half! You can also replace the apple juice with some other choices they offer so I picked almond milk.
