Came here for brunch with 6 other people. They were able to accommodate us well. The staff treated us kindly and with respect. Wait wasn't too long either. Food was delicious and coffee kept coming which is a plus for me. Just fyi, Street parking will start implementing Pay to Park, but there are other free public parking lots nearby.

Great vibes here. Relaxing and friendly. I came with two friends today and enjoyed their Steak Tostada salad. Was hoping to find chilequilles or machaca scramble on the menu but nope. Fresh food with a delicious crispy shell that felt less guilty than most! Great quality steak. Strong and tasty bloodymary! I'd come here again for sure.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 This place really surprised me. The dishes came out on these white plastic plates that made the food look boring and bland. But it was the complete opposite. My bf ordered the cubano sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. It was bursting with flavor and every bite just made me want another. I literally thought to myself I have to step up my sandwich game. Highly recommend!! I myself ordered the arepa (forgot the name but it was an avocado/green one). It was also delicious! Had the perfect flavor but the chicken filling was cold. I thought it would've tasted better if it was warm to match the warm cornbread outside. I tried the beef empanada too (Venezuelan style) - delicious. Full of flavor. Service was great! All the workers are extremely nice. The guy helping us in the front provided ample recommendations and took the time to explain to me what the food was since it was my first time. Ambiance is cool, it's in downtown Pasadena so it has an indoor/outdoor situation. We sat outside and it reminded me of a city vibe. Overall, this place is fantastic and don't be fooled by the plating!

Great breakfast and lunch spot if you're craving Mexican! The food is solid and delicious! I got the E l Vampiro bc I was craving something healthy and this drink is a good mix of sweetness and vegetables. I got the Mexican Omelette with tortillas and it was very filling! There's seating inside and outside, inside a cute alley way. The staff are very friendly.

Needed a quick, delicious breakfast and happened upon Yahaira's Cafe. Everyone who works there was SOOOO NICE!!! Super cute, cozy dining room with counter and a shaded outdoor patio. And the food was terrific!!! Yummy omelette with fresh veggies, crisp bacon and loads of cheese! Their coffee is amazing!! Just a hint of cinnamon that made me ask for a to go cup!!!

It's fine. Built up an appetite and came after a walk, friend was starving and had to have pancakes. Ran out of water on the walk and it was all I wanted. We were sat quickly but the water took a while. Waiter came to take our order and I had to ask for the water first but it was a good 5 mins before that even happened. They were moderately busy, I can't make an excuse why it took the time it did. We did the bacon panini, pancakes, portobello omelette and home fries. Friend was happy to have pancakes and food lol. I never eat so early in the day and as a foodie, it just wasn't getting it for me. The nini didn't have a lot of taste/flavor. I asked for the house salsa, and even it was bland. It took a min to get the water thing down too. My glass sat empty again but then due figured out I was serious about my water. Tasted the omelette, also just fine. Nothing was memorable to me, it honestly lacked flavor. And while we're here, the panini comes w avo on it. The half I ate had none! I took the other half home in hopes of adding some flavor and bringing the other half to life. We shall see. But the way it came out, it did nothing for me. I live for Mexican food and am always looking for a good spot. Based on the taste of breakfast, I'm good. Too many other places to try that can make a bangin brekkie and make me want to try more on the menu. But I wanted to try a place I hadn't been and I did that.

Loved the kitchen that you can see into. The food was tasty and fresh, good flavors throughout . Very generous portion. Ordered the Lomito Scramble and it didn't disappoint.. saw that they make a Vampiro fresh juice (celery, beets, orange juice and carrot) and couldn't resist and it tasted delicious. I was the only one in the restaurant and it seemed like they just opened when I arrived so service was exceptional. Ambiance, place was nicely decorated with bright artwork throughout with lively paint color scheme. Definitely would go again. I stumbled on the place while I was looking for a bakery on Colorado and once I saw this place I thought why not something different and I was glad I did.

I have walked past Yahaira's Cafe on many occasions when I was in the Pasadena area, but never once did I walk inside. I was informed it served Mediterranean foods, but it turns out, they serve Mexican and/or Yucatan foods. I finally took one big leap forward and decided to check them out for the very first time last weekend. I am so glad I did! This cafe is so beautiful and colorful inside... the decor is lovely and quaint! Lots of bright colors on the walls. I found out this cafe is named after the lady owner's daughter, Yahaira. How sweet and loving is that! There is a black and white painting of gorgeous Yahaira on the wall. There are two door entries; one door on the Colorado Blvd side and the other door is slightly adjacent to it. They have outside patio seating and indoor seating. I was greeted right away by the lady owner upon my entry. Muchas gracias senora! After looking at the two menus (each had different items on them), I knew exactly what I wanted to try. Let me tell you, when I go big, I go big especially when it comes to food LOL. I ordered the Shrimp Tostada... OMG, huge and amazingly delicioso... 6 big tasty shrimps (8 would have been better because I love shrimp LOL), 1 shrimp taco (this one was the #1 best tasting... love the 4 shrimps!), 1 fish taco (this one was #2 best tasting... tons of blackened fish by the way), 1 chicken taco (this was my least preferred... chicken was a tad dry IMHO), 1 order of fries (nice, thin, and crispy... yummy!), and 1 vampiro drink (good and very healthy). One thing I loved about the tacos was the tomatos and onions were not diced, they were in strips (first time ever seeing this form on a taco)... this gave it more depth in taste. Everything was served hot on vibrant and colorful plates... they were just delish... the foods not the plates LOL! My server was really nice and pleasant. The overall service was impeccable from the time I entered the cafe until the time I left. Thank you everyone! Yahaira's Cafe staff, keep doing what you do best at your craft! Thank you for sharing your passion in cooking up some amazing Mexican foods. I appreciate your warm and welcoming hospitality. I'll be back for more of your excellent foods and service!!!

The tasty breakfast burrito. So yummy!
