Popped in while getting the car charged and what batter way to wait than to get something to cool off with. Originally the plan was to charge the car at the charging station in the lot. From there grab a drink while we wait before heading to lunch. One thing lead to another and we ended up just having lunch here instead. It's alway bar seating for us the last few times we've been. Service was a little slow at the beginning as it did take a while for a drink. The place wasn't that busy when we walked in as there wasn't even a host at the table. We just walked up to bar and seated ourselves. After we got served, it was great. The staff were very friendly and sweet. It was still a little too early for happy hour which is alway a good time to visit as the deals are great. Discount on drinks and half off appetizers on a lot of items. For lunch, the new items in the menu of garlic beef noodles. I had it a while back at another location and was quite impressed with the dish. Enough garlic taste with decent slices of beer that's marinated and tossed in a garlic noodles with veggies. If you haven't tried it, it's quite tasty. Also the three tacos with rice and beans. They're decent in size and the shrimps were quite tasty and big. Rice and beans were actually combined together compared to on their own. Lastly the hummus plate which is a starter was quite nice. And of course the truffle fries, alway a must. Food was good and the service was nice. A little slow at the beginning but it did make up later on. People did start to show up as it was approaching happy hour. At least with Yard House, it's good that you know what to expect.

Early Sunday lunch @ Yardhouse.. huge is an understatement.

SHORT ANSWER: Yes, this place has been great for us... I've done a few reviews so this is an update to my other updates.. LOCATION: In The River in Rancho Mirage, hard to miss, lots of parking but at times this entire center gets slammed. Since Babe's left the property, it seems like the property is still active. Lease rates here are kind of out of touch with the market. FACILITY: So nice inside, well laid out with tons of space, TV, beer, and booths and tables. MENU: great option, look online you will find what you want, need. FOOD PREP: perfect on each of our visits, for what it is they do a great job... kitchen manager must be Jedi. FOOD QUALITY: very good, tastes as good as it looks and we've ordered many of the options here, doubtful you will be disappointed. LIBATIONS: Large and in charge, we did not drink anything on the visit but I am sure at peak hours or events, this place is happening. WAITSTAFF: ALWAYS IMPRESSED, from reception to server, people are nice, fun, and seem happy to be working there... Not always the case in these type of restaurants. Our server, Alexiss, was just so amazing, ask for her section and tip her like you're a billionaire. OVERALL VALUE: very good, we shared a burger not to be cheap, rather that is all we can eat. Never anyone complaining with some split plate fee, we tip for two and don't need to waste take-home containers for food we usually throw away. This is a well managed establishment which is not easy in this thin margin business... so impressed I am... ya more Yoda Jedi speak! TIP: Outdoor seating is very nice, pretty quiet but can a little warm in the hots months.

I had a great time coming to this place! It was packed on the day I tried this place for the first time but we were able to get a table in less than 30 mins and we got some great service while there also the table booth we were seated at was big and spacious. :) The place was very lively (especially since that day was a game day when we went) but even tho there was lots of people it didn't feel crowded. The food was SO GOOD, I really LOVED the truffle fries they had, also both the pizza and chicken tenders were good. :D I really recommend coming to this place to eat, I also recommend coming by during its happy hour since they have lots of good options! :D

Best deals are during Happy Hour which runs Monday through Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm where you can get 50% off select appetizers and pizzas. All the dishes are full-portions. I went during Happy Hour and each dish was between $8-$9 which is really a fantastic deal. I like that you can order and pay directly from the tablet that's on the table. Even though I utilized the tablet, the server was friendly and she consistently checked on me and made sure my beverage was refilled. I blame the good deals for enabling me to be a big back. I ended up ordering four dishes even though I was dining alone. 1. Chicken Nachos: A hefty portion that comes with chicken, tomato's, fresh sliced jalapeños, cilantro, green onion, sour cream and guacamole. Cheese is baked onto the tortilla chips and finished with a drizzle of salsa. A bit skimpy of the protein, I did wish there was more chicken. 2. Truffled Mushroom Pizza: Great if you like a strong umami mushroom flavor. A mix of shiitake, cremini and oyster mushrooms and drizzled with truffle aioli. The crust was decent and a good amount of cheese. A little greasy. 3. Poke Nachos: Love the crunch from the fried wonton chips. Comes with raw tuna, fresh avocado, serrano peppers, green onions, nori, and drizzled with sriracha aïoli, white truffle sauce, and sweet soy ginger sauce. I think they used a bit too much soy ginger sauce because it was a tad salty. Still a very refreshing dish! 4. Classic Sliders: Generously comes with four sliders topped with cheddar and their special sauce. Comes with a side of fries and pickles. I loved the brioche buns and as basic as cheeseburgers are, this was probably my favorite dish. I was stuffed and had plenty to take home. Overall a good experience!

