Wow! This place is a well-oiled machine on a Friday night! I honesty don't think I've seen a place have it together the way they do! First off, let me say I hadn't been to a Yard House in ten years. The only other time was in Las Vegas when my aunt and uncle took me to dinner. I remember he loved the beer selection there, so I knew that's kinda what Yard House is known for. I had known one opened up in Westlake, but hadn't been. However, my sister, her husband and I had tickets to see a movie at 6:50 on a summer Friday night. We knew we were going to head to Yard House and since it's right next to the movie theater, we weren't too worried about it. However, we started to get too busy shopping around and lost track of time. Before we knew it, it was 6:20! Eeek! We walked quickly to Yard House and I was honestly kind of surprised that we were seated right away. I feel like Friday nights around 6:30 are super busy at most other places (and they definitely looked busy!). Our waitress, Raven, came by quickly and she was AWESOME!! Super bright, bubbly, personality. I loved her. She is one of the best waitresses I've had in a long time. She was very helpful to me as I tried to order a flight of four beers (seriously looking back, if we were in such a rush, I'm not sure why I even did a flight. Lol!). We quickly ordered our food and let Raven know we were in a rush due to the 6:50p movie time. She hustled to get our order in and I honestly think everything came out in about ten minutes. WOW! I don't know if they are always that fast, or if Raven worked her magic or what. But we were super impressed as we thought the food would take 20-25 mins to come out. That really ensured we'd get to the movie on time. The food was great! I ordered buffalo boneless wings and my sister ordered some fries for us to share. I really enjoyed both and quickly gobbled them all up. I enjoyed the beer as well except for the "push pop" sour beer. Both my brother-in-law and I felt like it had a "chemical" taste to it. I do love places like this that do flights of 4 mini-beers so you can taste different ones. They are the perfect size! All in all, I would definitely head back here again! Sure they are a chain and what I ordered could be found on any menu elsewhere. However, it was Raven's personality and the pace/energy of this place (especially when we needed them to move fast!) is what gets them those 5 stars. Keep up the great work, Yard House! read more

I really liked the Kurobuta Pork burger that I tried last year for Cleveland Burger Week so I decided to hit up Yard House again. This burger is on their regular menu so you can get it any time at it's regular price. I love that you can get other sides besides fries with your burger! I opted for the asparagus for a slight upcharge and they were delicious! My burger patty was unfortunately burnt black on one side so that ruined the taste of the burger, but staff was more than amazing and apologetic about it! Without me even asking they comped the burger and offered to make me a new one. I had already boxed up the burger as I was just going to take it home and cut off the burnt side instead of wasting it so I declined the remake. Oh and they also gave me the CLE Burger Week passport and a stamp even though my visit was before the event officially started! Service had already been personable and attentive, but I was blown away by how awesome Andrew and Devon were in handling this kitchen mistake. With no bill now and having eaten mostly asparagus for lunch I decided to live it up use my burger funds for the Dessert Trio instead! This dessert comes with a mini chocolate soufflé, a mini cheesecake brûlée, and a mini peach apple cobbler. I didn't care for the soufflé, but the other two desserts were tasty! It was more than I could handle though so I had to box these up as well. Even though my burger was burnt I am still upgrading Yard House to 5 stars because of my overall experience (I even had to tell the manager how great her staff were). Mistakes happen and they more than made up for it. I've had the kurobuta pork burger before and I know it can be a really tasty burger so I still recommend you check it out, plus it's only $5 during CLE Burger Week! I will definitely be back to Yard House to try their other menu options and to check out their Happy Hour. read more

We decided to stop in on a Sunday afternoon. We only had about a 15 minute wait and it was good to see social distancing being enforced. The menu was typical bar good, nothing really impressive. The fried chicken sandwich was rubbery, but the burger was ok. I think this is more of a place to stop for drinks but no serious meals. I wouldn't say no if someone asked me to meet them here but it would never be my suggestion. read more

Server never asked my group for a second round of drinks. The poke nachos were cover in cilantro when I asked for no cilantro. Also cover in nori which made dish inedible . My wife and I joined our community's monthly dinner group outing and we are glad that we did decide to go. Although a little dark, the restaurant has a very sleek, modern look. The bar looks amazing and there are lots of TVs. The beer menu is the largest I have ever seen. I had a Brooklyn Lager and later a coffee/peanut butter porter, both of which were very good. The food menu is equally impressive. There are plenty of appetizers, entrees and sandwiches (including a selection of faux chicken sandwiches). My wife and I ordered the queso dip w bacon chorizo appetizer, which excellent. Our friends ordered an onion ring tower and enjoyed this as well. We each ordered a burger. I had the pepper jack and she the BBQ bacon burger. They are very large and the bun was fresh. Her burger was served warm, at best, but she didn't return it since we were dining with a group and didn't want to hold things up. My burger was served hot and was excellent. I substituted clam chowder for the fries and the soup was also very good. One of our friends ordered the Parmesan crusted pork loin. The portion was large and he enjoyed it. This was our first visit and we came with a group of approximately 30 people. The atmosphere is modern, with loads of beer on tap. The restaurant is clean and open. We were seated in the side room, which was perfect for our group. Service was impeccable. We had 5-6 servers and they were all amazing. They went above and beyond, which is often difficult with a large party. My husband and I both chose a beer with the help of our server. Both were perfect! Our server brought us a sample of another beer which was good too. We were there during happy hour so prices were a little better. We ordered the queso dip with the bacon chorizo and it was wonderful. Cheese was hot and spicy and the flavors were great. It was served with nacho chips and soft tortillas. I was actually stuffed when we finished it. I ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger and my husband ordered the Pepper Jack Burger. Both burgers were cooked as we requested and the flavors were good. My only complaint was that my burger wasn't hot. I am guessing it was because they did such a good job of having all the food ready at once for our group so that some of it sat waiting. Not a fan of room temperature burgers. Overall, great experience, and would definitely return. The menu is huge and the beer selection is great, so there is definitely a reason to return. read more

