Yard House has been a favorite spot of mine for years. They offer such a wide variety of food that it would be just about impossible NOT to find something you want to eat! My favorite staple item is the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. I usually don't waste my time ordering this at restaurants, but the combination of cheeses and crisp bread is absolutely phenomenal. Happy hour alert!! This place offers regular happy hour as well as late night happy hour. They have great drink specials and offer several food items too. My favorite happy hour app are the chicken wontons. They are so unique and although I have tried to find something similar at other restaurants, nothin compares to these treats. Another thing that makes this place special is the dessert. So many places don't offer birthday treats anymore, but this place goes above and beyond by offering a your choice of dessert complimentary. The four cheese spinach dip was AMAZING! However, everything else not so much. The chips were stale, the pizza was undercooked, cold and lacked flavor, the fries had a freezer taste to them and were just above room temperature, the noodles were spicy yet bland. We ordered the blackberry and passion fruit refreshers to drink, we both tasted great, however my son's glass was broken and leaking, therefore he ended up with a refresher shower. Our server was nice, but the service was slow which doesn't make sense when you're getting cold food, and the atmosphere was fine. It's Sunday night so I like the calm. I will say after being on the road for almost 4 hours driving to Boca after an entire day traveling from the West Coast, I was looking forward to having dinner. We opted for the Yard House over the Ale House as the reviews and menu made it look like the better choice. I was sadly mistaken. Dinner for two 80 dollars, the food at the Ale House would have tasted better and cost less. Parking is really bad here. City of Boca tickets 24/7 and the only other option is a huge parking garage with really tight spaces. That said, the food was very pricey for what you got. It's like Duffy's at twice the price. The service is extremely slow and our server literally quit in the middle of serving us. Contemplating getting the poke nachos? GET THEM. And get them for yourself. They're so good there's no way you're going to want to share. The quality of the tuna is superb & overall the execution is divine from the fresh avocado to jalapeño add ins. I got the sriracha mayo on the side and I didn't even need it. The boneless whiskey wings were okayyyyy. The sauce lacked dimension & was very one note -tasted like a brown sugar glaze with black pepper. I'd never order them again, but I sure did demolish them. Patio ambiance is nice & service is good. I went during happy hour & they had $2 off cocktails etc. I wasn't too enthused about the drinks (Long Beach not to be confused with a Long Island) - they were good but not strong I could hardly taste the alcohol. So last Monday I went with my girlfriend to meet up with some friends from high school. It was a great mini-reunion. We decided to meet at the Yard House in Mizner. I have been there before and have always had good drinks, food and service. There were four of us and we sat out on the patio. Our waitress was super-friendly and attentive. She took our drink orders and then gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted to eat. I ended up ordering the Carne Asada Street Tacos and my girlfriend got the BBQ Bacon Burger which came with a small side salad. I got a Diet Coke to drink and my girlfriend got an Angry Orchard Apple Cider. Our orders did not take long to come out. Overall the food was good. The tacos were tasty as was the burger. The issue I have is with the prices. The Carne Asada Street Tacos were $15.95. For that you only got two not-very-large tacos along with some rice and beans. Neither taco had a ton of meat in it. $16 seems too much for what you got. The burger was also good. It was pretty juicy but again $14.75 is really too much money. The drink prices were also high. My Diet Coke (which did come with refills) was $3.35 and my girlfriend's Angry Orchard was $6 ($4 when she ordered during Happy Hour). You can get a 12-pack of Angry Orchard at Sam's Club for $13.96 which comes out to about $1.13 per bottle. Therefore, $6 for Angry Orchard at the Yard House represents at least a five-fold markup. Overall, the food, service and location were good and I would normally give a 4-star review. However, at a total bill of over $60 (including tip) for two people, I felt the prices were too high for what you got. Granted, this is Boca and Mizner in particular. There's a lot of money in Boca and many of its residents probably don't care too much about price. I would go back to the Yard House and likely will in the future but maybe just for drinks. read more

To start, I came for happy hour on a Monday afternoon. The happy hour food options are quite surprising, as there are so many to choose from. I got the Poke Nachos, Korean Chili Boneless Wings & regular French Fries. The drinks were made to PERFECTION, I ordered the Sunset Sangria. The ambience is great with their outdoor seating in such a calm area. Not to mention the service was very attentive and interactive as I wasn't sure what drinks/apps to order, it being my first time here and all. I really enjoyed myself. Love this location. read more

