I've been meaning to write this review for a while because I absolutely love Yangmani! The quality of the meat is outstanding--always juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Our go-to is the garlic galbi, which is an absolute must-try. I've been to many Korean BBQ spots, but this one easily stands out as my favorite. The atmosphere is always lively and fun, especially when I come here with my sister--it's become one of our favorite spots to enjoy a great meal together. The service truly takes the experience to the next level. Eunice was our cook, and she was incredible--everything was prepared perfectly, and she was so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. We also had the pleasure of meeting Sohee and John, who were both so welcoming and friendly. It's rare to find a place that excels in both food and service like this. Five stars for the amazing food--and honestly, I'd give another five just for the exceptional service. We'll definitely keep coming back!

If you're a high-quality meat lover, you need to check out Yangmani. Not all-you-can-eat--this is premium Korean BBQ. As soon as you walk in, you'll see a fridge showcasing their dry-aged meats. Started with some thoughtful banchan (even includes quail egg ), and we added steamed egg. We also loved the sauces--especially the matcha salt, We had the 14-day dry-aged ribeye and the wagyu boneless short rib. Both were top-tier quality. Everything is grilled for you--perfectly done. Also loved their signature mushrooms If you're into marinated meat, definitely go for the boneless short rib. Heard about Yangmani through a YouTuber and was feeling splurge-y, so found ourselves here on a Friday evening at about 5:30 pm. Located in the Diamond Plaza, which has a lot of other shops and restaurants, it can be a while to find a parking spot but that's the good thing about eating dinner early. Upon stepping into the restaurant, there was a dry aging fridge on the right showing the various aged stages of their ribeye. Legit! Only two tables or so were occupied at this time. We were to asked to wait while they set up our table. When we were then seated, we found a number of sauces and a variety of banchans laid out for us, ready to enjoy. So remember we felt splurge-ey? And yes, yes we did. We ordered the Chef's Cut Combo ($148), which came with 5 different cuts of beef, including the dry aged ribeye and the mega galbi. The combo also I bodied corn cheese and steamed eye - yum! Service is on point and everything is cooked at the table for you. All you have to do is eat and enjoy. The banchan that was particularly unexpected and delicious was the cilantro salad (sorry cilantro haters!). Overall, absolutely delicious and premium quality. The quality comes with the price tag - after tax and tip, the meal was almost $200 for two people. Pricey but something worth splurging for every now and then. Life is short, enjoy and eat up!

This place is a certified banger. I got the Chang Combo, which serves organ meats (intestine, stomach), and it blew my expectations out of the water. If a person doesn't eat organ meat and I had to select a spot to have them try it, it'd be here. On top of that, there's a bonkers of an amount of ban chan sides. Finish the meal off with scorched rice soup. What a way to finish. Servers will cook and cut for you so you only have to worry about eating. This place replaced the skewer spot I liked, but I'll welcome this replacement with open arms. Doesn't look too different from the prior skewer set up. Same slightly warm lighting and wood accents on grey brick. Cool vibes. Can't wait to come back.

Recently, I've been on a mission to find the top Korean BBQ spots in Los Angeles, and I kept seeing Yangmani all over TikTok being hyped as one of the best. So I decided to give it a try. To avoid traffic, I waited until things died down and got there around 9 PM on a Saturday. In hindsight, that might've been a mistake. They close at 11, so I figured it would be fine.. but it didn't turn out that way. The staff were friendly and seated us right away, but it definitely felt like they were rushing to close. I ordered the chef's cut combo, which comes with corn cheese, steamed egg, got the spicy cold noodles, soft tofu soup, lettuce wraps, and rice. Right off the bat, I was disappointed to hear they were out of rice paper, which I personally love wrapping meat with. It also felt like service started slipping very quickly.. our server forgot our rice and lettuce wraps. By the time I asked again, the kitchen had already closed. She did manage to get us one bowl of rice, but it still wasn't ideal. As for the food, the meat itself was decent, but it honestly felt like we got whatever was left in the kitchen. The quality and portions weren't what I expected, especially given the hype. The steamed egg was another letdown.. omg it was dry, whereas I'm used to it being soft and fluffy. The banchan selection was pretty mid as well. On top of that, we felt rushed the entire time. Staff were already cleaning nearby tables, and the smell of cleaning spray while eating was pretty unpleasant. Overall, this place felt overhyped to me. Nothing really stood out, and I don't see myself coming back. My boyfriend even said he felt like it wasn't worth the money, which was disappointing. Maybe the experience would've been better if we came earlier.. but honestly, I'm not convinced it would make a huge difference.

