Everyone had arrived by the time we got there, so we were seated right away. Once our orders were placed, the food came out surprisingly quickly, which was impressive considering how much we ordered. There were plenty of beef options, and honestly, almost everything we tried was worth getting. My personal standouts were the Miso Marinated Steak, Prime Kalbi, and Sweet Soy Marinated Short Ribs. For pork, the Miso Pork Belly was my favourite. For chicken, I only tried the wings, but I really liked that they were sliced from the wing to make them essentially a single bone, which made them much easier to cook and eat. The vegetables were fresh, with my top three being the Cheese Corn, Garlic Enoki Mushrooms, and Pineapple. I didn't personally try the seafood, but there were four seafood selections available. For sides, I tried the Edamame (no salt) and the Brown Sugar Sticky Rice Roll. There were also sashimi and sushi options. I really enjoyed the Beef Tataki and Smoked Salmon Tataki, followed by the Golden Salmon Roll and Hokkaido Scallop Roll. For rice, I went with the Bibimbap, and for noodles, I tried the Cold Noodles. The flavour was good, but the portion was extremely small -- basically only about two bites. The pop drinks were refillable with a one-time fee, while the other drinks were available for an additional charge and had to be requested from the server. They're displayed near the condiments and dessert area. And of course, dessert! My personal favourites were the Matcha/Vanilla Soft Serve, Mango Pudding, and the Coffee and Matcha Pudding. There is a 2-hour limit per table, but I personally felt that was plenty of time. We were able to order a lot, try a wide variety of food, and leave extremely full. If anything, I probably overdid it and should have taken it a little easier! One thing I really appreciated was the seating. There was noticeably more space between tables compared with many other AYCE Korean/Japanese BBQ restaurants I've been to. The restaurant also felt well-ventilated and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you're sitting around a grill for two hours. Overall, I felt the experience was well worth the time and money, especially for a group dinner or birthday. There are so many options that I already know what my favourites are for next time -- which means I'll hopefully be a little more strategic with how much I order!

The meat itself wasn't bad, but it was too thin for any real juice or chew. Thick-cut steak is the winner--tender, beefy and juicy. SKIP the miso version: fattier, chewier and noticeably lower quality. · Pork Two pork belly cuts + two pork neck flavours. Thai-marinated pork neck is tasty, but pieces are small and freshness is average. · Seafood Limited selection. Squid tastes a little stale; shrimp is standard frozen shrimp. · Veggies Good mushroom selection + pineapple. Honey sweet potato is a must--crispy, sweet and perfect for making your own caramelized sweet potato. · Sides Fried capelin is worth reordering. Most other fried items, especially shrimp--tiny shrimp + thick batter that turns soggy with sauce. Beef & salmon sashimi are surprisingly good, with impressively thin cuts. Matcha pudding lacks tea flavour; caramel pudding lacks egg richness. BUT--unlimited soft serve! Matcha leans more green tea, but it's tasty, and vanilla is nicely milky.