I love Yard House. Great for a girls lunch/dinner, spouse hangout, and family meal time. The outside sitting area at this location is amazing as well as the servers. I don't recommend getting the tuna nachos because the chips get soggy extremely quick. The Creole gumbo is a bit of a let down because they use hotdogs and not real sausages. I tried it with pasta instead of rice and ALWAYS get rice. However, all of the salads are amazing. Large portions and the opportunity to add your desired choose of protein. I have visited a number of times over the years. I will evaluate Yard House on the following criteria: 1) Taste of Food: All the appetizers and entrées that I have ever ordered were good. 2) Service: I have never had a bad experience with service. Alway rather good. 3) Decor: I like the decor. It is a bit swanky, which can be preferred or not preferred, based on what you like. 4) Patrons: Alot of the patrons are college students, but it is also a mixed crowd. 5) Price: It is a bit expensive, but not unreasonable. I gave it 3 out of 5 stars, but if I could, I would have given it 3.5 out of 5 stars. The word that keeps springing to mind is 'good.' It is just all around a good bar. It is noteworthy that I am not a 'bar guy' or drinker, so the plethora of cocktail choices that Yard House has to offer does little for me, but it may impress you very much. Also, for me to give any bar a 4 out of 5 stars or above the food would have to be basically out of this world, because I don't care for drinking. In sum, I recommend this establishment. Good food and good service are key components to a recommendion, and Yard House is more than serviceable in these and most areas. read more

The Yard House Boca is quite enjoyable. It is my best friend's favorite place at Mizner Park and the one location where he always chooses to celebrate his birthday. Centrally located close to Federal Highway in Boca, this particular location is always busy. The food is great. The servers and the service are fast, and the drinks are generous. But other than the convenience it offer, nothing truly sets it apart from the many other businesses with a similar structure in the area. The last time we were there, celebrating his birthday as a matter of fact, there were no particular specials, no happy hour, just the menu. And although there's nothing wrong with that, in and of itself, I feel as if something more could be done to entice the customer. Again, this is a great location. Delicious food, great service, nice facilities. It was a little on the loud side, despite our getting there early. And the table side ordering machine wasn't working (which would have made it easier to order our dessert) but otherwise the place was great! We didn't try any of their brews but the smoked old fashioned was delicious (you could really taste the smokiness) and the Korean bbq beef was flavorful, without being too sweet or overbearing with the sauce. It came with a bed of jasmine white rice underneath and while it was an app it could easily have been an entree. The bathrooms were clean and the service was great. Very attentive. For a late Wednesday night, it was pretty packed. It was a bit overwhelming between the amount of chatter and music and all the T.Vs playing. Nonetheless, the service was still pretty decent. Great location in the middle of Boca's growing Mizner Park. It gets pretty busy so reservations are recommended. With our reservation, we waited less than five minutes to be seated. The waiter was very nice and attentive. I had the peach martini; wasn't much alcohol in it. It was more like a tall glass of juice. I went with the lobster garlic noodles and was not at all disappointed. All the flavors mixed in so well. It was very flavorful. Plenty of shrimp and lobster in there. I highly recommend the Sour Jolly Rancher Beer. I asked my server, Kamil, for a sour beer recommendation, he gave me a few and then decided on the Jolly Rancher. I was not disappointed. The avocado toast came as a pair, the Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curd portion is enough to feed a family of four. I also recommend the cheesecake brûlée. 2/3 times I come here the kitchen seems to not know the company recipe for their Poke Nachos. Last night was no different, except that it had to be brought out 3 times before it was correct, with the seaweed salad and all. In addition the truffle fries also had to be brought out 3 TIMES! 1. Too cold and hard. 2. NOT EVEN TRUFFLE FRIES! normal ones with the seasoning on top and by the 3rd try we didnt even want them. I've been to Yardhouse several times. With friends, family, for a date night, you name it - it's always a good choice. We love it not only for the location but for the vegan options as well. The only thing that would make Yardhouse better is if they had some vegan desserts (for that, Farmer's Table is our go-to). As you can see in my pictures, I've ordered a few of the Gardein dishes, which are always delicious and full of protein! I love how easy it is to customize items on the menu as well. Basically anything can be Veganized. With the friendly servers to assist, it's always a pleasant experience dining here. Last night our server, Hope F. was the best. I wanted to leave a review not only for the restaurant but also for her. She was one of the most attentive, friendly and helpful servers I think we've ever had. Fun place. I like the tvs and big space type atmosphere. So many beers to try however the darker the beer the less cold it seems to taste. It's weird but that's our experience over the years. Of course we started off with drinks and I was not smart enough to get some pictures. They have a great selection of beers, ciders and mixed drinks. And let me tell you, they do not water down those mixed drinks at all. There is a fun Half Yard sized drink option for most beers, a little awkward to drink from but fun for the occasion.
