Dinner with friends at the Yard House. It started off quiet and the place slowly filled as we hung out here for more than two hours. Service was excellent and attentive. They got drinks refilled, brought out our food orders (accurately) and cleared away dirty dishes. Great. I arrived just before the end of the happy hour (half off appetizers!) I ordered a Poke Nachos to start and managed to eat about half of it all by myself before the first of my friends arrived. A nice portion of wonton chips topped with chunks of tuna poke, chunks of avocado, a spicy sauce and a few thin sliced jalapeno peppers. Delicious and spicy. When friend one arrived, we got the buffalo cauliflower to share. Extremely hot from the fryer, there was nothing healthy going on here. Bite sized pieces of cauliflower, breaded and fried, then topped with a spicy buffalo sauce. Delicious! For mains, I chose the lobster mac & cheese. A major portion here, not too much cheese, a decent amount of lobster and plenty of pasta. Nicely presented with a bread crumb dusting on top, it was easy to eat until I was suddenly very full. Always been a fan of Yard House, they have lots of food options and huge drinks menu! Can always find something for everyone. During COVID, there is a good amount of space between the guests, they are not seating at all booths and tables and everyone was wearing masks. They even have a hands free door pedal on the bathroom door. We came for a late lunch and we're able to enjoy happy hour where select apps and pizzas were half off. Boneless chicken - Korean chili garlic - the chicken had a slight crunch and was well coated with the sauce. I much prefer the firecracker sauce that they had previously. Wish they can bring it back! Ahi sashimi - worth it for the half price. Good amount of sashimi and it had a good crust on the outside of the fish. The menu said it's a soy vinaigrette, but it was actually a thick Asian sesame dressing. Dressing seemed thick for the fish. Poke nachos - one of my favorite apps from Yard House. Good amount of tuna and wonton chips. When you get everything on the chip, it's a tasty bite! Fried calamari - light batter with a nice crunch Carnivore pizza - lots of meat and a nice chewy crust. This location left a lot to be desired. The food tasted great of course, up to standard however the restaurant floor was covered in small puddles of water and the floor of the bathroom was an absolute fall risk. Pretty scary when walking around and it felt outright unsanitary. I came here on a Friday night after work with colleagues and this place was poppin'! This restaurant is located in Legacy Plaza and was incredibly busy. For parking, they have a parking lot that they saw with the neighboring restaurants and stores and a large garage so there's plenty of parking. For drinks, I got the Southern Tier Warlock and Sam Adams Octoberfest. You can't go wrong with Sam Adams, but the Warlock was really good. It was an imperial stout with hints of chocolate and pumpkin pie. For food, we just got a bunch of appetizers so that we could share. We got the Poke Nachos, Poke Stack, Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds, Fried Calamari, Korean Barbeque Beef, and Moo Shu Eggrolls. The Poke appetizers are great if you love sushi! The Poke Nachos were a nice American take on Poke. It had a large portion of avocado and sweet soy sauce that mixed well with the nachos and Poke. Our next favorite were the fried cheese curds. They were fried to perfection and were very addicting. The Korean BBQ and the egg rolls were also decent. The weakest dish was the Fried Calamari because it felt a little cold when it came out. Overall, this was a fun dinner! The food was amazing and the restaurant is located in a hip part of town. I was attending a seminar at the Hilton down the street from the restaurant so I needed a good quick and easy meal. I open my Yelp app and liked what I saw of yard houses offerings. Been to Yard House a hand full of times. It's always a vibe here, guaranteed good time! I can say service is pretty much consistent, from hosts to waiters. I haven't had any issues. Seating is plentiful and ideal for practically any occasion. I've tried everything from their tacos, burgers, salads, and wings. Can't go wrong with any of those choices. Food is always delicious. Drinks here are abundantly endless, especially when it comes to beer choices. Only downside for me, is actually coming at a time you're able to get in. Dinner at the Yard House was just what we needed after a long day out in the cold! There was a short wait but plenty of seating to wait. They had a nice atmosphere, lively with people but not to loud that you couldn't hear people at your table. Our server was very attentive. The decor very up to date. There were also enough TVs to check the football games without making it feel like a super sports bar. The food was delicious. We shared chicken nachos for an appetizer and the portion was both very large and tasty. The grilled cheese with avocado was different and very good, as was the tomato soup. The Nashville Hot Chicken lived up to the name and was equally as good as the Nachos and grilled cheese and soup. Check this restaurant out if in the area and looking for some good eats. read more

