Went here many times was one our favorites. Parking is terrible to the location. First few times was amazing, fresh, flavorful. Went again recently got the usual things we normally do. It was not as fresh and flavorful as it used to be. The nuggets that used to be good and fresh were clearly frozen store bought ones. Not worth the price for frozen chicken. read more

When my boyfriend and I got there around 11am this past weekend, there were a few people already seated and no one in line. We walked right up and ordered from a young lady who kept asking us to repeat what we wanted over and over as if she couldn't hear us (which seemed strange as we were standing right at the register and speaking normally). We ordered the seafood rangoons, one of the chicken sandwiches as a meal with parm fries, the chicken and waffles, and 2 drinks. (Note: we tried to order the chicken and waffles as a meal, since the menu gave that option - but we were told "we don't do that one as a meal anymore" -- anymore? Didn't you just open like 2 weeks ago?? Just odd.) She rang us up and never gave us our drinks. We walked away and found a seat, assuming perhaps they bring it all out together. About 30 MINUTES later we finally got our food... at this point, the place was PACKED with people in "line" - I use that word loosely as there was no rhyme or reason where people should stand to wait to place an order. It was a bit chaotic and no one who worked there was trying to help people understand. Twice my boyfriend went back to the counter for our food thinking his name was called. We were listening for "Jesse" and could have sworn we heard it... but it was "Jazzy" and then "Trish" -- It was finally our turn when we heard (for what sounded like the third time) my boyfriends name. --- In a place that can be a bit chaotic, with what seemed like mostly young people working (who didn't know how to SPEAK UP and call out a name) it would be helpful for them to have a PA system or at least use order numbers instead of names... OR train their staff on how to properly use volume and clarity to call out for someone. Everyone just seemed young and quiet... They gave us our food...We had to remind them that we had ordered drinks and didn't receive them. We sat down to eat... THE FOOD: Seafood Rangoons - I actually really liked these. I've seen other reviews state they were too salty - but I didn't think that. They had a yummy filling and Duck Sauce for dipping. My boyfriend tried one and was all set - but he's not the biggest Rangoon lover to begin with. The chicken sandwich - I can't remember the exact one I got, it wasn't the OG and wasn't the one labeled spicy... it did state it would have a spicy glaze on it, along with cole slaw and YAS sauce... I took a bite and a half and had to trade with my boyfriend - it was WAAAAAAY too spicy for me. I'm sure it was lovely if you want that level, but I wasn't expecting that and wonder if they gave me the spicy chicken by accident?? Not sure. He thought it was pretty ok... Parm fries - pretty standard, good crisp to them, under salted, but no real complaints...they were fine. Chicken and waffles - The chicken is yummy. Nice coating, not overly greasy, good crunch, juicy inside. But the waffles... they were not what we were expecting. We were expecting... WAFFLES. What we got was something waffle SHAPED, but very deep fried and simply filled with oil. I'm not one to turn away from yummy fatty delicious deep fried food...but I couldn't do it. They were not good. There was zero flavor to them and just soaked in oil. I tried dipping one into some syrup and it just tasted like sweetness added to nothing. I expected a typical waffle-batter style waffle that came out of a waffle maker, not something deep fried and, poorly at that. Would not order again. I get that they just opened...but based on the incomplete décor, the lack of standarized practices, lack of organization, and what seemed like young people training other young people amidst the chaos - I wonder if the timing was right to open so soon. Perhaps another week or two of "getting things together" might have helped the experience? read more

First of all the food is so gooood! Service you know is like they want to do good at the same time is real between good and great hospitality. The manager use to manage DENDEN I mean he the best on that street. They are luck to have him as a manager. The ambiance was ok after all it is take out place. Overall I like it! We should have turned around and left the minute we walked in. Their was trash overflowing from the garbage cans, napkins and trash all over the floor. We ordered a chicken sandwich, and the Korean corn dogs. The corn dogs were okay but I just don't care for the sweet flavor of the batter. The chicken sandwich on the other hand was HORRIFIC!!! First bit was just breading and then the second bit was like biting through a really thick rubber band, I couldn't even get my teeth through it. I opened the sandwich to look at what I just bit into and the chicken meat was GRAY! I went to pull it with my fingers and it was so hard. I immediately brought it back up and they offered to make me a new one. I said no thank you, I am not hungry after biting into that revolting meat and they refunded me. The woman at the cash register was nice and apologized but the manager did not seem to care or try to apologize/make it right. To no surprise, about 30 min after leaving I had the worst stomach ache. Never going there again. There are much better fried chicken spots in Providence. read more

The line was too long for the quality of the food as well, the sandwich nearly fell apart completely at the first bite, the fries were good but didn't seem fresh. I can't say much about the service/wait since I ordered online and picked up an hour later at the store. Was very crowded and a little bit disorganized but I don't really have a problem with that. My problem is the food........ my wife and I got a sandwich, tenders and fries and a corn dog. I was scrolling through every review of this spot looking to see if anyone had the same experience with the chicken sandwich as I did. I'm not sure if I ate a half raw chicken patty or not, but something was super weird about the texture. The texture was like sinking your teeth into a wad of tiny rubber bands that snap apart when you bite. It was tough to bite into and had ZERO flavor, I was tripping for a sec thinking I was biting into every part of the sandwich other than the chicken but I was wrong. Similar sensation as biting into a raw eggplant. It was nothing I've ever experienced before and I've never eaten raw chicken before but I'm assuming this is the case. The rest of the order was incredibly mediocre and very expensive considering the quality. The corn dog had almost no dog! Didn't seem cooked through either. I really don't recommend this to anyone, you'll have a better time at Soban Korean eatery downstairs. read more

I wanted to try this place since seeing their pictures online of the food looked absolutely delicious. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender meal, asked for the tenders to be tossed in the soy garlic sauce. I asked for either ranch or blue dressing on the side, whichever they have in stock. The one size drink that comes with the meal is a bummer, especially with the price you pay for a meal. And you can't substitute fries for tater tots with the meal, and you can't get truffle fries with the meal even though you have the choice of regular fries or Parmesan fries. It took a very long time to get the food, everyone was shoulder to shoulder, very unorganized where the line starts and ends, it was super loud in there you can't even hear yourself think. Eventually they called my name, I asked the girl if the side sauce was in there, she said yes. I left not thinking to double check since she told me yes, plus it was just so crazy busy I just wanted to get out of there. I get home and open up my meal, they have me 3 plain chicken tenders with a side of their YAS sauce, which I've never had before. Not tossed in the soy garlic sauce and no ranch or blue cheese like I asked. I was so frustrated and disappointed. It even said on my receipt soy garlic next to the tenders. I just don't really understand how my order was all messed up. Not sure if I'll be going back. read more
