What a fun spot! They have a crazy huge selection of beer on tap and you can order them in what looks like mile high glasses. I went for dinner with a friend in a Friday night and the place was packed! Despite the crowds the service was excellent! Opting for a healthy option I had the Poke salad, which was delicious, while my friend had the Bacon burger. I was surprised by the Oreo cookie crumble for a belated birthday celebration and it was divine! It's a great spot to gather with friends. I appreciated that they offered NA beer but they should expand their selection and I would love to see Noughty AF sparking and still wines on the menu.
We've been to Yard House many times whenever my husband and I have something to celebrate or a special event. We truly love the atmosphere and the service here. The staff are always friendly, polite, and very professional. The restaurant itself is beautiful ,spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. We usually order the fried calamari, burgers, steak, and mac & cheese for our 4-year-old daughter. Everything is always delicious, fresh, and juicy. There was just one small issue today , previously the mac & cheese included chicken, but this time it didn't. Maybe the order was entered differently or the receipt was changed? Just something we noticed. Overall, we still had a great experience and will definitely keep coming back!
There's plenty of space to be seated but it can be a bit noisy. You order from the table. As well as pay from it. The staff were nice but not very attentive. They also took my order wrong. I got the flight of tacos, which was pretty good.
I usually have a good time here for HH. I think it was just too busy. My friend was waiting in line to be seated. It didn't take long to be seated, but that was the first time I've ever waited to be seated. We got a booth. I like getting a booth. It's just so comfortably dark. We came during HH so we got a beer, espresso martini, chicken nachos, and poke nachos. My espresso martini was good, but they put too much cinnamon and nutmeg on top. It made me choke a bit. The chicken nachos are always great and such a great price during HH. I was a little upset about the poke nachos coming later. I'm so use to them coming at the same time as the chicken nachos that I thought it was strange. They were making so much of them all together is what happened. I was disappointed by the taste of it. It just tasted different to me and I won't be ordering it next time. Great HH price, but I would like to try other food next time.
Great service at the bar seating area, I ordered the garage mango hefeweizen and it's good very fruity but not too sweet tasting. We started with an order of cheese curds those were crunchy & yummy, I also ordered a 3 taco plate with the birria, crispy Korean chicken & vampire carnitas it came with spicy rice and pinto beans it was delicious. We also tried the bbq bacon cheddar burger it was very good!
I really like spot for happy hour. Who doesn't like half off select appetizers and discounted beverages? It's nice to have a shaded patio to enjoy cold drinks and food on a hot day. I always get the poke nachos with sauce and Serranos on the side. It's been a bit since I've been and while the dish size has remained the same the amount of ahi has decreased (hopefully, just this visit). We also tried the lettuce wrap, which we agreed was good too. The Miguel's queso with chips & tortillas was good, but our least favorite of the 3. I'll definitely be back for the happy hour with friends as we all enjoyed it.
First time at this location and I enjoyed our waiter. Super friendly and helpful. We got the onion rings and lemon pepper wings for starters... the lemon pepper wings!!! O M G!! They were so yummy! I was sad we were sharing! ...haha. We all got the 20oz Steak and it was so tender. The food was really good at this location. I went with my coworkers after work lunch and we really enjoyed the atmosphere at this location. Definitely a great spot for beers and watching sports too.
Located front and center at The Shoppes at Carlsbad, the Yard House is my go-to for a chill time, great food, and tasty cocktails. I'm never ever disappointed with the service. The staff is always friendly. There's something for everyone to enjoy for lunch, dinner, happy hour and late night - known for its extensive menu. It's also known as the world's largest selection of draft beer. Their Happy Hour is the BESTEST...must say the happiest hours of my day :-) Do I need to say more? Just come to the Yard!!
I go to this Yard House with my friends all the time. I love that there's a really diverse menu. As an appetizer lover, I can always find something here that I want.
This was such a great afternoon lunch spot! We sat outside on the patio and the weather made it even better. The service was timely and attentive, and our server Nelly was upbeat and genuinely friendly. We ordered the garlic noodles, traditional BBQ wings, and the Oreo cookie dessert. The wings came out perfectly, just as delicious as they looked! And the dessert was easily one of the best I've had in a while. I'd come back again for all of it.
Came here with my familiy amd loved it! We were able to get a table right away and the servers were nice and took our drink order quickly. We were sat at a booth which was pretty spacious as well. We ordered a few appetizers and were blown away with the size and flavor. I recommend getting the Korean Chili wings if you like spice! Our main courses were also delicious and well sized. We had to get togo containers for the excess. I definately recommend coming here.
This is a good spot later at night when many other places are closed. They also have a late night happy hour which is good. We usually sit at the bar and receive excellent service. Their tomato soup is one of my favorites.