I've never had a bad experience here from customer service to food! Maybe because I use to work in retail I know how to talk to people? Khrytsa, Chris, and all of the bartenders are great! They know how to make you feel welcomed and when they aren't slammed, crack a joke with you. First timer here. Legacy place location Heard lots about the place had to dine here after shopping : was greeted by a very pleasant man who seated me. Beer and food arrived timely and wait staff was truly pleasant and over the top helpful. (Another Five stars just for this !). So refreshing these days ! Food was delish ! The guacamole was fabulous / fresh/ fantastic ! Had the Korean beef tacos (yum ). (Beef was slightly grisly in one of the tacos but I overlooked it ). This was my first time eating at the Yard House in Dedham. It is your typical bar type restaurant. I like the menu though as they have a variety of options. For starters we shared the tuna poke nachos. They were actually a really decent size for two people. The poke was tasty and fresh and they gave you a lot of fish as well as avocado which I appreciated. For my main course I had the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce. The presentation wasn't great it looked like everything had been slapped together on the plate but it tasted ok. I probably wouldn't order this again. I would have preferred a creamier vodka sauce as opposed to just tomato. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and would be happy to eat there again. read more

I loved the large booths available to accommodate large parties, and the large amount of choices on the menu. I am vegetarian and I was able to find options easily which is always a plus. Problem is very often there is a long wait....half an hour or longer which means it is not a place I go to often if im there for a movie. During Lunch hours it isnt that busy so I will go if there is no wait. If it werent for the wait, id say its a five star place. If I have to wait...I just go next door where there usually is no wait. I have visited this location multiple times, and it's a popular restaurant at Legacy Place so you might need to wait or have a reservation if possible. The food is usually pretty good, and it's like an American sports bar, so their appetizers and smaller plates are great, especially the nachos, which are great for sharing. Staff is usually super nice as well. I have visited more recently as well. They had both indoor and outdoor seating available, with the indoor tables spaced out. He said it was cooked to perfection and enjoyed. We had a few beers; very extensive variety of beers to choose from. It did take a while for food to arrive to table, but when it did, it was hot. Solid happy hour menu of half-priced apps! Fellow diner and I worked up a hunger bowling at Kings went for Yard House's happy hour late night half priced apps after 10PM Sun - Thurs. Highly recommend going during happy hour if you want apps. The poke nachos were small, you can get a whole bowl of poke for the original price ($13.75) of those nachos. Even with all the sauces (sweet soy, sriacha aioli, truffle sauce) the chips were still crunchy but there wasn't enough tuna to get a piece per chip. The calamari was great and the sauces were on point. First time I've had such garlicky marinara sauce and I wish more places did this. The carnivore pizza is simply a frozen pepperoni pizza topped with seasoned ground beef and bacon. Soggy but hey, it's pizza. The Korean BBQ boneless wings were very pungent (fish sauce pungent) and came out piping hot fresh. They're obviously not Bonchon quality but I found them rather good with the thick crunchy outside and the juicy tender white meat inside. I ordered a pineapple express cocktail, didn't taste the alcohol but it sure did creep up! Fellow diner got a Guinness. Total of the night was $47 w/tax. Service was sparse but the food and drinks came out quickly since only the bar was packed. Free parking. Clean bathrooms. Great location.