Variety combo with large intestine instead of pork

We got the variety combo which is mostly all beef except for one choice of pork, but we switched it for the large intestine instead. Side dishes are the best here and the meats are delicious. This combo also comes with corn cheese and steamed egg. Server cooks all the food for you to perfection, and they give out a small slushie at the end for dessert. We went around 7:30pm and service was quick. Seated right away

I came here after hearing pretty good reviews and Recs from friends. When we walked in the area was clean and the host was friendly. Parking was easy to find on a weekday night. We ended up getting the variety combo for 2 of us. The sides were okay but the one that stood out the most was probably the Mac salad. Everything else wasn't super memorable. The combo also came with steamed egg and cheese corn. The cheese corn wasn't that sweet and lacked flavor. The lack of flavor was continuous with the sauces for the meats too. The first meat we tried was the brisket and honestly I felt like it just tasted like any meat you would get at an AYCE restaurant. The standout of the combo was probably the bulgogi since it was marinated and had some sort of flavor. I think the meats would all be better if the dipping sauce wasn't so bland. It was nice that the server cooked for us, so service was pretty good. I was just not wowed by the meats considering it was $110 for both of us for that combo. With that amount I feel like ayce waygu would've been more worth it.

The servers were working together to take care of customers from different tables. (to BBQ meet) but one of the server always came to my table to turn up the flame too high. Lots of the meat were burned.

As a party of 4, we ordered 2 of the combos and it was enough to leave us stuffed. The quality of the meat is good and the servers cook it to perfection. We also ordered two bottles of sake that paired perfectly with the meal. I would likely come here for a more special occasion and it's more expensive than other kbbq spots but it's definitely worth trying once!

Visited Yangmani on a Sunday for dinner with a group of friends and we had an absolute blast! We showed up without a reservation and were able to be seated pretty quickly, but the restaurant started filling up shortly afterwards. We got the variety combo and the chef cut combo and the meats were simply so delicious and high quality- I was dreaming about how good this meal was days afterwards!! Besides their delicious meats, they offer a generous number of banchan which is always a delight. Service was excellent - our server cut and cooked our meats perfectly. At the end of your meal, they offer each person a small pineapple slushie shot, which is a fun way to end the meal. We had such a wonderful time and I'll certainly be recommending Yangmani as one of my favorite KBBQ spots in the LA area!

Yangmani is definitely one of the best KBBQ in town. We had a great time and service was excellent. The server will explain to you how to try different sauce with the type of meat and they cook it perfectly. I like the overall dinning experience as everyone is really friendly and nice. It gives you a really warm feeling and reminds me of the BBQ that I had in Seoul. Thanks again for the hospitality and we look forward on coming back again. read more

This place has really great meats and flavors! Service was amazing; servers were actually the one cooking your meats! Only thing is don't expect an all you can eat experience similar to Thirsty Cow. It's also a little pricey. We came here due to wait time at Thirsty Cow. The 4 of us shared the a combo which I felt wasn't enough - def only good for 2 people. read more

This was my first time here and I will say that I liked the place and food overall. We got there around opening time and were seated right away. We had a good size party (8 people) and had a table with two grills. The decor was nice and you feel like you're at a nice restaurant. We ordered a couple variety combos and added some beef intestine. The food is cooked at your table by the server. They do a good job of cooking and getting the next meat on the grill once the previous one is done. The food overall was pretty good, and the only reason I am giving 4 stars is that there was no steamed egg and the intestines were okay. read more

Came here to celebrate our anniversary from the Bay Area, we truly felt like service was not there.. and for the price that paid for we truly felt like service should've been there but we felt more neglected. We were confused about the menu so we asked the server some questions and it seems like they were kinda annoyed of us.. heard so many great things about this place too! They also messed up on or order.. sigh We know there's two location and we heard great things about the K-town location.. but decided to give this location a try for instead.. sigh kinda disappointed. I was hoping Yangmani would be worth the hype but it was just an okay kbbq experience. I feel the banchans really are the prize of the show here. The meat was just bland as others say and flavorless. Which is a real shame. If it wasn't for the house special ssamjang I would have been really disappointed. Everything just lacked flavor. I've been to multiple kbbq places and my favorite cuts have always been the non marinated meats but yangmani was slacking. I'd come back for the banchan but with the price you're paying you'd think it's a 5 star meal. They are known for their intestines which I didn't get maybe that was the reason i didn't enjoy it as much. But when we went they were out of the rib eye cap and substituted with another cut of meat. I really hope this was a flop and I'd like to go again one day. I've been looking for a new kbbq spot in the area. read more