Great happy hour! Happy hour is Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm and Sunday - Wednesday 10:00pm - Close. Their happy hour gives you 1/2 off certain appetizers and all pizzas. Couldn't find a thing wrong with Ahi Nachos, Chicken Nachos or Basic Burger. If yer onna Tinder date and don't wanna talk, this is the place = loud it is. This is the only location and restaurant that my handicap husband does not have to sit outside in his wheelchair and wait for a hostess to totally ignore him. This location, and this restaurant is the only one I've known that will come out and greet my husband open the door for him, find a handicap table to for him. This place is number one in my book. Yard House is always a solid happy hour spot. A year or two ago they killed the late night happy hour entirely and then finally brought it back but it applies to drinks only so that's disappointing. Besides that everything is generally as expected of a Yard House with solid food and beer options. This is a great happy hour spot. You can order from a server or from the device on the table. They have a lot of great beer options and the vodka sodas are solid. We've been here a few times, mostly in the bar for snacks and drinks. The chicken tenders have been great and Id pick them over the poke nachos. It can be pretty loud and sometimes the floors can be sticky. Overall we like it and will keep going back. read more

10/10 every time I come, best place to bring friends and family, food is good, drinks are always great. Adam is super kind, attentive and definitely makes us feel taken care of. Definitely a nice romantic but can still be causal setting. Not too bad if you don't mind a bit of noise but that just means you have to have a better and louder conversation! . Food was delicious!! Loved the spicy shrimp! Also enjoyed my adult beverage. Service was on point. The wait staff was very efficient. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Located right outside of the mall with plenty of parking available. I love Yardhouse and also have the app. We were there for happy hour so I had the pleasure of enjoying two adult beverages with my favorite greygoose. Lemon pepper wings were very good! My two favorites things to grab here are the Poke Nachos and an Old Fashion. They both never disappoint! We stopped in for Happy Hour and had a few appetizers at the bar. It wasn't that busy so we sat at the bar. Initially we were greeted and service was great. As soon as we put our order in and got our first drinks, the bartender decided to not come back and check in on us. This happened the last time we were in as well and I hoped it was a one time thing, but seems to be the trend now in service. My drink and the Poke Nachos were amazing. The Chicken lettuce wraps were pretty decent, but the Margarita pizza was not good at all. The cheese and basil completely fell off the entire pizza so it was just a slice of bland dough. read more

I brought my mom here for Mother's Day, expecting high energy from the staff. I'm sure some servers and hosts were tired but it was 4:30pm.. our hostess could've been more welcoming and less shy. Our server was cool but where was the high energyyy?! They just seemed over it and it made me bored being there. Our appetizer was delicious but we ordered the enchilada stacks and they were not what I was expecting and whoever came up with that, needs to re-think their life decisions; it felt tough to chew and definitely needed more sour cream added. Other than that, good vibes, yummy drinks and the Mother's Day carnations were a really cute touch! read more

We've been coming here for years(since they opened) and have always had great experiences, but this last time was less than stellar. Service was kind of lacking and they were not busy at all and the food wasn't amazing. There were very few people actually in the restaurant as they had just opened, so it was nice and quiet in there. My chicken sandwich was just okay and I wouldn't order it again. My husband's burger was over cooked and he wouldn't order that again. And because we were not in a hurry, I actually sent my son's cheese pizza back. How do you mess up a cheese pizza? Well, I'll tell you...you overcook it and don't put any sauce or cheese on it! This was the first time I've ever had to send anything back here as we've always liked what we ordered. It was just burnt up and didn't look anything like a pizza at all. It was so gross. I didn't even make him eat it. After I took a bite of it, I understood why he didn't want to eat it. Pizza should have sauce and cheese on it and not look burnt or be tasteless. He orders the pizza every single time we go there and this was a first for us. We told him that he will have to order something else, if we ever go back again. Yesterday we choose not to go there and went someplace else because of the poor service and food quality we received last time. I work hard for my money and would like to receive quality food and service when I am paying for it at a restaurant. Sadly, the manager even came over to the table because the second pizza they gave us was just as horrible as the first, and I told the waitress it looked gross again. The craziest part was when the manager actually told me that because they are using "a new cheese blend and that this is just how the pizza comes out now". Seriously buddy? That's your excuse? I'm from NY and I know pizza and that didn't look like any pizza I've ever eaten before! No thank you! It'll be a minute before we return, if we return at all. You can do better YH! read more

