My family and I eat here regularly. We like the food and atmosphere. While eating dinner on Saturday night, we saw two dogs in the restaurant. They weren't service dogs. Two different tables had a small, yapper at their tables. I don't think dogs belong inside of a restaurant. We have two dogs and we have never taken them to a restaurant. We reserved a 16 top in advance to celebrate my father in laws birthday. When we arrived we didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for the table. That was awesome. Immediately, the server (name was Jane I believe?) greeted us with high energy and was ready to get us started. She asked us if we would be doing split checks, to which we replied yes, and her attitude was so great and outgoing. Her steps of service were on point! She got our drink orders and allowed us to get our little ones food going. The children's food came out so fast my wife and I were impressed. I started with a Espalon Tequila Reposado and soda and we had the chips and guacamole as an appetizer. For my entree I had the turkey stacked club sandwich. Our whole party was well taken care of by the server! Her good energy and vibes were seriously one of a kind. Her name tag said "trainer" underneath her name and I can see why. She was very attentive to our needs but never an overwhelming presence. My wife notified her that we were celebrating a birthday and she finished off strong by bringing a complimentary dessert. Had to give a shout out to Michael for giving us the absolute best service that we have had for a very long time, if not ever. He was so kind and attentive and really took the time to go above and beyond. He was there when needed, refills in advance, took the time to pass out our appetizer plates versus stacking them at the end of the table (never has anyone done this for us and we immediately showed our shock and appreciation), had our dips and special request at the table in advance before we got our meal, and great conversation. And to top it off, he was busy, but never did that affect the level of service he provided to all his tables. He was so gracious and humble when we thanked him for the amazing service. And the food was great too, but our service was so good that it wouldn't have mattered. lol! So thank you Michael for taking such great care of us! We really enjoyed the Yard House. The food and beer was excellent. There's a wide range of beer selections and the food is reasonably priced. As long as you like a sports bar vibe the ambiance is great, the place is full of energy, which was fun. The service was excellent. Makes me curious if they just picked out the shrimp and added chicken to the same pasta which made it extremely salty. Sent it back again and ordered something different. By the time I received my third entree my party had already finished eating so I just had them put it in a box for me. What an embarrassment. A waste of my time, a completely unenjoyable experience. My theory suggests they only stay in business by loading their customers up on booze and throwing mediocre food at them while they're incoherent and can't acknowledge just how bad this place really is. Service was nice, would've been nicer if they got my order right. Kitchen needs to fire their chef. One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We waited far too long just to be greeted, and when our server finally showed up, they seemed rushed and uninterested in taking our order correctly. The food took forever to arrive, and when it did, it was cold, bland, and clearly not fresh. Drinks were watered down and overpriced. The atmosphere felt chaotic, with loud music blasting so you could barely hold a conversation. On top of that, the staff didn't seem to care at all -- no check-ins, no apologies for the delays, nothing. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. For the price they charge, the quality and service were absolutely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this Yard House location to anyone. read more

