We stumbled upon this place on a fluke. We had made reservations at a swanky restaurant nearby, but they didn't honor our reservation time. (We arrived a few minutes early, and were told it was a 45 minute wait - with a reservation!) As it turned out, Yard House had immediate seating available, so we changed our plans. It was the best decision we could have made. The dining area is comfortable and relaxed. Our server was lovely, and we were impressed with the flavors of the food. I enjoyed the jambalaya (not "spicy" but very flavorful) and a Malibu Peach. My husband was happy with his burger, but was very impressed with the Smokey Old Fashioned. It's been quite a few years since I've been to this yard house, we moved further north and don't come to park meadows much anymore. Always had good experiences here. It's Saturday night, we walked in about 5.30/6pm and was delighted that it was only about a 15 minute wait for a table. We weren't sure how welcome kids were either because we consider the yard house to be quite nice, but walking in the door and immediately seeing 3 other kids older and younger than ours was very settling. Our waiter, Mario, was awesome. He was very understanding and sweet to our almost 2 year old and got him sorted with drinks and crayons immediately. He was ready to get his food order started early also but we were actually ready to order too so we just put it all in together. The bar was a tad slower but Mario kept on top of things and us updated on our beer progress. Food wise: kids pepperoni pizza and fruit was good. All very fresh and the pizza wasn't so hot you had to wait forever to cool down. I had the poke bowl which was delicious, a good size and filling. My husband had the ribeye and everything was great but he didn't love the sauce that it came with. We also shared a dessert trio of a brûlée cheesecake, chocolate cake and peach cobbler. Yard House is the kind of place you go to catch a game, grab a bite, and throw back some cold ones with friends. I've stopped in a few different times over the years and while the experiences haven't been terrible; they also haven't been that memorable. PROs: ++ Yes, they have an extensive beer menu. So if you have a friend in town for a limited amount of time wanting to sample a variety of beers - this is def a place to consider. ++ The kitchen is open late. ++ Tons of space and a huge wrap-around bar. ++ Very modern! CONs: -- While the kitchen may be open late, the food wasn't as good as I hoped. -- Servers were pretty inattentive. We were quoted 15-25 minutes and were sat an hour and a half later. We watched multiple parties being sat way before us that had arrived after us (all the same or similar number of people in their parties) and meanwhile the host team kept saying we were next up. I love the idea that you can split the bill by your group. That was amazing. They have a small monitor that shows you the menus and also at the end you can just split anything you had with your friends and pay. The beer was good . I liked the local flights beer , it gave us idea what to drink. They have pineapple cider which I've never heard of it before . That was interesting and different. So sweet but hey if you are a cider Perron give it a try. The pizza was delicious . The sandwiches was tasty. The decorations was nice and the services was great. Not bad, not great. Maybe I ordered the "wrong" thing? I had the Mac and cheese- it was fine. The sauce was pretty thin, but it tasted fine. It was a bit expensive for what it was, but I'd give it another chance next time I'm in the area. We ordered Grubhub delivery, and from what I understand from the delivery driver, something went wrong with yard houses system, causing a delay and the food saying it was ready when it never got sent to the kitchen. It sounded like the manager was really apologetic to the driver- we weren't upset by the delay, it was a busy Saturday night so delays happen. But it sounds like their customer service is pretty good and they are very apologetic if something goes wrong. There was plenty on the menu that looked good, so maybe next time no Mac and cheese- but something else! read more

Although it's been a while since my last visit, when one has a gift card, one must use it. We chose to spend happy hour with my parents last night and were pleasantly surprised, yet again. Here's why: HAPPY HOUR: what a killer deal! $1 off beers (all 162!) and wells, $2 off wines and specialty cocktails - and food ranges in price for all. STAFF: ultra friendly, smart, funny and just plain cool. our server, was cracking jokes and made our experience that much better with his positive attitude. he brought our drinks promptly, exchanged my mom's beer when he accidently brought the wrong one, and made sure our meals came out at the same time! SPACE: upscale/chill/relaxed/exudes a party vibe - which is just my style. Although this place tends to fill up fast and is extremely loud, it definitely is a fun atmosphere and worth it! we sat in a booth near their extensive bar and found it comfortable and just what we wanted for happy hour. FOOD: not too shabby! their menu has changed a lot since I was last in, and a bunch of their dishes have changed! I opted for a flatbread pizza and side kale salad, while the hubby ordered a Tennessee (spicy bbq!) chicken sandwich with their signature shoestring fries. The rents both ordered burgers and were satisfied! It's really the perfect place to go if no one in your party can figure out what they want as their menu ranges from Mexican, to Asian, to American to Italian. It wasn't spicy just flavorful (good thing) The service was ok (remember we had a big group) they took care of everything fine and fast, even the check. This isn't always the case when we have a group at some other places. Nice clean atmosphere but a bit noisy, but our group was a big part of it! Only complaint was parking. It was raining and we had to walk through the rain and empty roped off parking, maybe for valet parking? What BS. I've been to many valet restaurants and you park close and can let people off by the door. You shouldn't inconvenience anyone to cater to other people, thus 4 instead of 5 stars. read more

