I thought it was really cool they have a computer on the table so you can order apps yourself but also to help you decide what drink to order based on your preferences. My friend and I had dinner at Yard House before going to a European concert broadcasted at the Dedham cinema. We loved the food quality of Yard House. We were even more impressed with the service, especially the attentive manager who really listens to the customers and provide instant solutions. Our server, Jon, was very helpful and patient with my party of two The digital menu is very easy to navigate and easily send orders to the kitchen! We came during Happy Hour and got the Shiitake Garlic Noodles (without shiitake) and Boneless Wings with 2 sauces (Barbecue and Korean Chili), both were great!! We've been here a few times for lunch--the food is always pretty good and they could easily be 5 stars except for the service and small things. For example, at our most recent visit, there were quite a few empty tables but we were walked through the dining room and seated literally at the bathroom--Nothing says delicious food like the smell of toilets. The table has been sticky every visit, including this recent one. The server/wait staff are very inattentive and you have to flag them down for service. Half the time the tablet on the table doesn't work for ordering or checkout. This recent visit my fork wasn't fully clean either. read more

The one complaint I have about this establishment is that noise level (music) is really ridiculous. I mean you'd think you were out at the club! I couldn't hear my dining companion, nor our server without a real struggle. Food is delicious! Burgers are really excellent, and I tried the jambalaya which could have used a tad more heat, but seasoned very flavorfully so I wasn't mad about it! It's in a mall, the atmosphere is pretty uninspired but it's clean, the service was excellent and the food, while nothing to write home about was solid. My group started with nachos and they were good. Not spicy, not original. Nothing really special, but fine. I had a steak bowl with quinoa and it was also good, but the menu said it would be spicy.. wasn't at all. In fact it was all just a bit bland. All well cooked, came out fast, and was fresh.. just nothing really blew my mind. Whiskey selection was ok. Could be much better but there's some solid choices. Got an old fashioned and I wasn't disappointed, wasn't blown away either. This is the safe choice. You won't offend anyone going here, won't rock the boat, everyone will find something they like. It's my friends birthday and we were trying to put our name in on the waitlist for our party of 8. Online said that they could only put you on the waitlist for a party of 6 or less and to call for larger parties. So we called and the first hostess we spoke to was rude, but the call dropped due to bad service. We proceeded to call back and the second person told us that we could make a reservation and took down our information. But then went back on her word and said that we could not do a reservation or put our name on the waitlist until we arrive in person. Came here for lunch on a Saturday. We were able to get seated right away by the hostess once she had taken care of a few parties before us. The Parmesan truffle french fries came out quick but the portion was smaller than what I remembered. The fries were also more similar to traditional fast food fries than the slimmer string fries. My friend ordered the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, she added avocado and bacon slices to the sandwich. I had the Baja Fish, the carne asada and the Korean barbecue beef tacos. The rice served with the tacos was dry and tasted like the prepackaged kind you could get from the grocery store. The beef was barely ground nor were they slices, kind of an awkward in between. The beans were decent with cubes of feta which was a first. I did like the fresh toppings and avocado for each taco. As for the grilled cheese and soup, I don't have any complaints other than it being slightly greasy. Overall, mediocre experience. Definitely not the type to leave a review usually just let it go.. but after a long b.s night tryna turn it to better it got worse. missed our concert due to transportation. We decided dinner got lucky and found two seats at the bar! But shortly afterwards things took a turn. The first bartender never put our appetizer in/ never check in , shortly afterwards another young lady came to take our main course & when asked about the appetizer we put in like 15min ago ... her reply was its looks like its not on the check with a snark attitude like its our fault they forgot....w.e let it go but After a 45min wait on food ,when it arrived not a single bartender mind you there was at least 3-4 behind bar nobody check in on us. It came with incorrect sides, they were uncooked rice and al dente carrots and French fries. Food came out at 1049. Waitress came over after closing and asked if all was ok with my food... Wife was over served 4 Prosecco in short of 1hr. Management...where are you? Disregard the low star reviews you see and come to Yard House! TLDR: Vibrant sports bar, LARGE collection of beer and quality food. The first time I went to this location was in October 2021 with a friend who swears by this place and I see why. They have more than enough TV's, friendly service, seating booths big enough for a family reunion and the energy is as high as Snoop Dogg. The crowd is mostly adults, but is family friendly. I recently came back a few times this past week. I ordered the steak bowl and LAWD HAVE MERCY were my expectations exceeded. The bowl was savory AF and included sesame brown rice, red quinoa, shiitake mushrooms and bunch of other vegetables I won't waste your time with. The point is it was healthy and satiating. If this were my last meal, I'd be content :) The third time I came I here I ate outside while I was working and the wifi was robust. I also asked if I could charge my phone and they were accommodating. Through out my time here one of the hosts asked me how the wifi was and a different host asked me if a thoughtful tone if I got my cell phone back. It seemed like they actually cared about my entire experience. My server was calm, attentive, but not overbearing. I had the chicken tenders and fries and they were on point as well. I am under the belief that most of the food here is great (especially for a sports bar). I will say this location can get very busy at all times of the day so if you have a large group you may have to wait a while. Let me start off by saying the restaurant/hospitality industry needs to start paying the kitchen staff more $$, $20-25 per hour is not cutting it. You can tell by the taste of the food, ticket times, waitstaff issues and overall cleanliness of the restaurants. The Yard house is subject to all of it, ticket times, waitstaff issues and cleanliness issues. The waitstaff person we had was absolutely terrible, the person didn't know if they were coming or going. No check ins, no refills, no knowledge of the 86 list, just terrible, they are keeping this person most likely because they can't keep help on the service floor. The food was terrible, waited one hour for apps, 1.5 hours for food. The food was under the heat lamp for 25 min, the top of the plate was red hot and the middle of the food was lukewarm warm. It sucks for the patrons, spending hard earned money on garbage. The Yard house in Dedham was spot on in the past, but that has changed, management needs to check in more often, and corporate should show there face more often as well. Darden usually produces a pretty decent product, but this location is in need of help. I know they are opening a Yard house in Millbury, Ma hopefully they put together a better team than the Dedham location. Well Yard house I bid you a farewell for a while, hopefully in six months or so they fix the problems they have in Dedham, trust me someone knows the problem, maybe the head cook! read more