Visiting from out of town so stopped in on a Thursday afternoon for a quick bite with family. The place was packed, but we were able to grab a table quickly. Chips + guacamole and edamame for apps were great. We ordered the HH buffalo pizza, the burger and fries and the kale Caesar - all were good choices - large portions and flavorful. Plenty of parking nearby.

Ate here today for happy hour and am not sure hat was up with the server. She was not attentive and/or weeded but still had time to stop by the bar and chat with a lady sitting by herself. It was empty when we got there and filled up quickly. So I get being in the weeds. Our POS terminal was removed after she spilled beer all over my kid. She left and eventually came back. This normally is our go to spot for a late lunch as you can't go wrong with the food. Normally we would have ordered more drinks and even refills through the machine. She finally showed up after the manager came to assist us settling the check. Her demeanor when she realized we had escalated getting out of there is worthy of a write up. Her smile and smugness and overall demeanor lacked maturity and professionalism for her age. Hard pass on her but still a solid place to enjoy good food with great prices. No attempt to upsell from her whatsoever....

Cheers!

In the area for a few nights and stopped in to see a football game with a few of our friends. Unbelievable selection of draft beers, great food and awesome bartenders. The Mango Cart is delicious and a must try, along with the Ahi Stack, and Blackened Chicken Cesar salad. Located at the Riverwalk amongst many other restaurants, stores and bars. The Yard House is loud, has many T.V.s and is conveniently located to many hotels in the area. We all had a great time at the bar top and would highly recommended watching a football game here, the energy was great and the atmosphere was fantastic. Cheers!

Ambiance is that of a sports bar, but better, with more of a rock vibe. Beer selection was excellent! Our server, Alexis, was friendly and prompt. She kept an eye on us to be sure our drinks were filled and table cleared. Happy hour is the time to go with drink specials and half off most apps. We got the poke nachos and it had to be one of the best things we've had in a long time! I could have had another plate and been super happy! Also got the black pepper whiskey nuggets which we good but nothing compared those nachos! Would recommend!

The Carnivore Pizza

Great experience, have not been to a Yard House in a very long time. Not sure why when there is one close to me, just was not on my radar. Love the fact this is a beer lovers paradise, they have over 100 beers on tap, on top of that, their pizza is excellent, very unexpected, but very happy I tried it. I got the Carnivore, pepperoni, seasoned beef, spicy sausage, crispy bacon, mozzarella and tomato. Great mix of flavors with the various toppings, the crust was soft, with crisp edges very tasty all around. I did go in for one of their Yard's of beer, just had to experience it once I guess. This thing was very tall, but it is actually not as big as you think, it is 32 ounces. It was cold and tasted great. My server was super cool, helpful, gave me suggestions and I was even able to try a few samples of different beers. Great experience. This is a very large Yard House, modern interior, concrete all around. Very clean inside with a ton of seating inside as well as a big patio for sitting outside. Located in a very pretty area with fountains and outdoor seating areas. They have a huge parking lot as well, so parking is not an issue. Enjoy!

The food here was decent, but unfortunately the overall experience was overshadowed by very poor service. Our large party asked for an outdoor table to be wiped down, and the manager responded rudely, saying they were too busy to do it. Even though the restaurant was clearly busy, the attitude and lack of basic courtesy were disappointing. The ambiance however was fine. Service throughout the visit was slow and not friendly, which really took away from what could have been an enjoyable meal. With better customer service, this place could offer a much more positive experience, but based on this visit, it fell short.

The ohhhhh sooooooo yummy pretzel!! It's a must.

We watched the Dodger World Series at the Yard House last night and had the best time ever thanks to our server Lauren. It was her 6th day on the job and she did fantastic!!! She continued to check us throughout the evening and made sure we good every chance she could. We will be coming back again thanks to Lauren. She was so kind to my wife and I, and our friends. She sang happy birthday with us which was so much fun. Our friends and I had such amazing time and with humans like Lauren they really make a difference. Ohhhhh and the pretzel is soooo good and is a must have! Thank you for hiring her! Go Dodgers!

Booked a reservation for 9 on a Saturday night and had no trouble getting seated. Service was fast and accommodating for the two toddlers in our group. The food was good. I got the truffle cheese burger and the portion and the taste were good. It was really convenient to split the check with the device at our table!

