    Amazing cake for dessert

What a fun spot! They have a crazy huge selection of beer on tap and you can order them in what looks like mile high glasses. I went for dinner with a friend in a Friday night and the place was packed! Despite the crowds the service was excellent! Opting for a healthy option I had the Poke salad, which was delicious, while my friend had the Bacon burger. I was surprised by the Oreo cookie crumble for a belated birthday celebration and it was divine! It's a great spot to gather with friends. I appreciated that they offered NA beer but they should expand their selection and I would love to see Noughty AF sparking and still wines on the menu.

We've been to Yard House many times whenever my husband and I have something to celebrate or a special event. We truly love the atmosphere and the service here. The staff are always friendly, polite, and very professional. The restaurant itself is beautiful ,spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. We usually order the fried calamari, burgers, steak, and mac & cheese for our 4-year-old daughter. Everything is always delicious, fresh, and juicy. There was just one small issue today , previously the mac & cheese included chicken, but this time it didn't. Maybe the order was entered differently or the receipt was changed? Just something we noticed. Overall, we still had a great experience and will definitely keep coming back!

There's plenty of space to be seated but it can be a bit noisy. You order from the table. As well as pay from it. The staff were nice but not very attentive. They also took my order wrong. I got the flight of tacos, which was pretty good.

I usually have a good time here for HH. I think it was just too busy. My friend was waiting in line to be seated. It didn't take long to be seated, but that was the first time I've ever waited to be seated. We got a booth. I like getting a booth. It's just so comfortably dark. We came during HH so we got a beer, espresso martini, chicken nachos, and poke nachos. My espresso martini was good, but they put too much cinnamon and nutmeg on top. It made me choke a bit. The chicken nachos are always great and such a great price during HH. I was a little upset about the poke nachos coming later. I'm so use to them coming at the same time as the chicken nachos that I thought it was strange. They were making so much of them all together is what happened. I was disappointed by the taste of it. It just tasted different to me and I won't be ordering it next time. Great HH price, but I would like to try other food next time.

Great service at the bar seating area, I ordered the garage mango hefeweizen and it's good very fruity but not too sweet tasting. We started with an order of cheese curds those were crunchy & yummy, I also ordered a 3 taco plate with the birria, crispy Korean chicken & vampire carnitas it came with spicy rice and pinto beans it was delicious. We also tried the bbq bacon cheddar burger it was very good!

I really like spot for happy hour. Who doesn't like half off select appetizers and discounted beverages? It's nice to have a shaded patio to enjoy cold drinks and food on a hot day. I always get the poke nachos with sauce and Serranos on the side. It's been a bit since I've been and while the dish size has remained the same the amount of ahi has decreased (hopefully, just this visit). We also tried the lettuce wrap, which we agreed was good too. The Miguel's queso with chips & tortillas was good, but our least favorite of the 3. I'll definitely be back for the happy hour with friends as we all enjoyed it.

First time at this location and I enjoyed our waiter. Super friendly and helpful. We got the onion rings and lemon pepper wings for starters... the lemon pepper wings!!! O M G!! They were so yummy! I was sad we were sharing! ...haha. We all got the 20oz Steak and it was so tender. The food was really good at this location. I went with my coworkers after work lunch and we really enjoyed the atmosphere at this location. Definitely a great spot for beers and watching sports too.

Located front and center at The Shoppes at Carlsbad, the Yard House is my go-to for a chill time, great food, and tasty cocktails. I'm never ever disappointed with the service. The staff is always friendly. There's something for everyone to enjoy for lunch, dinner, happy hour and late night - known for its extensive menu. It's also known as the world's largest selection of draft beer. Their Happy Hour is the BESTEST...must say the happiest hours of my day :-) Do I need to say more? Just come to the Yard!!

I go to this Yard House with my friends all the time. I love that there's a really diverse menu. As an appetizer lover, I can always find something here that I want.

This was such a great afternoon lunch spot! We sat outside on the patio and the weather made it even better. The service was timely and attentive, and our server Nelly was upbeat and genuinely friendly. We ordered the garlic noodles, traditional BBQ wings, and the Oreo cookie dessert. The wings came out perfectly, just as delicious as they looked! And the dessert was easily one of the best I've had in a while. I'd come back again for all of it.