First time at Yangmani at this location. Food and service was good. Large space. They grilla and cut everything for you, which is a big plus. Nice assortment of side dishes. Premium chef's cut combo (4.5/5) Overall good cuts and nice way to be able to try various cuts Prime boneless short rib (5/5) melt in your mouth goodness Cold noodles - I can't comment because I didn't eat it, but other people in my party really enjoyed it! The recent reopening of the Koreatown branch of Yangmani caught our eye so we gave it a shot for lunch at the Rowland Heights location last weekend. It is a business that specializes in dry-aged beef so we likely deviated from the best parts of its menu by ordering pork and gopchang (intestines). In our defense, we like pork and there are dedicated gopchang set menus so we figured those were a specialty as well. We liked the variety of banchan that Yangmani offers. In addition to a salad, they have a cilantro salad, chapchae, jangjorim (a soy braised beef), radish wraps, crysanthemum stem kimchi, white kimchi, pickled onions, macaroni salad, a mung bean jelly (muk). The meals also come with 1 cheese and corn, and two bowls of rice. We added steamed egg, another bowl of rice, and the garlic leaves. One of our favorite little discoveries was a bowl on the side of the grill with soy bean paste, tofu, and ground beef. Staff explained that it could be used as a dipping sauce or mixed with the rice. It was absolutely delicious, savory, hearty, and well-balanced and we did as instructed, mixing it with white rice and it reminded us of mabo tofu. Yangmani is full-service and the waitstaff grill for you. They do a good job and cooked the meats very well. At lunch, we had plenty of attention and no delays as they moved from meat to meat. We didn't notice anything particularly special about the porks and really didn't care for the gopchang (first timers). Overall, we had an enjoyable lunch and liked checking out the experience and new banchans. read more

Tried this KBBQ spot recently and it was actually so good. If you like beef, get the Chef's Cut Combo. The meat quality was really fresh and you can tell -- super tender and flavorful once it hits the grill. Good variety too, so it doesn't feel repetitive. They refill the banchan for free, which is always a plus. The combo also comes with cheesy corn and steamed egg, and both were solid -- especially the steamed egg, really soft and fluffy. If you're more into pork, they have pork jowl and pork belly. Both were good cuts and grilled up nicely. Service was friendly and quick with changing out the grill. Overall just a really satisfying meal. Would come back. read more

Came with a group of friends for dinner on a Wednesday. It was easy to make a reservation a few days in advance through Yelp, although it seemed like the latest reservation available was on the early end for dinner at 6:15PM. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, but filled up later. We ordered the Chang Combo, which was all intestines. It came with tripe, large and small intestines, and abomasum. This was a good amount for 2-3 people, and the servers cooked these perfectly. I absolutely loved the variety of banchan here, and the combo came with both steamed egg and corn cheese as well. We also ordered the Yangnyonmjejang, which is their spicy raw marinated crab. This was super delicious over rice and so flavorful. Overall, all the food was high quality and the service was also great. They brought us everything we needed quickly, and the restaurant is very clean. They ended off our meal with a complimentary dessert - a little cup of green apple slushy. Plenty of parking in the strip mall plaza, with extra parking underground as well. read more

This Korean bbq has great quality meats and banchans. The menu offers a la carte plates or combo meals. Meat and banchan quality was delicious. The banchan were so good, that I was eating it more than the meats. My favorite banchan is garlic cucumber. Their tables are space efficient, there's a compartment to store your water bottles. Therefore, there is more surface area to order more meats and banchans. The customer service was attentive and appreciated. They have a slushie for dessert. Looks like our party enjoy the smores, but it's on available on select days, definitely not a Saturday. I would try new kbbq places at different price ranges before returning to Yangmani. The parking lot is crazy, there so many other good restaurants that share the parking lot with Yangmani. read more

Eating out with two little ones, especially Korean bbq, can be complete chaos. The experience at yangmani was the best kbbq dining experience I've had so far with little ones. The food price is it a bit higher than other Korean bbq places but with that comes great service and an amazing assortment of high quality banchans. The servers cook your meat for you here which is always a major plus. They also put your meat set on a side table instead of on your eating table which makes it so much more roomy and also minimizes the little ones grabbing things off the table. We got the highest premium set and although it was good, we weren't overly impressed. I looked around and saw that not many folks had gotten the premium set so I would recommend saving a bit and getting one of the other two sets. The banchan was probably the best banchan I've seen at a Korean bbq place. Each one tasted fresh and was seasoned just right. They also give you a soup, steamed eggs, and noorungji included in the set. We will be back if I'm craving Korean bbq but need a chaos free environment. The premium set was pricier than we would be willing to pay again since the meat didn't blow us away so we would get one of the other sets if we were to come back. Still recommend others to check it out for a nice, clean Korean bbq experience! read more

