Rain weekend and this location filled the void of noodles for the weather. Friendly staff. Clean location. Excellent flavor. Nothing bad to say for this visit. Will be back to try more noodles. Get the soft shell crab salad... it was fantastic.

A consistently good experience for years. Not only does it have authentic Thai furnishings and a very very warm and inviting vibe and atmosphere, everything from the aquarium features to the soft lighting make this just an amazing value. It works for a quick easy Thai food for a convenience and it works for a date night restaurant where you want to sit down and enjoy yourself with some green tea ice cream. It's just the overall best value with friendly people I love it here. Hanley recommended.

Staff was friendly and helpful, food was reasonably priced and delicious, we were seated right away and the food came out quickly. Loved my experience and will be back.

Late dinner with family, there was no waiting at all for a table. Used to come here quite often decades ago, it's a testament to their good food that they have remained open at this location for quite a long time. Started with clear glass noodle soup: lots of vegetables plus thin sliced chicken breast: perfectly seasoned and very comforting. Nam tok grilled beef served with cabbage wedges and sticky rice- dressed with lime, thin red onion and ground roasted rice. Green chicken curry was mildly spicy but the coconut milk gave a distinct sweetness. The curry was served in a metal bowl on a wooden base. Steamed swai fillets of fish in lime garlic sauce also mildly spicy, fish was tender. Pad see ew wide flat noodles in dark gravy and sliced Chinese broccoli or gai lan, I added shrimp but I think it's probably better with some beef. Also got Hainan chicken and rice- the sauce served with it is delicious! Rice is not included in any entree , we asked for a large pot ($10). The rice included and late nights are all gone the way of VHS and pay phones. Also paid for a pot of jasmine hot tea (two of our party were under the weather), Total for dinner plus tax was $160, Lot of leftovers for lunch the next day. Will make this spot part of my rotation.

3.5/4 Was pretty quiet around 5:30pm on a Sunday afternoon for an early dinner. Menu has a good variety of dishes to choose from whether you're craving rice, noodles, curry or sides. Little something for everyone. The chicken dish with rice that they brought out was slightly cold so we told them to heat it up again, it got better. The noodles in curry with steak was my favorite and I could like all the sauce out of the bowl, I would have!

The restaurant is located at the South West corner of Valley view and Cerritos Ave. We came in @ 2:45 pm quiet place to eat in and lots of sitting room the air conditioning was good enough to beat the heat outside running a very humid 93 degrees Fahrenheit I ordered the Chicken Peasant Plate and my wife ordered the Beef Peasant Plate the orders came out fast from the looks of the plates it does look like these are for peasants lol. So since the orders where more of fried rice we ended up ordering one more to complete our need for protein. We ordered the Prik King a dry curry sautéed deep fried pork belly with green beans to try it out. The pork was fried very deep and not crispy at all maybe we made a mistake in ordering but I was not satisfied with the taste sorry to say. We might come back to order something else next time.

The service here is over the top!!! I asked if Thai tea was refillable and the waiter said no but still brought me another one. I had the garlic beef and it was delicious!!! The yellow curry was amazing, too.

Sweetie Thai has been in this plaza for at least 20 years! I remember it was there when I was at CHS and college and it's still there now that I've been working for 16 years! The Thai food here is decent, I haven't came around frequent enough over the years anymore but I always remembered they had really good drunken noodles. I came back with my friends recently and got the seafood drunken noodles and two desserts, the mango sticky rice and the fried bananas with ice cream. Desserts were good but the mango was not ripe so it was had and not sweet. Drunken noodle (called monsoon here) had a good flavor and some seafood pieces were better than others though they were of decent size. Service was still good and I know their service has always been nice and consistent. They still have the fish tanks since all these years. It's a very low key casual but cozy Thai restaurant vibe.

I am still a rookie in the thai food world but feel the quality here was not happening. I got a basic AF plate of their orange chicken and it was trash. The sauce was terrible and the chicken tasted old, barely heat tray warm. This said, I dug into some of my friends Cha-Lay rice with crab. Decent, not praise worthy, but decent. Maybe I am just ordering the wrong items, but I was not feeling my plate. We shared some siam spring rolls which were also decent, but no different than buying from a store and toasting at home. We came at noon so there was a heavy lunch crowd, but we were seated almost immediately. No hate or complaints on the service, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Despite the old and outdated interior, the establishment seemed clean, so it didn't feel gross dining in.

We ordered the Papaya Salad, Garlic Chicken Rolls and their Beef Jerky Special. We had a lovely conversation with the owner and she gave us special instructions on how to eat everything, such as eating the jerky with a small ball of sticky rice and sauce, followed by a mouthful of papaya salad as a palate cleanser--We followed those instructions to a T and it was truly enjoyable! For impressions of each Entree: The Papaya Salad is incredible, we ordered it with a mild spice level sauce. It's light, flavorful and refreshing and serves as a perfect palate cleanser if you order it with another item, but having it on its own is perfectly fine as well. The Garlic Chicken Roll was fantastic, crispy roll and tender chicken on the inside. It came with a sweet dipping sauce that had a flavor we weren't expecting but a nice surprise. The Beef Jerky Special: I absolutely love the idea of the beef jerky with a crispy-charred outer shell. My critique would be to dial back the charred-ness a little bit so that it doesn't dominate the center flavor. It goes perfectly well with the sticky rice and the sauce it comes with is really nice. Really great establishment with great customer service, I look forward to visiting again!

I was greeted and told to sit anywhere so I opted for a booth. Server was helping out what looked like 3 other parties that sat before so it took a little bit to get my menu. Once she came by, she mentioned their lunch specials which I opted to get. I decided to get the spicy basil (krapow) with pork and a Thai iced coffee. The order did take awhile to come out probably about 15 mins due to other parties ordering ahead of me and what looked like a lot of to go orders since people were coming in and out. Coffee came out first and for $6 the size was huge! I took one sip and man it was really refreshing! A little more on the sweeter side but it was good! My food came out next and decided to dig in immediately. The eggroll was first and it was crispy! Paired with a small side of sweet chili sauce, that was good! The salad itself was fine and as for the krapow... I thought it was fine. The sauce used was okay but it did come with a lot of pork on it. I asked for it to be mild but it wasn't that spicy at all. Overall, it was a good meal. After those other parties settled, my server focused on me more which was cool. She was nice for sure. The meal altogether was around $20 with tip it ended around $25. Great price for the lunch special and coffee! Overall, my food was good. Nothing crazy to rave about but for the price paid was great. The coffee was good too. The chicken in it was soooo tender. It almost felt like it melted in my mouth. The Thai fried rice was yummy as well. The chicken in the fried rice was a little dry but the flavors compensated. The pad Thai was delicious and I'm usually very picky with my pad Thais. The noodles were super soft and it had a solid tangy flavor to them. We arrived at 4:30pm when they just opened but they seemed to get the dishes out super fast. The service was super nice and attentive as well. Overall, very pleased with my experience and will come again.

The fries still managed to have a crispy texture and had a sweet and savory sauce flavor to them. The beef cubes were tender and cooked just right. The noodles were fine as well. I liked that the noodles werent too heavy. The portion size is very large though, i was very full by the end of it. The green milk tea was good too. The milk, sugar, and tea ratios were all balanced and the flavor was subtle. It had an interesting flavor that reminded me of grass jelly and milk, but in a good way.