Came here with my familiy amd loved it! We were able to get a table right away and the servers were nice and took our drink order quickly. We were sat at a booth which was pretty spacious as well. We ordered a few appetizers and were blown away with the size and flavor. I recommend getting the Korean Chili wings if you like spice! Our main courses were also delicious and well sized. We had to get togo containers for the excess. I definately recommend coming here.

This is a good spot later at night when many other places are closed. They also have a late night happy hour which is good. We usually sit at the bar and receive excellent service. Their tomato soup is one of my favorites.

    It's a restaurant, not a bar.

I was kind of bummed that I was the only person dining for lunch, they honestly deserve a crowd. The food and service was 10/10. The setup is really cute on the inside as well and I was able to sit comfortably at a table with my daughter's stroller right next to me. Upon entering, I was greeted right away. I already knew that I wanted to order the Khao Soi because I had looked up their menu and pictures way before coming in and it looked like their specialty. I ordered an iced jasmine green tea as well and chose a table to sit at. The woman who took my order was really nice and helpful with ordering. My food didn't take long to come out, and it was DELICIOUS. This was my first time trying this dish so I didn't know what to expect but it was everything and more. It was topped with what I think was fried onion and chili crisp as well for some added spice. The tea was also so delicious, the crushed ice they use is my favorite. The tea was garnished with an orange slice and my toddler decided to much on it. The woman who took my order noticed my daughter eating the orange slice and she brought me out a couple more on the side. You really don't experience that level of customer service anymore, so it was such a sweet gesture. They have a lot of other things on their menu that I would love to come back and try. I also used the restroom before leaving and it was super clean. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever and I hope this business continues to thrive!

I always enjoy dining there with my family because they have good food that we can all enjoy together. Every year for my birthday I go to Gonzo! I simply love eating at Gonzo. First of all, I can't get over how scrumptious their food is, it is so tasty and packed with flavor. If you stand in line to order, as soon as you sit down you will have already been served. I don't know how Gonzo prepares their meals so fast, yet so delicious. Also the fact that they cook their food fresh daily is crazy to me. I've been to many ramen restaurants and no one compares to Gonzo's. My go to on the menu is the tonkotsu ramen with gyoza and chicken karaage. Gonzo also offers a very unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in Japan. They have waving cats, a big banana neon light, posters and a floating ball on top of the water station. The ball is so cool but I am still puzzled on how it works. Their decor can not be matched. They also have a TV that is always playing Anime. You can also sit inside or outside so if you feel like sitting inside, sit inside but if you want to sit outside, sit outside. Gonzo also does not offer reservations so there is always a place to sit. If there is nowhere to sit just get It to go, truly there is no other ramen stop better than Gonzo. Lastly, the people there are super nice, and always check up on you, they are very polite, and they always say your welcome. While you wait, you can enjoy your appetizers until your main meal arrives. Also if you ask them for a free ticket to their store, they will give you one, each member of the family gets one. You can go next door and trade them in for tokens, these tokens can be used to play claw machines so you can win stuff. But what tops that off is that all of the employees are welcoming and happy. Gonzo Ramen is the best restaurant in the world. They offer good food, an amazing atmosphere and the people there are super nice not to mention the location is very conveniently located near my house. I seriously think about Gonzo all the time. Gonzo is that go to place for me and my family.

