My wife and I came here today for the first time. We came for a late lunch early dinner. OMG!!! This place is awesome. Very clean, staff was very friendly, it started of by being greeted by 2 very nice and super friendly hostess, our waitress was awesome. Our waitress's name was Amy. She was great!! One of the best waitresses we have had in a long time. My wife started off with the chicken tortilla soup, then she had the bone in rib-eye. She raved and loved both. My wife loves her red meat and she loved it. I had the fish and chips which was very good. I lived in England and I know fish and chips. My wife also had the sangria to drink which very much enjoyed. She is already planning our next visit with the kids and grandkids. If you go and don't have a favourite server ask for Amy, you will not be disappointed. Decided to give this place a try since I figured my usual spot, The Cheesecake Factory (right across from Yard House) would be too crowded. Turns out, Yard House had an 1hr wait to seat my party of 3, and it was so busy. I'll give them a pass since it was a Saturday night and an NFL playoff weekend. The host was really nice about it when I bugged her halfway through our wait. The restaurant and the bathroom were super clean! Nice TV's great for watching sports. I highly recommend the rosé refresher and the calamari. Lastly, paying was super easy and they have a nice way to allow you to split the check among your party. Overall, I enjoyed my experience. I love The Cheesecake Factory to death, but it's nice to see them finally have some competition at Willow Grove. read more

We went on November 8 it was my sisters in laws bday we were a table of 9 the waitress wasn't attentive from the beginning but we didn't think much of it.at first. We patiently waited for our drinks that we ordered And they were ok a little tiny for the price but ok. As the night went in things got worse we never got water or refills on any beverages we ordered ! There was a waiter (young black guy ) who clearly Noticed we were being ignored. He was very helpful and she didn't like that so her and this other server Were being rude to him and we couldnt figure out why ! Any way the night was ruined the server said she didn't like our table And she wish she could spit in our food ! The manger comped our food but keep her on the floor so this is clearly a norm. My family and I went there at the spur of the moment and I was happy that we tried it. Our waiter was very attentive and quick. I love that they have the tablets on the table that has several features including calling the waiter and/or paying your Bill (which limits face to face contact). The food was good and HOT. First time at this place was last weekend. I & my companion both ordered the carne asada tacos, which came with rice & beans. It was all terrible. The rice was tasteless goo - like water & flour - pastey tasting, absolutely no flavor. The beans were the same. I cannot understand how anybody can mess up rice & beans from a can?? The tacos were a greasy mess! Thankfully we had a gift card to cover most of this atrocity. Never again. Grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup never tasted so good. The french bread crust was buttery and toasted. The 5 cheeses were gooey, complex and delicious. The soup was seasoned with basil. This was a perfect meal, honey with an upscale flair. read more

A listing of all that went wrong at lunch on Friday December 27th with our party of 6. 1. for some reason it had under our name that we requested patio seating. We did not but it didn't matter because they were not going to honor it anyway. 2. we looked at the menu prior to going and my daughter wanted to get the tacos. The waitress advised us their flat top was not working and they couldn't cook tacos or sliders. She ordered a turkey burger and 5 minutes later the waitress advised no Turkey burgers. 3. We ordered appetizers Buffalo wings & Korean wings, what we got was buffalo wings and Korean beef. 4. food comes out but for only 4 of us and while all should have been hot platters the stacked enchiladas my daughter ended up ordering were ice cold as well as my sons clam chowder. 5. about 10 minutes later my niece gets her Spicy tuna stack and an explanation about how they had to hand make it? 7. My brother is still sitting there there without his meal, we had to get a manager to get it, at least it was hot. We decided against desert as we were done, this place was a hot mess. read more

For the people who say they had horrible service and are slow, they literally just opened this past Monday. I was also there yesterday (Friday) that was their FIRST Friday. Of course they going to be busy and since it's new, it may take longer than expected. I had a party of 12 and we agreed to split tables to speed up the seating process. I called ahead at 6pm and told them I would be there at 8pm. I was also told to find someone named Sarah (if I remember that correctly) who turned out to be a manager. She took care of us right away and we were able to get two booths back to back. We had to squeeze 8 in a booth meant for 6 but we were fine with it knowing the circumstances. I was not happy with this place at all! For starters the wait time was 60 mins for a party of 1. Totally ridiculous. I just wanted to treat myself to a small meal and drink. After waiting forever, I finally got seated. The waitress was friendly and had a great sense of humor. Very sweet girl. I noticed that the menu was extremely small and I had a hard time choosing what to eat. I ended up ordering the traditional Korean wings and a side salad. The wings were gross. They were fried way too hard and too crunchy. I ate one wing and that was the end of that. When the salad came out, there was no dressing. I waited about 5-10 mins before the waitress came over to bring me dressing. (Not her fault) I probably will never return to Yard House. I gave 2 stars only because I enjoyed the drink. "Sunset Sangria" very tasty. If I ever came back, it would ONLY be for drinks. read more

As this place has just opened, you can tell they are still working out the kinks. That being said, the host/hostess, waiters, trainers, and managers were all extremely attentive and super nice. The beer selection is phenomenal, the cocktails are amazing, and the food was good/average (spinach dip was just OK, calamari was yummy, fish and chips looked good, burger was just OK, husband's steak was very tasty). Overall, definitely give this place a shot, but try to avoid typical lunch/dinner times because there will be a serious wait. I'll definitely be back! read more

