very nice with good taste! Good location with parking validation. Try kimichi fried rice it's great

Over $20 tofu soup.. you better buy $5 meal kit
    Isabel Y.

I ordered from YaSikNara through Uber Eats last night, and I feel absolutely compelled to leave this review. First, the soondubu (soft tofu stew) was over $20, yet it tasted like someone just threw in plain tofu into instant ramen soup powder. There were no vegetables, no care, no flavor depth--nothing. Even a $4 meal kit tastes better than this. It is a complete ripoff. Second, the chicken wings were inedible. I took one bite and had to throw the rest away. I was really craving Korean-style wings, but this was beyond disappointing. It didn't taste like it had chili or capsaicin. It felt like some kind of chemical or toxic substance was on it. My lips started burning, my tongue stung, and the skin under my nose turned red and irritated. Just to be clear, I love spicy food but this wasn't just spicy. it felt like someone intentionally sabotaged the food. I had to rinse my mouth with ice multiple times, my lips turned red and painful, and I couldn't finish even one wing. How can a restaurant serve something like this? Worst of all, this garbage cost me $160.

Had a really great experience at Ya Sik Na Ra! The food was super authentic and full of flavor -- especially the Korean food!everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned.

Ambiance: it's a late night dine bar style restaurant, located on the second floor of the popular plaza, they validate parking for three hours, just remember to park at the underground level of the garage, neither the ground level of where cvs is located, nor the upper level of the graduate Service: not very fast and forgetful, had to reminder servers a few times to get things right Food & Drink: variety choices on their menu for spicy food and drinks, be careful to choose the spicy level from 0 to 7, with 0.5 increment, anything above 3 could be painful Spicy Chicken Feet - *** overcooked chicken feet, too mushed together Steamed Egg - **** steamed with seafood, recommend Seaweed Rice Ball - ** flavorless Spicy Stir-Fired Pork Feet - **** chewy and tender, flavorful, recommend Watermelon - ** the watermelon scoops were made ahead and seated there too long, not fresh Peach Makgeolli - *** average rice wine CASS - *** light Korean beer TERRA - *** light Korean beer KLOUD - *** light Korean beer Price: moderate portions, and decent prices for food but overpriced for drinks, about $50 per person

Good taste! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely come back again.

Yasiknara is located on the second floor of the Solair building. The good things about this place are that it seems to be open late, and it's not crowded at all during weekday late evenings. They have K-pop blasting and music videos playing on a projector, and it's a great place to get a little tipsy on soju and beer and maybe grab a bite to eat. They offer a wide variety of Korean dishes that go well with drinking. The food was just ok...we ordered a variety of dishes but nothing really stands out enough to mention. The menu is kind of overwhelming as it is the combos, and so I hate how you have to figure out the menu on your phone and also order through your phone. Maybe it's just me and maybe I'm just getting old lol, but I'm sucker for physical menus and fewer, simple choices on a menu. I could really see myself struggling if I wandered in here drunk already. We ended up just ordering individual items instead of a combo. Also, the way they price their menu items doesn't make sense to me. Some items seems like an absolute bargain while others seem to be way overpriced. Overall the ambiance is great for drinking, and the food is acceptable, but it's hard to imagine anyone being a regular at this place unless you live in the Solair building.

This place is so good! The food feels super homey and authentic, loved the fish cake soup and crispy pancake, and the spicy chicken feet were crazy good if you like heat. Chill vibes, fast service, and perfect for hanging out with friends. I'll definitely be back!

Came to this Korean restaurant and had amazing dishes with great vibes. Join me!! Highlights of the menu: 1. Special hot pot with 6 sections: clam + mussel + octopus + fish cake + crab + udon 2. Stir-fried spicy baby octopus - eat with bean sprouts 3. Chicken feet 4. Kimchi fried rice 5. Chicken gizzard 6. Bulgogi with tteokbokki Great service as they help you with cutting the octopus. Good vibe to go drinking with family and friends in the weekend! Make sure to check on spicy level, they have mild to very very spicy level! Basement parking is available for the building. Use the elevator to go up to the restaurant. It can be a bit tricky but they explain at restaurant and on their website.