We enjoyed Yard House twice while we were in town! Consistent sports bar experience! The menu is huge, there's something for everyone. We enjoyed calamari, salads and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The calamari and Hot Chicken were delicious! Anything fried right? The Chicken really stood out. Perfectly spiced with a sort of sweet heat kick. If those were tenders I could eat a whole mess of em. The kid's cheese pizza was legit too. The kitchen didn't cut corners just because it's on the kid's menu. The dough was really impressively fluffy. We'll have to come back for pizza! My only negative are portion sizes. Holy moly, huge! We had leftovers but didn't keep well. Hate to waste food and this wasn't expensive but enough so that you want to pay for what you'll finish. But if you're super into leftovers, they'll offer you all kinds of sized boxes. Service was fantastic. We had our 2 year old with us who was on the fussier side. Hi, back again....cuz we love it here! I'm a tad late in my review but here it is..... Today (2/27/24) my SONshine and I had the pleasure of having Jane ll take care of us. And that is EXACTLY what she did! All with a positive vibe and smiles for days! What a gem! One of our pizzas came out and as I was taking a pic her eye caught how overdone it was and immediately picked it up and said "oh no, that's going back and I'm getting you a new one" and the next one was PERFECT!! My poke nachos came out with serranos all over and she took those back too, moments later, another perfect platter comes out! Listen, I know the cooks were slammed and had a couple hiccups but the floor was on top of it! Specifically speaking of Jane ll, the two managers, Alijah and Dovid. The sincerity, the delivery, EVERYTHING was professional! You can tell how much they care about their customers; their guests. All in all, we had another incredible time and cannot wait to return. My wife and I went to the Yard House and had a cheap and poorly excused experience. First we ordered drinks. I had a Mojito, which was watered down. The waitress who was nice said the amount of liquor they put in it is measured and controlled by their liquor license. Liquor license covers age, location, zoning, insurance, specific events, etc. but not how many shots a drink has. She said if i wanted to make the drink stronger they could add it for an extra $9.00. So, I guess they can violate the license for a fee. Other places in the valley either make it right, add more liquor, or simply give you a new one. Then we ordered a chicken tortilla and cheese plate. Well, there was more dried cheese, guacamole, and sour cream than chicken. We both looked for chicken only to find minimal amounts scattered on the plate, which was a big plate. When the waitress came to check on us, I mentioned to her that we really didn't enjoy it because of the above mentioned reason. She again said that it's a measured amount that they use and that she would mention it to the manager. The manager to my surprise and her credit did show up to our table. I told her about our concern. She too said it's a measured portion the cooks put on the plate and that they could always add more, but again for an additional fee to the customer. Here is the problem. A measurement can be 3 pieces or 1000 pieces. As a customer, I expect a reasonable amount, not a minimal or excessive amount, a reasonable amount of meat. It's either that or they should change the name of the meal and just and, "with a hint of chicken" in the description. The words "a measured amount" is an industry excuse for being cheap at the customers expense. We were not looking for a discount or a free meal. Money was not a consideration. People should get exactly what restaurants offer and what the customer pays for, not more and absolutely not less. This experience turned us off from returning again. There are other places near by that are far better. I won't mention their names because I don't people that read this to think we're advertising for them. read more

Despite not being much of a sports or beer fan, I enjoy Yard House quite a bit. They have a huge menu with something for everyone and the food is really tasty. I'm addicted to the garlic parmesan shiitake noodles. My husband loves their wings. Snagging a table at peak hours can be challenging but they will take your number and text you, plus their website has an option to join the waitlist before you arrive (TBD how well this works). We prefer sitting at the bar if we can; it's huge and first-come-first-served so we luck out more often than not. The bar seats are very comfy and service there is friendly and attentive. If sports and beer are your thing, this is the perfect place to enjoy a game on one of their many flat screens, along with some pints of their extensive tap offerings. read more

Ewww two couples went here together 3 of the 4 had been before. It was crowded and there was a 15min wait but we didn't hear the message come in a text so we ended up having to wait another 5 mins as our table was given to other people. Two ordered salads, one ordered a chicken poke bowl thingee and I had the fish and chips. The fish was swimming in grease and the two sauces had been sitting out and had formed a skin on top. The tartar sauce was very peppery. The slaw was inedible. The person who ordered the poke bowl was surprised and almost turned it away when it arrived it was so different from the salmon bowl she had had at an earlier visit. One person ordered the Cobb salad which he said was OK and the other the Kale Ceasar. Neither looked particularly appealing to me. All in all the portions were huge but if the food is meh who wants a large portion. I will not return that is for sure. It was a noisy family pub grub style place with lots of TV screens. Probably fun for drinks with a large party of friends with the munchies. But when you rarely go out for a meal and you decide to you want something a little better. read more

The Yardhouse is a family favorite and had lots of people when we went. To get a table we liked took about ten minutes. The first table they sat us at was right next to the kitchen, a bit brightly lighted and noisy. We asked to move tables right away. The server was very friendly and sweet. We ordered two meals: the Whiskey Glazed Salmon which was very salty. The glaze was a sweet sauce in a ramekin on the plate. The carrots were excellent and thw mashed potatoes were served room temperature. The Fish and Chips were good. Hot. Well cooked. We got the chocolate molten cake served with ice cream. It looked delicious but was underwhelming. We didn't finish it. The server was very good and refilled our waters and took excellent care. read more

When I come to Palm Springs, I usually stop by this Yard House for specific food items. This time I decided to try the mushroom noodles. This is by far the worst dish I have ever had. The noodles were dry, hard and I could pick the whole dish up with my fork. I was hoping that the noodles would be light but instead, it was a big ball of stuck wire. I ended up throwing the whole dish in the trash and wasted my money. Yard House, do better and reimagine this dish. read more