Decided to give Yard House a try for lunch while doing some Christmas shopping. The restaurant is very nice, and rather big, so there was no wait for lunch. Our party of three was greeted kindly and promptly seated by the hostess. The booths are big and very comfortable, could probably accommodate six adults. The beer selection is excellent, as advertised. The onion ring tower was a great appetizer for the table. The entree I initially tried to order was unavailable, but overall the food we did order was very good. The service was also good, but it was a bit chaotic. You are encouraged to order drinks and desserts from the touch-screen device on your table. Ours didn't exactly work correctly, so the server had to intervene a couple times. It was evident that they were experiencing some growing pains, which is understandable since they only recently opened. It is a bit pricey, but otherwise a very good experience. I went to The Yard House in Willow Grove a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Our server was kind and very attentive. There were three of us and the manager stopped by to check in and offered a tour/explanation of the two story incredible beer storage system. It's amazing and any beer lover would be in love with the high tech system, simply perfect keeps the beer at perfect temp from keg to tap, very impressive. We had ahi tuna and the server recommended the kurobuta pork burger with blueberry ketchup. And the fry options were tasty as well. Menu is full of great option for non meat eaters too. I have been craving it since we left. Might be the taste bud explosion you've been searching for. Great experience, cool vibe, and fun staff all make it a destination you should search out asap, and they do take away in these covid times as well! read more

For the prices they charge I would expect the food to taste so much better. I came here twice so far to give this place another chance but the food just isn't that good. Got the margarita pizza and it was a disappointment, first I've never seen big chunks of onions on a margarita pizza, there was barely any sauce or cheese and the pizza itself was dull, tiny and tasteless. The chicken nachos are okay. The buffalo boneless wings are extremely spicy and they don't let you know that their buffalo sauce is the spiciest sauce they have so that was a complete waste. Got the sunset sangria and half the ingredients listed weren't in my drink. The mini chocolate soufflé was horrible, it was dense and dry and the ice cream had pieces of ice in it and wasn't smooth at all like ice cream at other restaurants is. Not impressed with this place at all and definitely not worth the money, huge disappointment. Gave this place a second chance and I will definitely not be returning. Solid beer list, ok food, kinda overpriced, but no big deal. The 3 stars comes from an unusual first experience. I've been to plenty of bars in my day, so I'd say I'm an experienced bar-goer. I've never been to a bar that insisted on using placemats. Placemats at a bar are weird, but even weirder, they weren't actually placemats at all. They were actually just napkins that the bartender referred to as placemats. Bartender seemed to align with our bewilderment, and made sure to inform us that the manager would be rather upset if we didn't use our napkins as placemats (but didn't actually provide any napkins either). Also, they had a ton of TV's but not a single one was able to display the NFL Thursday Night Football game, so we watched the game on our iPhones. Apparently their fire preventing sprinkler system also prevented them from displaying football? All in all, not a bad place, but it seemed to be overly controlled by unusual corporate policies that didn't seem terrible customer friendly. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe I'm stupid, and maybe I have trouble with authority, but it doesn't seem like watching a football game and eating food from a plate placed directly on a bar with a napkin on my lap is that big of an ask. read more

This was my girlfriend and I's first time checking out Yards. We were very happy to find out they opened back up their indoor dining so soon! We walked in, the place was very nice and we sat at the bar. It took a bit for the bartenders to come over to us but with everything going on it's completely understandable and we were not in a rush at all. We grabbed drinks which were really good and we put in an appetizer. The bartender asked us if we wanted to put our entrees in and we specifically said only if it will be spaced out from our appetizer. She said it would be. Up until then we had a good experience however, over a half hour goes by and we still haven't received our app but other guests that got there after we got there already had their app, which interesting enough was exactly what we ordered. A few minutes later, they brought us our entrees which we specifally asked not to have until after our appetizer was done. We still hadn't received our appetizer yet. We talked to the bartenders and sent the food back to the kitchen and ordered a second round of drinks. Our appetizer finally came out shortly after. Mid appetizer they sent out our entrees again and sat it next to us. Now, My girlfriend and I both have restaurant experience so we know how the heat lamp works so we knew our entrees wouldn't be fresh but we were hopeful with their mistake that they would have remade our food. They didn't. The fries were cold and stale and you could tell the burger and sandwich weren't fresh. We weren't impressed at all but didn't wanna complain or cause a scene because we know everyone is stressed right now during covid. We just wish our experience could have been a lot better because we really wanted to make this a regular spot. read more

I went to YARDHOUSE WILLOWGROVE with some friends last night, and wow - we were impressed. From the minute we stepped foot in the door, opened by warm smiles and energetic welcoming staff, to being sat in a timely matter and greeted right away! The staff was so polite and the food was incredibleeeeee! Jen Nowak was the life of the party! She came by our table to make sure everything was to our liking (and boy it was!) Jen made sure everyone at our table was taken care of and I noticed her doing this for the whole restaurant. You folks did a great job on selecting her. Drinks were amazing! Food was incredible to! I will be having the lamb burger from now on (two please ) The appetizers came out in minutes and the place was packed. Honestly, we were surprised with how good the food was prepared and placed on the plate for how many people were there. Usually other restaurants get "weeded" as you say in the industry and throw stuff on a plate. I will definitely be bringing my family and friends there more often.