There are many reasons I just dont come back to Yardhouse and I decided to give it another try but never again. This location is horrendous and what a mess. First off, the hostess station front of house is a disorganized mess of fumbling and scattered 3 people not knowing what is happening. Secondly, the floor and surrounds of this location is disgusting, the floor under our table was trashed, plates on the floor and nasty sticky food. Additionally, the wait staff tries here and I give them credit, but the service is so slow and disorganized, this meal literally took hours, and its not like fine dining here at all so not sure what the hold up is. The drinks even took forever and the food was sporadic and one plate at a time. The food, sub par bar food at best, steak bowl was odd combination of vegetables, too many onions and tough steak. The appetizers were ok, but I can find these in any hole in the wall bar and in the end, the bill which was outrageous pricing for sub par food and service and overly loud music, this place has gone way downhill. Skip it, there are like 5 other places in Legacy that are much better. read more

Saw the fish and chips and figured simple is best. appetizer was ordered, boneless chicken tenders, sauce on the side, chop sticks to help " pick up" the food. But my friend doused the ranch dressing in with the buffalo sauce, so.... Loud! It was quite loud there, but could hear the waitstaff. This is a chain restaurant that is conveniently located in Legacy Place. We opted for this restaurant as it got some of the best reviews in the shopping center and also came up as a close match on Google to a restaurant we love in RI. We were impressed with the huge selection of draft beers. They had tons of familiar choices along with craft choices. We both tried a new beer and liked both of our options. Mark opted for the "vampire tacos" which had a cheesy crust over the flour tortillas served with Beans and spicy rice. He loved his! I got the abuela chicken served with street corn and spicy rice. For being in New England I would've expected to see a little larger section of New England IPA's but there were 3-4 offerings. Food is pretty much standard bar food and it's a big scene so noise level is pretty strong. I've both eaten in at a table and sat at the bar and service was pretty decent. Not a bad joint. Very upset that I drove here to get my favorite poke nachos and it was wrong and I had to throw out my whole order. The person serving in my receipt says Kitarisa F. And I went in after looking at the sauces and noticed one was strange. I tried a bite and it tasted salty and oily. I went in and explained and the lady tried to say it was the fish. I also explained that I have had them multiple times in NY and Las Vegas and that they had a sweet sauce not oil. She proceeded to tell me all the sauces are in there. Well I got back in the car drove home and when I got home dumped what I thought was "all the CORRECT sauces" onto my nachos. Ends up being sesame oil. My whole entire plate that I paid for was ruined. And of course there's is no other yard house around. Very upset with this location especially after I had went in and explained the sauce looked odd. We had a great time at Yard House! The host was fantastic and very accommodating for our large group. We were seating without a wait at around 9pm for a party of 6 on a Saturday night. They have fantastic appetizers! The Poke Nachos are a MUST HAVE- they were delicious with just the slightest hint of truffle. We also had the Boneless Wings with Korean chili garlic sauce and they were devoured within a few minutes. For my entree, I ordered the Korean BBQ Cheesesteak which I wasn't a big fan of. Overall, I would say their appetizers are better then their entrees and we will probably just order appetizers next time. This Yard House is conveniently located at Legacy place which has a ton to do! This would be a great spot to grab a bite after a day of shopping, bowling or watching a movie. read more