I can only really speak for their happy hour apps and drinks. Price is a killer for happy hour apps. I love how filling some of their apps are for the price point. With that said...most of them are just average. I loved the Moscow mule. I would have loved it more if it had a stronger ginger taste, though. 4/5 Pork lumpia was okay. Kind of expected more flavors (6 total) 3.5/5 Lettuce wrap was surprisingly really good but on the smaller side. Pretty flavorful and had a variety of sauces I liked. 4/5 Poke nachos were probably one of my top 2 favorites. Definitely wished they gave us more fish, but I'm sure that would be expensive. Very flavorful and pretty decent sized portion. 4.5/5 Calamari was a bust. Overcooked and flavorless...only saving factor is maybe the size and price point. 2.5/5 Spinach dip was REALLY good. Wish they had bigger portions though. Chips are crispy and dip was cheesy and good. 4.5/5 BBQ chicken (?) pizza was shockingly good. I don't usually like these kinds of pizzas but I was pleasantly surprised that the sweet sauce wasn't overpowering. 4/5 Overall, I'd probably go again for some of their appetizers. For apps we shared nachos- they're giant and really good, calamari is crispy and the sauces are tasty, truffle fries delight my taste buds and the crab and lobster dip was good but nothing spectacular. Yes it's a chain restaurant, but I've never had a bad experience here. I love that I can get free tasters of beer, shorty beers so I can have a bit of everything I want and the ability to mix different beers together. My favorite is mixing Framboise with a dark chocolate stout. I also like mixing sours with a citrusy IPA. You can't go wrong with their food either. Their fried Brussels sprouts and potatoes served with a lemon aioli is awesome and bright, their fried cheese curds are served with a sweet/spicy sauce and their burgers, steaks, ranch salad, ahi crunchy salad, Korean short rib bowl and coconut shrimp are all on point. They got rid of their coffee macadamia dessert but I make up for it with another beer! read more

This Yard House is in a great location at Park Meadows. We had a group of six and they accommodated us easily in this crazy Covid world that we live in right now. We went in for an early lunch. The service was great. Our food was a mixed bag of very tasty appetizers, entrees that were either home runs or just "meh," and an unimpressive dessert. I didn't know you could mess up carrot cake, but apparently you can. Great drink menu. The carrot cake didn't deter us from wanting to loiter and imbibe. Impressive bar as well. Overall, our consensus was that the food was just typical of a big chain. Ya just aren't sure whether the menu description will actually translate into a good dish. read more

I first want to say if it wasn't for our sever being amazing this experience could have been way worse. Our server was incredible and very friendly, and on top of it he gave an exceptional experience to us. Now to where we had a problem. We had a reservation at 6pm and came in at 5:40 hoping to get sat a little earlier. The hostess told us that we would be sat closer to our reservation time of 6pm which was originally fine with us until we saw about 6 different groups of people come in who were walk ins and they were getting sat before us. We asked the hostess again why walk ins are getting sat and not use and she told us that since we have a reservation we can't be sat until near that reservation time which makes no sense. If there are tables open and the full party is there (there were 2 of us) why couldn't we get sat sooner? Honestly we should have canceled our reservation on the spot and asked to be put on the walk in list since we would have been sat right away vs waiting 20 minutes. It didn't help that 2 of the hostesses were very rude about the entire situation and didn't seem to want to help us get sat. Again if it weren't for our severe we would have never came back, but now for future don't even bother booking a reservation since you will get priority if you're a walk in it seems like. Excellent experience and great VEGAN food on a busy Saturday night! We had a party of 6, called ahead and arrived to find a packed house, and a wait list. The call ahead reduced our wait time to 20 minutes after which, we were seated in a location where I had a full view of tables, the bar and the kitchen. I was elated to find so many excellent, vegan choices. Three people in our party are all vegan and had no issues finding & enjoying terrific food. Service was good but the food is always just average. We settled for Yard House because all the neighboring restaurants had over an hour wait time and they were only at 10-15 minutes. We had the moo shu eggrolls to start and they were really just ok to us s the flavors were fine but the centers were cold. I had the french dip and the roll was soggy before even dipping it. Hubs pizza was not crisp and he compared it to chucky cheese. Guess there is a reason everyone waits for the other restaurants in the area. 2 stars rather than 1 for just the food because our server Nate was really good. read more

Yard House is one of my favorite casual restaurants. Great decor, fantastic bar area and the location is convenient. Start with the cheese curds or chicken nachos.