The restaurant is small, cozy, welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. It isn't well suited for larger parties as most tables are tables for 2 unless tables are pushed together. They do have patio seating and heaters outside, but it didn't appeal to me being so close to the street/loud traffic. Gabriel checked us in, seated us, took our order, served our food and waited on us for majority of our visit, I would give him 10 stars just on his impeccable service. The food though? The food was AMAZING!! Everything we ordered was the best we have ever had anywhere. The buns were very kawaii (and we ordered ever single one to try). The fillings were savory, but we also loved their seasonal panda bun with ube filling while the kids preferred the nutella bunny. Best chicken karaage we've had by far, the coating almost tasted like it was rolled in kinako powder. The ramen broth was "chef's kiss" with so much flavors, the crab rangoon were jumbo and the filling was delicious, but the chicken katsu was also the best we have had anywhere (including Hawaii). The breading was just top tier crunchy while the chicken was thick and juicy. There isn't one bad thing I could say about this place, from the service to the food, I would make the drive out here again. The name reflects the restaurant's mission to serve dishes prepared with the same love, care, and attention that a mother gives to her family's everyday meals. How lovely is that?! Anyhow, I was able to find street parking and walked into a clean dining space with a nice atmosphere. It wasn't too busy. Again, the staff was very attentive and provided stellar service. it's saturday night. we don't have a reservation. they tell us the wait is over an hour. what do we…read moredo? we wait. and thank jebus we did, because this ended up being one of the best meals i've had in a while. we started with the prawn. we each got one, and given that they're $10 a skewer, our bill started off STRONG. the prawns were perfectly roasted with hints of mezcal and prickly pear. the candied habanero or whatever garnish of death was on there totally kicked my ass in terms of spice. in true Asian fashion, we ripped the heads off and sucked all the goodness out of them too. no shame. you don't waste the good stuff. then the cornbread showed up. the group collectively agreed we'd pass on this one next time. for me, the goat cheese threw me off, but that's entirely on me because i hate goat cheese and still knowingly ordered something with goat cheese. i played myself. there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dish, but compared to everything else we ate, there wasn't anything particularly standout about it either. but then. the fucking broccoli showed up. it is literally charred broccoli with chermoula, lime, and peanut. that's it. BROCCOLI. and after taking one bite, i learned that broccoli could, in fact, be life changing. suddenly i was a new woman. a woman who wanted nothing more than to sit there and stuff her face with massive amounts of broccoli. unfortunately, i couldn't because we still had dishes to taste. and so i moved on to the pork belly. when people describe something as "melting in your mouth," they are specifically referring to Campfire's pork belly. because that's exactly what it did. just melted all up in my mouth and lit my taste buds on fire. normally, i find pork belly prepared this way a little heavy and can only stomach a few bites, but i could have eaten the entire dish. but of course i didn't, because i'm a lady. and the octopus was about to show up. and show up it DID. i don't like celery, and this dish had plenty of it, but because it was shaved super thin, it was actually super palatable. the octopus was incredibly tender, and there were little bits of chorizo throughout that gave it the perfect balance. also, love me a good chimichurri sauce. and finally, last but truly not least, the chicken. a whole ass half bird, charred to perfection with roasted red pepper, kumquat, and fennel. apparently i like fennel now??? i didn't even know i liked fennel like that, but here we are. if i hadn't already been stuffed to the absolute brim, i could have destroyed this entire dish. the chicken was juicy and tender, and paired with the fennel, you're almost like just having a healthy dish??? LOL. although we went in with every intention of ending the night with s'mores, our bodies simply said no. there was no more room at the inn. see what i did there :P so instead, we left and went on a very long walk to digest all the delicious goodness that was Campfire. i cannot wait to go back. mostly for the broccoli, which is a sentence i never thought i'd write in my life. and this time, i will absolutely be making a reservation.

Oh, Campfire, I'm glad you're still here and still have a special place in my heart. That said, my…read morelast two visits have been underwhelming. I always order the same dishes: the porridge bread, roasted broccoli, and ribeye for two. Since nothing else on the menu particularly interests me, those dishes are generally good--but when I'm spending $250-$300 on dinner for two, I expect the food to be exceptional, and it just hasn't been. I also haven't found the cocktails especially impressive in recent years. Campfire helped bring craft cocktails to Carlsbad, and my husband and I still reminisce about drinks like the roasted beet and charred corn. Unfortunately, the current cocktail menu hasn't made the same impression. Campfire is worth trying if you've never been, but as a local, it's no longer a restaurant I look forward to visiting regularly. These days, I'd probably go about once a year.

The queso is a must. I loaded that on the tacos with hot sauce & it was ‍ ! The service here was really great from start to finish from recommendations, getting us more napkins, and refilling our hibiscus limeades to go. Super pleasant experience. The inside is very clean and comfortable.

My husband loved HomeState while I thought it was mid. Our views were so different that I'll…read morereturn based on how great he thought it was. We ordered a Tijuana panther, a picadillo taco, and a brisket taco. We added a side of their queso and a tortilla with butter. I love the big patio, booths inside, and service. It was pretty slow for not being very busy and what appeared to be overstuffed. The chips and queso were very good. The Tijuana panther taco was sopping wet and I could only finish half of it because it was so messy and hard to eat without asking for a fork and knife. My husband's picadillo taco is where it was at. It was tangy from the pickled jalapenos, meat was beautifully seasoned, and tortilla dry enough to hold. The brisket taco was overstuffed and messy as well. I appreciate packing them full, but when they're served rolled it makes a handheld food item completely inedible by hand. The employee working the register was delightful and I'd go back just for her.
