    Shrimp tempura roll
    Cheryl S.

Need to walk to this from the public parking garage. Clean restaurant with country music playing. Three screens. Football at bar, a screen of people in Japan, and a screen with fall scenes and Boston. Need to order at counter and find a table yourself. We were there at 7:35p. Friendly staff. Got a Philly roll, the crispy shrimp tempura roll, and the fried chicken dish. The rolls were fine. The chicken panko crust was crunchy but the chicken was slightly tough. Wasn't dry but definitely wasn't juicy. It came in a rice bowl with sauce.

One of the best places to eat in Baytowne Wharf! Order at the counter and they'll bring your meal out to you. Large outdoor patio. Plenty of tables inside. Kids loved the chicken tenders and fries. We ate and loved: -Hibachi Katsu Chicken -Gyoza / Potstickers -Bao Buns Highly recommend eating at Yaki!

I was hoping that an Japanese restaurant would come to The Village at Baytowne Wharf. Welcome, Yaki! I love their spicy tuna roll. I do wish they offered more sushi rolls. Perhaps in the future, they will offer some special rolls. The more tuna the better! I recently tried their delicious fried noodles and vegetables with chicken. Everyone I've met there, from the owner to the waitresses and chefs are very friendly and professional. I'll be back again to try

We ducked into Yaki for a quick appetizer on a Tuesday evening around 7:30pm. In there, you seat yourself, order at the bar & then someone brings your food to you. We ordered the Bao Buns & they were pretty good! We received 3 pork & cabbage filled buns that were smothered in barbecue sauce. 2 of our buns didn't have much filling inside, but overall we enjoyed our visit!

Indoor and outdoor seating with a nice view. Order at the bar and they bring it to you. No need to wait for servers.

A great new place in Baytown. Quick and delicious! There's a good selection of lunch specials and many different things that kids would like. My kids loved the noodles. I hope this restaurant sticks around because it's a good addition to the area.

sushi looks a lot better than the texture, and a whole lot better than the taste.

December 30, 2023, dinner... This location is ideal for upscale tourists - it is right in the middle of Baytowne Wharf / Sandestin Resort. New Years Weekend. Customers walk in, order at the counter, and pay. Of course when paying, there's the question about about of tip you'd like to leave - before you get any service and before you eat any of their food. I opted for no tip. (this review is not based on the tip issue - many places do this nowadays). After ordering, get your own drinks from the coke dispenser (like McDonald's kinda thing) and grab a table; they bring the food to your table. Seven of us for dinner, 4 had sushi... at this Japanese restaurant. Not one of us were impressed with the sushi. The taste and texture was bland, with a somewhat 'bitter' aftertaste. The seaweed wrap was tough - could not even tear it apart without significant force. This quite reminded us of the sushi one would get at a Publix - but multiply the price by 5 or so. We do not recommend sushi at this Japanese restaurant.

We love Yaki! This is our second time coming here and it doesn't disappoint. Our toddler even enjoys eating the noodles and chicken. My husband tried the Fuji Apple Saki warmed and it was very good. The apple taste was nice and refreshing.

We stopped by and didn't realize that they were about to close... I said no, no, we'll go someplace else, so y'all can go home. The owner Quang said absolutely no you are staying here! As a previous restaurant owner, I know if you are ready to leave and someone walks in - well, you take care of them, but you really would rather go home!! Yaki's sushi was fresh and delicious!! He even gave us a special treat because I asked for something that wasn't on their menu!! Suki, our server, was so sweet, and even though we were the only table - they treated us like royalty!! Thank you Yaki for fixing us up!! Great fresh food, superior service and very clean!! 5

Excellent place to dine. Nice location and really good service. Don't expect a fast pace as the food is definitely made to order. The house salad could be a meal on its own. Sytara was very pleasant, courteous and professional.

JackaCuda's is a seafood and sushi restaurant located in Destin, Florida. We stopped in for lunch…read morebecause most of the other restaurants were too crowded. This restaurant was completely empty, which was definitely not a great sign. Regardless, we were happy to be seated and decided to stay and dine-in. First off, this restaurant, aesthetically, is very nice. It's decorated well and has a large bar. Our server happened to be the bartender, Keith. He was friendly but it was obvious they were desperate for business. He almost never left our table. It is what it is, he wasn't rude, but you could tell he was bored and possibly lonely as well. The food was hit or miss, truly. We started with the Crispy Pork Dumplings, which were really good. We also enjoyed the Fried Shrimp Rangoons. They had a nice texture and filling to them. Our entrees weren't as good -- my Poké Bowl was too fishy and needed more sauce/seasoning. My Mom's Mahi Mahi Sandwich was alright -- the fish was good quality but it was overly salty. The kick in the shins was at the end, when we received our bill. This place adds a 20% "service fee" to all orders. This brought our bill from about $65 to nearly $80. So, given the service charge, I don't think we'd come back. But I hope more customers come in, Keith is great socially.

Best P.F. Chang's I've ever set foot in, and it's not even close…read more I know reviewing a second P.F. Chang's is a little ridiculous. But there are levels to this, and this place is the pinnacle. I was blown away by how nice it is. The room is beautifully designed and clean top to bottom, run like a fine-tuned machine. And the kitchen? Incredible. The food was perfect. Every single bite. The cocktails were excellent, and everything came out piping hot. The whole family was in heaven. The P.F. Chang's back home is fine. Just okay, a typical chain. This is a different animal. If you're anywhere near Destin, make the trip for this one specifically. It's Shangri-La. Stop reading and go.

St. Germain Elderflower, Strawberry Lychee, Pineapple, Lemon, and Hendrick's...a recipe for the taking. It was absolutely delicious. Fun Fact: this cocktail recipe has a huge following that they keep bringing back by popular demand. My husband went with the Japanese Old Fashioned and enjoyed it thoroughly. The food was great. And the cheesecake we ordered to go was even better. The vibes were divine. Dark and moody with eye-catching artwork and decor. Loved the wine glasses that adorned each table. We were seated in a booth that could easily fit six people but to us it felt like a big hug. Our waitress Michelle was attentive and made sure our experience was a memorable one. In fact everyone we came in contact with made it a warm and welcoming visit.
