Babaganouj was very tasty and so were the falafels and grape leaves. The hummus was decent. The quantity was quite good and could easily be shared between 3-4 people as an appetizer. For our main, we ordered Grilled Trio which consisted of 1 Beef tenderloin kabob, 1 Kafta kabob and 1 chicken kabob with French fries & side salad. To our surprise , out came a very sad looking plate with 3 measly kabobs, that felt like they were sitting on the grill for hours, then reheated and served. The cost was about $22 and was not worth it at all. In fact the amount of french fries were triple that of the meat. Skip the french fries as they were soggy and not thoroughly cooked. There was no flavor in the meat and for the serving size the price was way too high. For the dessert, we tried Taste of Beirut Ashta (Lebanese clotted cream pudding, topped with honey & pistachio). It was tasty specially for someone who loves cream based desserts but again not worth $8.00. All in all a mixed experience! read more

This is a locals spot and if you like Lebanese food you should try it. Truly inspired food. It started with the Must platter, which was delicious, and every course was even better than the last. They perfectly blend herbs, spices, creaminess and citrus, for flavor that is just brilliant. The tabloueh was the absolute best I've ever had- how they transformed parsley into poetry was artful. The shwarma was amazing and the rice, which is too often a bland afterthought at most places, was buttery and flavorful. My roommate and I won a gift certificate for Yalla about 2 years ago, and so we gave it a shot. From the outside, you wouldn't think much of this place and the decor inside I guess it was the main dining room, wasn't any better. Very small, sparse, and strange, with areas covered in sheets and curtains - like they were in the middle of a construction project. And apparently, the only waitress was a very young girl who didn't speak much English. When we sat down, our table was completely bare - no placemats, silverware, napkins, salt & pepper ... nothing. And even after we ordered - still nothing. We had to repeatedly ask her to bring us napkins, water, utensils, bread, butter, ketchup, etc. I wasn't impressed so far and didn't have a lot of hope for the food. Surprisingly, the food was actually pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but all things considered, it was good - and so were their prices. Here's hoping that they have done some renovations since we were there and trained their staff on how to set a table. read more

We went to this place on a Monday at around 2 pm and we enjoyed it for ourselves. We felt super comfortable having an indoor experience, tables are separated enough. The service was great, our waiter was attentive since the moment we arrived and it looks like it's definitely a family run business. Between the wraps, we found the chicken one to be more tasty, but the beef one was good too, they were big and filling. It's definitely worth checking and supporting this place. read more

So, I'm going to write this without trying to sound like a jerk (it probably won't work). I've had great Lebanese food in Dubai, Medina, London, New York, Houston, Dallas, LA, San Fran, Boston etc. I am so surprised to say this is the best or one of the best places I have ever eaten Lebanese food - anywhere. Yes - anywhere. Let that sink in. Metheun is beating out London and NYC. The family recipes are authentic and the food quality is outstanding. The key here is that they add something special/extra to every dish that makes it unique and amazing. I won't give away their mother's secrets, but here are a few recommendations. (1) Get the grilled chicken. On any dish and in any form, it doesn't matter. It's super high quality meat, it's juicy and grilled to perfection. Every time I go there. Every time. It's crazy...so many people mess up grill chicken and make it dry. Not here. (2) The baklava has some special ingredients that takes it to the next level (ok, ok...they add a little rose water). Have it in the restaurant for the full experience and made sure to have it with the authentic Lebanese coffee (Rakweht Ahwe). The flavors go together beautifully! I could go on about the kebabs, the falafel, the kibbe (get it raw - killer) and a bunch of other things, but you get the point. I literally will drive 45 minutes just for the chicken kebabs. Totally worth it - you'll just have to take the word of a stranger on this one! :-) read more

My friend, Katrina and I had the best lunch here at Yalla today. Celine, who is the daughter in their family owned business served us and was excellent. She was busy handling the lunch crowd by herself and still took plenty of time to explain what certain things were like the Kafta which was delicious. She is beautiful and had a huge smile on her face for everyone! We split the Yalla Let's Share mixed grill which had 2 skewers each of chicken, lamb, steak and kafta kabobs with grilled vegetables. It came with a salad 1st along with delicious pita bread and we chose the rice as a side. It was delicious and such a large portion that we each took home leftovers. It was only $30 which is relatively inexpensive considering the cost of everything. I highly recommend trying the Rose water lemonade which was delicious and refreshing. Had the most amazing time at Yalla Mediterranean Grill this weekend! I've heard amazing reviews of Yalla and I was so excited to get there. The pita itself was very good and had the perfect thinness. The falafel was flavorful and crispy on the outside, and the tahini, tomatoes, and pickles in the wrap provided a nice balance of flavors. The fries and rose water lemonade were great as well. Our waitress/hostess was charming and attentive. I am in love with this place. Went on Monday and it was so good we went back today (Wednesday). Monday I had the beef shawarma and it was the best I have ever had. The babaghanoush was amazing. My BF's Lebanese Sausage sooo tasty. But the best thing was the Ashta a fluffy dish of heaven. It was the driving factor for going back again so soon. I needed more of it. Tonight we had the Kabob dinner for two. Each Kabob was tender and tasty and I can't pick a favorite. Steak, Lamb, Chicken and Kafta all perfection on a stick. My wife and I went there on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 PM. We were quickly seated and attended to by a pleasant young lady. The dine-in area isn't large or fancy but it is nicely decorated and very clean. We started off with a hummus appetizer. My wife had the Makanek wrap (Lebanese beef sausages sautéed in a lemon tomato sauce & hummus spread) and I had the Lamb Kebab wrap (Charbroiled sirloin cubes, lettuce, grilled tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled green peppers and house dressing). My wrap had no shortage of meat and was bursting with fresh flavor. If you're in the area you deserve to treat yourself to "real deal" Mediterranean and Lebanese food at this family owned and operated establishment. Outstanding felafel wraps. The felafel was perfect. The radishes are a nice touch. Vey nice service. Decor is minimal, and the dining area is fairly small. It appears that they do mostly take-out service. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the lentil soup.