You might come here for the drinks, but you'll stay for the food. Raw Crab: The time has finally come. I've been seeing raw crab everywhere online and I finally got to try it at a Korean restaurant. Safe to say that I'm in love. The crab was well-marinated and there was a lot of meat in the crab so not only was the quality good, but so was the price point. Spicy Sea Snail: This was also my first time having snails in a Korean dish and I liked the contrast in textures. The snails provided a chew to the crispness of the salad and the sauce grabbed onto the noodles which made every bite so flavorful. Potato Pancake: I've been waiting to try potato pancakes because I'm obsessed with savory pancakes. I didn't imagine it to remind me of a hashbrown but it felt much cleaner because it wasn't as greasy and the shreds of potato were so thin that it was crispy. Stir-fried Bulgogi: The marinade they used was one of the sweeter ones I've tried but I liked the twist that they put on it by adding japchae and rice cakes. Rice Cake Skewer: The crispiness on this was perfect. The inside was still chewy and the glaze on top was pretty sweet but nothing you can't take off if it's too much. If you want something similar but different, they have one with sausages. Deep Fried Chicken Gizzard: A perfect appetizer or little crunchy pieces you can snack on between the main entrees. It was crispy and not overly greasy. Grilled Sweet Soy Sauce Squid Legs: A good balance of sweet and savory. The squid was also not overcooked and it's nice that they cut it up so it's easy to eat and split amongst your group. Galbi Jjim with Cheese: This is the one dish that I'll say you can skip on. The cheese didn't melt too nicely and the meat wasn't as tender as other places that I've tried. Overall, you need to make a visit and aim to try one category from every item. Luckily, I came with a large group so I had a fun sampling session but if you're coming with a small group, definitely get the crab. The service was also quick and the waiters were kind. It wasn't too packed on a Thursday night so it seems like a good place to hang out before the weekend.

Bossam with Raw Oysters and Raw crab in the back
    Risa Y.

I went to Yasiknara for a date night with my husband because it's been a while since we've gone out to Koreatown together. We ordered so much food because we don't get to eat like this all the time! We order the Bossam with raw oysters on the side, stir fried baby octopus stone tablets, raw crab, soon tofu, clam soup and grilled pork belly. I tried the raw crab for the first time and wow I highly recommend them! My second favorite dish was the Bossam that came with raw oysters. I never had them with raw oysters before! Everything else was also very delicious. Although we ordered so much, with some soju and beer, we were able to devour most of it! The service was also very good. I love the contactless ordering system where you can make your orders using the QR code on your phone. It makes it so much easier to track what you are ordering and also how much you are spending. The parking is behind the building on Oxford. It's a bit tricky to find where it is exactly, but they do a great job explaining where it is on your instagram and website.

Soooo good. I was looking for good chicken feet and found this place. Definitely will be coming back :) service is friendly Nd theyre so clean

The waiting area is quite big too so it's not cramped at all. The buffet selection was pretty good, a lot of good variety. The place area for this place was very dirty with lots of trash & hobo so I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone with small children or come here alone. The neighborhood is really sketchy and stinky with lots of flys. The front entrance was also hard to find and no signs of where the entrance was since good map didn't take us to the correct door. We also spent some time looking for parking but they also have a lot for $2 parking for customers so we just paid. Wished they mentioned that when I called so we didn't have to waste time looking for street parking. Food was ok, there weren't many options to choose from other than a few repeated items. The sauce bar was pretty confusing since their name didn't match where they put the sauce. The portion of the meat side were too little and can only order 4 at a time. We finished our meat just couple mins after it was on the table. It wasn't too busy when we went so that was good. Nothing special or good food that I would come back again. The price we paid for definitely wasn't worth it tho.