Cold brew and yummy food makes me a very very happy girl and this place offers exactly that. This is not our first time visiting Yard House and won't be the last. Tons and tons of beer on tap to pick from. I was in heaven. A lot of IPAs to pick from for IPA enthusiasts like me. We ordered the lobster garlic noddle and the Nashville hot chicken and both dishes were very very yummy. The garlic noddle had tons of fresh shrimp and lobster meat in it as well. The fried chicken was nicely flavored and cripsy outside and although its all white meat it was not dry at all. Our waitress Britney also was nice and attentive. And i loved that the place had tons of TVs and nice music when we were there Saturday night. We will definitely be back if ever in the area again read more

A couple of my friends and I went here for restaurant week. We made a good choice picking this place. Their restaurant week burger was made of pork patty, some strips of bacon and raspberry sauce. First time at Yard House I tried the lunch 2 taco combo. Instead of single tacos this came with rice and pinto beans. The bean serving, topped with cheese, was a little on the small side, but good. The rice was nicely seasoned. I most enjoyed the Vampire Taco. The shell was unique - a grilled, soft but crispy cheese-crusted flour tortilla shell. It reminded me of a potato pancake texture. Inside was carnitas, bacon chorizo, chipotle and cumin sauce with guacamole and cilantro on top. For my second taco I got the Chipotle Chicken. There was a chipotle sauce on top of cabbage, chicken, cilantro and feta cheese. Both tacos were good and flavorful. Alone two tacos would not be a large meal but with the two sides it was a good lunch portion. The service was a bit slow and the restaurant was freezing, but I enjoyed my lunch. I can't say there are many other items on the menu that were calling out to me, or that there were a lot of healthy choices, but for a quick lunch it was good. read more

We had a large group of 11 at Westlake Yard House Sunday last week. We were very pleased with the service and the food. Our waitress was breaking in a new server and I must say they both were excellent. The experienced server explained that the new server was ready to go it alone. She controlled a large order for us which included entrees and appitizers with no errors. She did a fantastic job. The food was fresh and delicious. I really want to give this place a higher rating because I was looking forward to it so much! I've always heard only great things about this place but after stopping on Saturday, I'm torn. I really want to like it, I really want to give it 5 stars but I just can't. The reasons why I liked it is because of the atmosphere or options. The atmosphere is great, very open and a really like the decor inside. The bar is huge, though space can be very limited since this place is always packed. Their beer selection is unbelievable. I have never felt more overwhelmed by all of the beer selections. Their food was pretty good as well, we both had the lunch combo. I had the field salad which comes with balsamic dressing and a cup of their chicken tortilla soup. He had a pastrami sandwich with a cup of the chicken tortilla soup as well. Now the reason why I just don't feel right giving it 5 stars is because of the service. We sat at the bar and our bartender just seemed annoyed. We asked for her opinion on beers and she seemed pretty uninterested to help us. I mean there are about 3 pages of beers, give me some help girl! We both got a very weird vibe from her, like she didn't want to take care of us or that we were a burden. After we received our food, we ended up having to ask a different bartender for condiments because she wasn't around. All in all, I would try this place again and I just hope the service is better. We live right down the street and I really wanted this place to become our new go-to place. He took his time to make us aware of all the new menu changes and gave great recommendations. He was also able to convert my stubborn father (a man who always drinks Bud Light from the bottle and who was dismayed to learn they only serve draft beer here-- GASP!) into trying a sample of beer from their extensive menu. My friend and I wanted to go out to dinner and we were over by Crocker so we decided to stop in here. This place kinda gives me the BJ's Brewhouse vibes with the large menu, abundance of beers, and a nice selection of cocktails. The waitress informed us the menu in front of us was "limited" even though it was full front and back with food and drink/draft beer selections. I think she said something like over 100 beers on tap? Cool! I was feeling a marg so I got the salted watermelon one. I thought it was the perfect summer marg and it was very refreshing. I ended up getting a second drink, the Malibu Peach and that one was super tasty as well. I didn't get a picture of it because the drink was too good and I drank it down pretty quickly. I had an email for a free appetizer cuz I signed up for their e-newsletter. We decided to split the cheese curds because they sounded absolutely delightful. Man were they good and they gave you quite a few! They came with two sauces, a honey hot sauce & a horseradish aioli, both were super flavorful and went super well with the curds that were ooey gooey and fried to perfection. They even came with little mini skewers to eat them with, how cute! For dinner, I wanted a sandwich but didn't want meat that evening so I went with the Beyond Burger. I got regular gouda cheese on it instead of vegan "cheese" and I liked it quite a bit! I'm a red meat addict but even I liked the beyond burger. They had avocado on it, along with lettuce, tomato, onion and it was a hefty sandwich. I don't think it tastes anything like beef, but I still liked it. They give a nice portion of fries too, and they were super crisp and salty, yum! Their outdoor patio dining is nice and spread out and is covered well so we were in the shade, perfect for a hot summer evening. I had originally given Yard House five stars because of their stellar service and the great happy hour options, but they've since trimmed the options on the discounted happy hour menu and the service has fallen significantly. My most recent beverage order, a draft beer, took longer than 30 minutes to arrive. It took two requests the server to finally get my drink. It's also a loss to longer have any of the sushi options on the happy hour menu. Regarding the regular menu, most items are good. I was not impressed with the Nashville chicken, but most other things are satisfactory. Honestly, 30 minutes for a beer is a huge disappointment. read more

Music is played WAY TOO LOUD for decent conversing. Why do establishments do this, are they hoping people will get up and dance?
