First of all, I have to say I was super happy that the chef was willing to make my lobster garlic noodles without dairy. That was a great impression and I really appreciated it. Which, the lobster garlic noodles were delicious, so if you can eat dairy I'm betting theyre even more delicious! My husband got the Nashville hot chicken, and the sweet potato pancakes are literally little pancakes. The orange syrup that went with the dish was really tasty too! The restaurant is big, spacious, and clean and modern. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Everything else in the immediate area of Crocker park is your typical chain restaurants, so the Yard House was a pleasant change of pace. We will definitely be back. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! Great food, awesome atmosphere, and wonderful staff. I love their veggie burger, tomato soup, and edamame.

The lack of 1 star is NOT because of the food or help. It is because of the ambiance. I was invited here by some fellow foodie friends. The place, although beautiful on the inside, was just so loud. I could barely get a word in, and when I did, I had to scream at the top of my lungs. That's just not my vibe. I would much rather hang out at a more intimate spot where I can socialize normally. The food and help on the other hand were legit. We had a bunch of different dishes from the menu. The fried macaroni and cheese bites were phenomenal, with the perfect crunch. Dip them in the porcini cream sauce, it's to die for. Some other favorites were the poke nachos (if you're a tuna fan), the onion ring tower (the presentation is super cool) and the Korean boneless wings. It was overall a good experience. The food was fantastic, the help was efficient and friendly, but the overall vibe of the place will probably deter me from going there again any time soon. read more

Yard House is another restaurant in a long list of west side establishments that needs an east side counterpart. If you are on the east side of Cleveland and are willing to drive the 40+ mins to Crocker Park, you should plan on eating a meal or grabbing some drinks at Yard House. They have one of the best beer lists around, a diverse but not overwhelming menu, and creative twists on some classic food. The venue itself is modern, open, and has a lot of seating options both inside and outside. The wrap around bar is a spectacle onto itself. Décor aside, the entire reason I came to Yard House in the first place was to eat some Nashville style Hot Chicken because it is a rarity for Cleveland and is pretty much unavailable on the east side (if you have a hot chicken place on the east side of CLE please let me know), but I was surprised by the variety of food and beer choices. The beer list is EXTENSIVE and organized by type and most come in pints, growlers, or this cool large glass called half yards. The sharable appetizers and smaller snack plates all sounded too delicious to pass up. I narrowed it down to a few choices but our server Ian emphatically told us to go with Fried Mac n Cheese, and boyyyy he was right. The fried mac came out and I thought they were mozzarella sticks based on their shape, but when I bit in the cheese pasta texture was apparent right away. They truly seem to be made in house rather than out of a frozen shipping crate. The creative twist on these fried mac and cheese logs was the sauces. The two sauces tasted like soup! One was a riff on tomato soup and the other was a creamy porcini mushroom sauce, so it was like eating grilled (mac n) cheese with mushroom or tomato soup. I am still so impressed just recounting it. As I said, the sole purpose of this visit was to get some hot chicken and there were two options for hot chicken on the menu, a dinner and a sandwich. Having just inhaled fried mac n cheese I opted for the hot chicken sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was an all-white breast with spicy slaw and white cheese spread. The heat was on-point without being terribly hot, and despite not being a slaw-guy, the spicy sweet slaw really made the bite refreshing. My wife went with the sliders as a meal and they were basically a large burger cut into 4 smaller pieces, very tasty but nothing out of this world. Save some of the sauce from the fried mac n cheese to kick it up your entrees a notch. Everything about the meal was great from the beer, to the food, down to the service. Again, should out Ian our server for taking good care of us. My only negative would be that there isn't anything like Yard House on the east side, but it would fit in nicely in the Beachwood place / legacy village area nicely (hint hint). I highly recommend checking this place out for the hot chicken an beer. I will definitely be back to test drive other items from the menu in the near future. read more

Stopped in to Yard House for lunch recently. I had never heard of this place, but was pleasantly surprised with our meal. The service and food were excellent. I ordered two fish tacos and a beef taco and they were delicious. I really liked them. They were served with curry rice, which was also very delicious. I loved the meal and I would definitely eat here again. Everyone else also enjoyed their meals. It was lunch, so we didn't drink, but they had over 100 beers on tap, which I found impressive. We were invited to the soft opening of Yard House and we're excited to try it. My hubby and I had never been to one. They offered us each 2 free drinks and had servers delivering an endless array of dishes from their menu in bite size portions. Blackened sword fish taco - delicious with great flavor and a little spice Shiitake mushroom pasta - great flavor and texture Thai pizza - tastes exactly like what you would think. Amazing flavor and texture with peanuts, chicken, etc. 4 cheese pizza - which I would have had a full portion to taste the cheeses coming together. Pepperoni and mushroom pizza - really good BBQ chicken pizza - really good Firecracker chicken wings - okay, a bit spicy for my liking Burger - pretty tasty with cheddar and Swiss cheese and a salted bun Gardein- their vegetarian "chicken". This was super tasty and caught me off guard. I honestly couldn't tell it wasn't chicken. Spinach and artichoke dip - good, but just your average Chicken and penne pasta - good Chicken, pickle and pancake - seemed super odd, but was super tasty This is definitely upscale bar food with a wide array of options of different cuisines. I have been to a Yard House a few years ago and always have a good image of Yard House. I enjoyed lunch here and I sat at the bar. I didn't drink since it was lunch but as everyone knows they have so many beers on tap. The bartender was absolutely fantastic I don't remember this name for a shout out but he was working 2/17 around Noon. He was also training a bartender. I had the kale ceased and added chicken. The chicken was so moist and perfection. It was one of the best salads I have had in a long time. They have very good lunch specials and specials happening all the time. If you see Yard House in a city you are visting, I would visit! This is also from my mind being a restaurant manager. I heard the bartender say when he rings up a cocktail in the computer that the recipe pops up which he was telling the trainee. This place has always given their best. I've been coming here for several years as my woman and I anniversary dinner, and maybe a few times throughout the year. As a higher end restaurant for the area, it seems to be like a classy Applebee's. I love this place but at the same time the class level has changed a huge amount. Suck also our favorite appetizer is no longer here but still won't stop us from coming back. But definitely gotta come back after the dinner hours for more of a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Yard House is a very good choice if you need food that will fill you up and an atmosphere that provides a touch of class with a touch of hipster. They have an excellent selection of vegetarian dishes which are worth trying, even if you're not a vegetarian. All of the workers there are always on top of everything as well. If I could seek to improve one thing, however, I would like the food to be a little more flavorful. As wonderful as it already is, it could be tuned up slightly. Was there Saturday for lunch with family. The server was excellent (sorry I didn't get his name). The food was spot on. My husband said that the beer prices were okay. The drinks are overpriced. I ordered a bloody mary on the recommendation of the server. The first one was good with the hard boiled egg (with paprika), sugared bacon and salted rimmed glass. The second one came without any paprika or salt. Consistency in what you are doing is always a good thing. Everyone was very satisfied with their food and, because we do this all the time, pretty much everyone tasted something off of each other's plates. They hit it out of the park for dinner. On a Saturday night, I always recommend calling ahead. They don't take "reservations" but one can call and get on the list, then check in. They'll notify you by text message when your table is ready. Appetizer of pea pods fried was good, but a bit challenging to eat.
