I didn't care for the food. It was so goopy and bland. Didn't have a nice atmosphere either.

Decent amount of meat, vegetable, and noodle options as well so you can def pick your own adventure. I really liked the spicy carbonara style - it had a good amount of flavor and you can pick your heat level as well. The staff are nice and the food comes out 5-10 mins after. A nice vibe to hangout with friends, not too loud but comfortable enough to have conversations. Would totally come back for more of that spice!

My boyfriend and I visited on a Friday night. Surprisingly it wasn't busy. It's a casual spot with lots of parking and seating. Very clean too. The employees were very nice and explained the process to us since it was our first time. You add the food you want to your bowl and pay for how much it weighs at the end. They have lots of options I was surprised! Once you weigh it, you pay and choose the broth or sauce you want. Both my boyfriend and I got mild rose options. You then sit with your ticket and they bring it to your table. The food comes out really fast. The mild isn't spicy at all, I'd get medium next time. It's more like a stir fry rather than a hot pot soup! I liked it, very flavorful you don't even need the side sauces.

Anyways I saw that they had plenty of noodle dishes to choose from so decided to give it a go. Ordered the yukkaejang (spicy braised beef soup) with the rolling dumplings (both kalbi and kimchi). The dumplings were called rolling because I assume they were rolled out and shaped into balls - spherical meat stuffing balls covered with a thin dumpling wrapper. I've eaten dumplings my entire life but this type of dumpling was a first for me so I was very interested in trying this out. Turns out the dumplings were pretty good. It does fall apart pretty easily when picking them up with chopsticks to dip into the sauce which was a bit annoying, so you should be mindful and careful of that if ordering them. The yukkaejang was not the best I've had but it was still pretty good. Prices were fair and the quality of food was solid. I wish they served free water as they make you buy bottles of water if you ask them for water. But with all that being said, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

The meat on the bone was a little tough and required a considerable amount of force to pull off to eat, but the flavor still was awesome. Unfortunately, while the food was great, the service was offputting to say the least. I understand we are in a strip mall, and I have very low expectations, but the girl serving us was surly and gave the vibe that are very presence was an annoyance to her. Any question we asked was responded with the an exasperated exhale. It clearly angered her that we didn't know how to use her point of service machine and was angry that we tried to order fried chicken, which is apparently not available anymore, but still on the menu so we got yelled at about that too. We tried to pay with the card, but apparently didn't do it right so it got scolded for that too. If the food wasn't so crazy kid, I would not come back but their front staff could take a long walk off a short pier.

I come with my family a lot but I also bring my friends here whenever I can and we end up sharing about 3-4 plates since most of the items come family style. The servers are usually older women and they've all been very sweet! It's a real mom & pop shop type of place so if you like supporting small and local businesses I definitely recommend checking it out! Some highlights for me are the spice fried shrimp (ganpoong), walnut shrimp, jjajangmyun, and the meatballs.

While mistakes can happen, cleanliness is a basic expectation at any restaurant. My colleague politely told the owner about the hair and her response was very upsetting. She did not apologize at all and instead told her that no one in the kitchen has long hair and all of them wear hair nets. Cleanliness and basic customer service are non-negotiable in any restaurant, and this experience was completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I hope management takes food hygiene seriously.