Excellent service with a personable waiter. Second night we were seated too close to live music and moved so we could talk. Favorite starters were Peppercorn Crusted Ahi and Japanese Crispy Pork Belly ( just a teeny bit dry). Best entrees for us were Seared Scallops and Sonoma Duck Breast. These were both dishes to go back for. Steak was well made too. The supporting veg sides also very good, not just plate fillers. The Baby Wedge Salad was a nice option. Hope to try the Roasted Beet Salad next time. Don't really recommend the Dutch Molten Lava Cake because it was dry & nothing special. Crème brûlée option excellent. I had ordered a salad which was very fine. The dinner I ordered was the Scallop entree. It was so disappointing as it was burned, the Vegetables black and scallops like rubber. I had to return it... the waiter later said he definitely agreed.... But why did he serve me that then. It was taken off the bill for me but I was never offered any other replacement. Basically I didn't eat!

ONE STAR IS MORE THAN THIS PLACE DESERVES... I don't ask for…read morerefunds. I don't expect free food. I rarely leave one-star reviews. But this was genuinely one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years, and people deserve to know what they're walking into. This was supposed to be a family outing which included an elderly woman in her 90s. We chose this restaurant because of its glowing reviews, and after this experience, I honestly cannot fathom HOW it maintains such a high rating. Half of our table specifically came here for the "Pollo a la Brasa" - one of the most recognizable dishes at any Peruvian (this is also Columbian) restaurant. After we were seated, and spent time looking over the menu, it was time to order and our server informed us they were all out of the chicken. The problem wasn't just that they ran out... It was how everything was handled afterward. Our server insisted on speaking Spanish, and once it became obvious that not everyone at our table spoke Spanish, his attitude noticeably changed. Instead of helping us navigate the menu after the restaurant had run out of one of its signature dishes, he acted irritated that we needed a few extra minutes to decide on something else. Keep in mind we were dining with a woman in her 90s. We weren't lingering for fun--we were forced to rethink our entire order because the restaurant didn't have one of the main reasons we all came. Yet he came back multiple times looking impatient, irritated, and making us feel rushed for absolutely NO reason. We placed our order. Then another server walked by speaking English. We asked if running out of chicken was normal. His response... "The chicken will be done in about 10-15 minutes." That completely changed everything. So instead of our server telling us to wait 10-15 minutes for fresh chicken, he rushed us into ordering something else. Why?! If someone had simply communicated that information from the beginning, half our table would have gladly waited. Instead, we were pressured into substitute orders... And here's the kicker... After rushing us to order, Our food didn't arrive for another 45 minutes anyway. So, what exactly was the rush?! I ended up settling for the Lomo Saltado. I ordered my steak medium rare. It arrived Well-Done. DRY. Tough. The plate was mostly onions and fries with very little ACTUAL steak... Then came the seasoning--or lack of restraint of. Everything was so salty that it overwhelmed every other flavor on the plate. Not seasoned... SALTY. The kind of salty where after two bites you're reaching for water because that's literally all you can taste. Considering they're charging premium prices, neither the quality nor the portion justified the cost. I'm no newbie to this type of cuisine, I've eaten Peruvian food many times, and my regular spot in Los Angeles serves a Lomo Saltado that's significantly better for less money. As if that wasn't enough, one of the servers spilled water directly onto my phone. No apology. No acknowledgment. She simply looked at me confused and walked away as if nothing had happened. The atmosphere didn't match the prices either. The furniture and decor felt inexpensive while the menu prices suggested a much more polished dining experience. Throughout our meal there was constant traffic in and out of the kitchen that made the restaurant feel chaotic and disorganized. Nothing about the operation matched the premium image they're trying to project. What made it even more disappointing was seeing someone who appeared to be supervising or managing the restaurant - doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to address any of it. No one checked on our table. No one apologized. No one asked how the food was. No one seemed remotely interested in whether customers were actually enjoying their experience. By the end of the meal, my family and I just wanted to leave. The only reason we stayed, and didn't run for the door, was because we were with elderly relatives, and moving everyone again would have been much more stressful than simply enduring the rest of the experience. Between running out of their signature dish, poor communication, being rushed to order for no reason, waiting 45 minutes anyway, inattentive service, water spilled on my belongings - without an apology, overpriced food, an overcooked steak, tiny portions of meat, and food so salty it was barely enjoyable, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. The photos I'm posting speak for themselves. I came because of the reviews. I won't be back because of the experience. Save your money. There are far better Peruvian restaurants that actually earn their reputation. This one didn't earn mine.