At first I was hoping to find a Mom and Pop type local restaurant, it was late and I didn't have any luck, so I gave into hunger and decided to grab a bite at this link in the Yard House chain. Walking in after the dinner hour was mostly over, I was seated quickly and received friendly, attentive service. After asking several questions about various menu selections I ordered a Korean cheese-steak sub with onion rings. It came out quickly, and I was happy to find that it was actually quite good! The atmosphere here is somewhere between a restaurant and a bar, with a noise level that's tolerable, but a bit loud for my comfort level. Despite this, I enjoyed my meal and wouldn't have a problem returning. read more

The reviews really got me.... I will say the staff was nice and the ambiance was cool. It's like a classier version of a Applebee's... But the food. I can't can't can't even try to be nice about the food. Maybe just the dip but the other stuff no. The "boneless" chicken wings weren't evenly coated with sauce. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich ehhh...i like the fries? Lol I'm trying to be nice here The lobster noodles, my bf got that and he was not happy. At all!! He only ate the lobster meat. He didn't like the sauce and the noodles were dry and still hard. Before COVID we won a $25 gift card for the Yard House and never had an opportunity to use it. Yesterday we stopped there for a late lunch to use the gift card and check out a new place. Our visit was full of contradictions. First off, I really like the ambiance and the spaciousness of the place. The staff was friendly right off and we were seated right away. The waitress and her trainee were right over and water was on the table in no time. Each table has a mobile computing device that lets you call wait staff, pay your bill, and asks for your comments. It certainly gives the appearance that they really want to make sure they provide a good experience and care about feedback. The menu is extensive but most items are very calorie-heavy. I had hoped for a more balanced menu with some lighter fare. There were a few options, like a Zoodle Bowl, which my wife ordered. I had the Kale and Romaine Salad with Chicken, but even this choice was a high-calorie choice. On the bright side, the dishes were delicious and delivered in very little time. When they arrived at the table I discovered that the neatly wrapped silverware was filthy dirty - heavy goo stuck on the fork. I obviously asked for a clean set which I received with the comment that they wanted to make sure I had a "fancy" set - no thank you. I don't need fancy - all I need is clean. Which brings me to the next thing - the replacement set still didn't really look clean. It was obviously put through a dishwasher - which leaves it "clean enough" but it had spots all over it. Restaurants really should give silverware a "once over" polish to make sure they stuff also looks clean. It's detail so many chains forget. The locally owned guys usually get this right. One more thing on this. The manager heard about this right away and was over almost on the spot to make sure I had a replacement set. However, that interaction was almost a bit awkward. No intro, no actual "sorry about that", just a quick "did you get a replacement". In retrospect, I see no reason for the man to come over to our table. It certainly wasn't service recovery. Overall my experience was lukewarm. They have a great concept, but so many of the details weren't quite right in their execution. After thinking about it, there's enough to make me doubt that I'll stop back. There are plenty of places to chose from in San Diego. read more
We were able to secure a table upon a last minute walk-in for a party of 12 during Mother's Day! We had a fantastic waitress named Claire, who had a label "trainer" under her name tag. She is a wonderful waitress, who should be doing trainings because of her enthusiasm, alertness, and doing the utmost (without being overbearing) for a huge party like ours! I like how there is a wide variety on the menu. I loved the wonton chips that go along w the ahi appetizer. I wasn't a huge fan of the spinach dip chips, but they did provide an extra plate of tortilla chips upon request. We ended up ordering a lot of appetizers, which made us full before we got to the main course. I ordered the Mac and cheese, which was really good and I hope it is good as leftovers! The mothers were given complimentary creme brûlée cheesecakes and 10 dollar gift certificates, which was super cool and surprising at the last minute! Great place to chill and have a laid back evening. This Yard House is located in a mall. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. I was drawn in like a moth to a flame by the really cool blue lighting at the front (you can see it in the evening)! I am VERY thankful Yard House has vegan options. The Gardein Wings with lemon pepper rub is a MUST! You'll thank me later. They can also make other dishes vegan with modifications. The person who helped us was patient and nice. She was also knowledgeable about the menu and answered any questions I had. You can also look at VeggL for Vegan options at Yard House. I read one of the orders from the site and it was made with no problem! Yard House also has a great selection of beer and cocktails. This one in particular was clean and we'll kept. Because it's YUMMY. Many "truffle" based mac n' cheese recipes use mushrooms (in this case, oyster mushrooms).