Literally one of the BEST Korean BBQ spots I've been to. The meat was so fresh and flavorful, and everything came out fast. The marinades were perfect -- not too salty, not too sweet, just right. The sides kept getting refilled and they were all so good. The vibe inside was really nice too, super clean and not crazy loud. Staff was so attentive and helped us cook everything perfectly. We had a really great dining experience. The atmosphere wasn't loud like other AYCE KBBQ. We could actually have a conversation. The staff are all welcoming and professional while providing great service. The menu was clear and presentation of the meats was very beautifully plated. As the server cooked the meats, they were very attentive and great care was taken in cooking the meats to our desired doneness. We ordered two of the highest tiered combo to share and there was more than enough food for five people. All the meats were all very well seasoned. All the accompanying sides and sauces were tasty and plentiful. Halfway through our meal, we decided this will be our new go-to KBBQ spot. read more

Came here for an early dinner on a Tuesday with my wife and we were seated right away. We ordered the Variety combo, bibim nengmyun, and it also came with corn cheese and steamed egg. The waiters came by and cooked the meat for us and were very attentive. The meat quality was good as well as the side dishes. After our meal, they served these little green apple slushies. If you're looking for a nice kbbq spot that isn't AYCE and has good quality meats, you can't go wrong with Yangmani. We ordered the premium combo, which includes the mega galbi, garlic galbi, outside skirt, 14-day dry aged ribeye, and ribeye cap. The meats were super tender, and the aging process really brought out the flavors--so juicy and delicious. The side dishes were plentiful and tasty, and the staff was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We also tried the half-size orders of small intestines and large intestines, and I highly recommend them. Honestly, they were some of the best I've had in any Korean restaurant around Los Angeles. Everything was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and just so satisfying. If you're looking for a great Korean BBQ spot, Yangmani is definitely worth trying. They have great service here and will do all the cooking for you so everything is cooked to perfection or to your liking. The biggest annoying thing here is the parking situation. Really enjoyed this kbbq spot. They have very high quality meats, but it is a bit on the pricier side. Their combo is worth it for the quality. It comes with a huge galbi bone that's well marinated. Other than the fact that it is located in Diamond Plaza, Yangmani is one of the best Korean BBQ spots in the area. It is wise to make a reservation ahead of time as it can get packed. The meat combos are thoughtfully curated. I usually end up two different meat combos, and I have also had their marinated crab. Staff are friendly and cook the meats. They try to be as attentive as possible even when it gets super packed. It can be a little loud when it is packed, so not the best place if you are looking for a quiet meal. Pricewise, expect to spend at least $40-50 per person. The meats are high quality and the portions are decently sized. The banchan is also good and has several selections. read more

I guess if you go later, they do not put any additional food out. Pretty disappointing, especially with the high cost. Our server, Kenzie, was very friendly and definitely made our night better. The restaurant has a very cool vibe and plays music loud, but not to where it's annoying. I recommend it; just go early.

We told the waiter that and never apologizwd and stared at us like he expected us to be ok with that but we asked if we could take it to go which they said we couldnt, we then asked for the some compensation for their mistake and lack of any care to fix it, which the manager rudely replied with" are you serious? Its eggs and corn how much do you think its worth?" Which is crazy knowing they charger $6.00 for each side that is apparently worthless! All this on a 300 dollar bill and couldnt do anything but be rude not even a decent apology just free soda next time. Also all the meats were so chewy. The combo includes Dry Aged Ribeye, Prime Ribeye Cap, Thick Cut Tender Beef Tongue, Mega Galbi, and Yuksu Bulgogi as meat selections. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff cooking the meat for you. The side dishes were outstanding. The beef short ribs and Ribeye were both incredibly delicious -- juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The quality of the meat was the only good thing about this place The service was soooooo bad The servers were almost mad that you would ask them a question , my family and I have only ever been to an all you can eat Korean bbq places so we didn't know what to expect The only nice person there was the Hispanic worker SOFIA was extremely rude! We paid 120 before tip for super small portions So if you want to go home hungry This is the perfect place.
